Lost for almost fifty years! See this reconstruction of the lost "BOGARD"! Scenes with missing dialogue is in Spanish. Youtube's copyright trolls will hammer this into oblivion for the scenes that were carried over to the film "Black Fist". I am proud to present this to the fans of "Black Fist" for the first time ever!

Please note, I have been given the blessings from the family of the producers to upload this.

It's coming.

A look at the filming during June 8th, 2019. Filming and simultaneous editing is underway. No planned release date scheduled.

Two VFX shots for "Forbidden Island". First shot (with the tank) is complete. Explosions in shot two need placed. Filming and simultaneous editing is underway. No planned release date scheduled.

VFX test shot for "Forbidden Island". Filming and simultaneous editing is underway. No planned release date scheduled.

Since I have the complete end credits on my celluloid print, we will be discarding this copy of them when we make our master. Spanish dubbed VHS tape with Italian end credits, what a crazy combo.

I am tuning the digital file up for the Spanish tape. I went through the process of saving the film as a giant folder of jpeg files (like almost 110k frames in this folder). I am reloading these frames into Vegas and this is the result from 25 fps to 23.976 fps. The English audio from the 1982 Harmony Vision VHS mostly syncs to the video. There is an occasion where it's half a frame or a whole frame off. I just stretch it to distort it to match.

The English portions that are lost are lost, at least until the 46 minute mark where my print starts. There is a jump cut where footage is lost; luckily this footage is on the "Black Fist" cut and can be re-cut back into "Bogard" during this sequence.

This is just the first round to the process of getting "Bogard" restored after being lost for almost fifty years. More work will be underway during this few months/year until I can get the film reels scanned over.
