Hanging the south side upper track rail.
Oh Joy. Oh Rapture Devine.
I have finally gotten the frame mounted on the south side and the track is secure.
Just enough variance in the building frame to make every piece custom made. 😁😎

My apprentice and grandson Oliver has asked to be involved in building the OSW Annex.
He is a smart lad and recognizes that his dad helped setup the frame and put up the siding and roof but Oliver is three and can't do the large jobs. He asked if he could help with the door knob.
What a great idea. Today I am fitting the door knob so Oliver can help me do the actual install. 😁😎

I manage to install the right hand side lower track. With all the trouble i have been creating for my self by working alone I have been building one side at a time. Then I take what I learn from that one and build the second.
This is working well despite all my attempts to have problems. 😁😎

On some dishwashers and on almost all clothes washers there is a hose or hoses feeding water to the machine.
Those hoses have a gasket just like a garden hose fitting. Garden hoses only have cold water. Washers have a least one hose that runs hot water.
The hot water hose gasket can harden and leak as it ages. For less than a quarter a year and as few as 20 minutes every couple years you can replace the gasket with a new one from the local hardware.
If the gasket leaks your house can be ruined. Plasterboard crumbles, carpets shrink, and wallpaper peels just from steam.

I was in the neighborhood again.
This time I found something that I had been looking for.
Menards didn't have any 1/2" threaded adapters. I bought a bunch of 1/2" bell boxes to mount receptacles in. PVC pipe can be threaded but it doesn't work very well.
Surprising to me that the Restore had a hundred or more. Instead of a $1.60 each like the 3/4" fittings that Menards did have they were $,25 each. $13.00 later I have enough to do the whole job.😁😎

This Ideal Door garage door is designed for a wooden building. Adapting it to work with my VersaTube framed building involves adjusting the fastener placement and type. It also requires some additional frame modifications to the building itself.
I am building attachment points for the horizontal track sections because the 6 foot center to center placement of the rafters isn't close enough to mount the 8 foot door track. 😁😎

I have several cameras.
One very nice Canon EO 70D that I keep in the shop and I still managed to knock it over 3 times.
Two Nikons that have been dropped several times each.
And this Canon 20X that I dropped twice. It is a sturdy camera. It cost $10.00 at a garage sale. I used it in hazardous conditions along with the Nikons.
Time for another one.

BC Lawn Maintenance picked up all the leaves in my neighbors yard.
It is nice to have the proper equipment and the manpower to run it.
