This petition is to protect everyone🌎🕊
Whilst working at the charity Dogs Trust I raised serious concerns about safety internally.
Many of my colleagues were getting injured, some very seriously including myself.
After raising concerns within a matter of months I'd lost my job.
Trust was seriously damaged, as can be seen on the campaign webpage in my colleagues witness statement from when I asked them for help as I was being dismissed.
The new Chief Executive of Dogs Trust has since apologised to me for what happened whilst I was there (they were not there at the time).
Having spoken to them I now unfortunately believe there is absolutely nothing the Chief Executive will be able to do that will restore trust.
This puts everyone working in the animal rescue sector as well as the general public in danger.
In the petition I've attempted to come up with proposals that, if implemented across the animal rescue sector will hopefully help address this danger.
There is currently NO serious protection in law for whistleblowers. This puts all our lives in danger.
Things desperately need to change.

In the petition I've attempted to come up with proposals that, if implemented across the animal rescue sector will hopefully help address this danger.
There is currently NO serious protection in law for whistleblowers. This puts all our lives in danger.
