The Fourth lecture in the series continues with the Banul 'Abbas period, beginning at 320AH with the nineteenth khalifah of this rule. This period saw many battles between the Scholars and kings based upon creed and power, we see many sects gaining power and also many great scholars who revived the Sunnah, taking us up 458AH with an exciting turn of events.

The Third lecture in the series continues with the Banul 'Abbas period, beginning at 137AH with with the continuation of their reign, along with mentioning many famous Scholars who died during this period, going all the up to 341AH.

The Second lecture in the series continues with the Bani Umayyah period, beginning at 61AH with the reign of Yazid and tragic event that ufolded, going all the way through to the beginning of the Banul 'Abbas period, with the death of the first Abbasid Khalif in 136AH.

The first lecture in the series begins with the introduction to the course, this includes a detailed analysis of the historical sources which will be used throughout the course, and their weight in significance both historically and Islamically. The period of history looked at in this lecture is from 41AH to 60AH, this covers the beginning of the Umayyah period.
