Invited testimony before the Michigan House Energy Committee in 2018 on Senate Bill 637. SB 637 is an industry sponsored 5G wireless infrastructure legislation. Despite multiple scientific and medical experts expressing their concerns (Dr. Paul Heroux, Dr. Angie Colbeck, Senator/Aerospace Engineer Patrick Colbeck) about the safety of this infrastructure, the bill was passed though the Michigan House Energy Policy Committee.

Context: The meeting recorded in this video was in response to a decision made by the Pittsfield, MA Board of Health to issue a cease-and-desist order against a Verizon cell tower that sickened over a dozen residents. The purpose of the meeting was to revisit information relating to the Board’s decision and to provide greater detail about issues relating to the decision. This was the opening lecture for EMFC (EMF Conference 2019, Scotts Valley, CA) – the first medical conference on health effects of electromagnetic fields to offer continuing medical education to physicians. The conference was the vision of environmental medicine pioneer Dr. William Rea, founder of the Environmental Health Center in Dallas, Texas (USA).
