I never understood why anyone in the media that took them self serious would lie on their stories, to me, it takes away from your work,but mainstream media and indeed, certain media companies on you tube do not see this as an issue, like Anna Kasparian, from the young turks.

The IFR (Infection Fatality rate) of sars-cov-2 (covid 19) is, according to the cdc around 0.26% though the WHO thinks it is closer to 0.6%. Both of them are significantly lower then the initial 3.4% of the WHO. The 0.24% number has been known by the cdc since may, so why the scare tactics?
