1972 week 15
Charlton Heston stars as an aging professional quarterback in the twilight of his career.
Note; ignore the criticism concerning this film as it showcases the trials and tribulations of a championship QB with "no place else to go but down". Also, the criticism Heston faced as "not looking like a professional level QB" is quite ridiculous considering the fact that Tom Brady of the New England Patriots doesn't look anything like a professional QB should look either. This is in fact one of the better films concerning the inner workings of professional football. The only flaw was, Charlton Heston appears to be in better shape than the pot belly Billy Kilmer of whom NFL Films and the director of the film used in place of Heston.
