The poem/ballade Draumkvedet is, amongst several other places, found in Telemark, Norway and the present form is by scholars dated to the late middle ages. There are over 100 versions of it.
Draumkvedet is composed of:

2. The visionary preface
3. The visit to the realm of death 1
4. The visit to the realm of death 2
4. The judgement
5. The visit to the realm of death 3
6. The return for good deeds.
