Reaper can handle all your audio editing needs. However, if you're accustomed to another audio editor and wish to continue using it but require a stable editor for processing plugins such as EQ, compression, and setting loudness within an FX Chain, you can use Audacity (or another audio editor) for initial audio editing, and then complete the audio editing process in Reaper using its FX Chain. This allows you to take advantage of Reaper's stability and plugin processing capabilities using an FX Chain while still using your preferred audio editor. This video demonstrates how to adopt an audio editing strategy of using Audacity (or another audio editor) for the initial audio editing and then finish the audio editing process, including tasks such as noise removal, EQ, compression, setting loudness levels, etc. using Reaper’s FX Chain.

If you work with long documents in LibreOffice Writer, like books, etc., and experience, that paragraphs are not breaking at the bottom of the page, this video will show you a quick and easy way, to change settings in LibreOffice Writer, that allow paragraphs to break at the bottom of the page. Not allowing paragraphs, to break at the bottom of a page, can leave a large white space at the bottom of a page, that has no text, that not only looks wrong, but also waste space in your document, making your document total more pages, than it needs to.

Clapperboards have been an integral part of movie production since the invention of the Clapperboard in the 1920s. Now, there is an Android App that digitally duplicates a physical Clapperboard. The Clapperboard is used to identify each film clip. Also, the sound that the Clapperboard makes, when you slate a Clapperboard, can be used to sync external audio with the video camera audio, as well as syncing videos when filming with multiple cameras.

This tutorial provides demonstrations of both Audacity's Compressor and the TDR Kotelnikov Compressor. Both the Audacity Audio Editor and the TDR Kotelnikov Compressor Plug-In are free to use. Compressing your audio will allow you to change the dynamics of your audio, bringing the loudest parts of the audio closer to the quietest parts of your audio. Proper audio compression techniques will increase perceived loudness, making the audio easier to hear at lower volume levels. Using compression to even out loud and silent parts of audio; will provide a better listening experience by keeping volume levels more even, without extreme high and low volumes; plus produce a much richer, fuller sounding audio.
