Having emerged from an acidic environment of junk food and toxic tap water it's understandable that people are reaching for a cure. But alkaline water isn't what it's cracked up to be. The stomach is meant to be acidic!

Today, many people are suffering from a lack of stomach acid which, in turn, is wreaking havoc on digestive systems worldwide. Along with stress, excess sugar and GMO foods, I feel that alkaline water is additionally in part to blame for our current epidemic of mal-digestion.
