A short #mememusic look at self through archetypal image and ontological arrangement.
===
We are made by bad information,
We are lost in a sea of bad information,
We are broken by bad information,
And we are fed bad information
From cradle to grave.
It dominates our output
And it shapes our desires.
Lost Artefact.

The wise
Amongst us
Tell themselves
It has allways been this way.
Could be that they are wrong,
Not so wise
Merely lost to guilt.
And we are Lost Artefacts.

Loss of self / find your self
... Our ability to have a true self, or science, history, math, religion, is lost in a sea of lies, spun by bias and mass, orchestrated by guilt and her agents, and...
We are Dionysian tears.
Lost in a web of lies,
But there is always truth,
And that cannot change.
===

There are many notable quotes thrown throughout the video that reinforce the overarching themes of truth, lies, self, self awareness, and perception of world and other. The most notable is from Charles Bukowski: "If you're losing your soul and you know it, then you've still got a soul to lose."

======

I do not wish to win you over, nor convert you to my world view. I do want to challenge you.

This #mememusic mashup expands on the phrase credited to Mr Burroughs, "Language is a Virus," and gives it a twist with the simple observation that: "The Worst Virus is Bad Language."

Many images and quotes are used, with the most notable being a screenshot of the tweets that the Wuhan whistle blower, AI Fen, tweeted out at the start of the virus, in December of 2019. I also use a famous quote from Chris Hedges. And I make a simple mention of Ernest Jones in his two volume set "Psycho-Myth, Psycho-History" saying that there are three semantic factors in quislingism: Ambiguity, Irony and Synonymity.

And those three factors have been seen abundantly on the left the past few years. e.g. Attacking a black Trump supporter as a white militant; attacking a gay Trump supporter as a homophobe; attacking a Jewish Trump supporter, literally, for being a nazi?! Truly bizarre.

So "Bad Semantics and Major Quisling" is simply about bad language being the worst virus of them all. The images and quotes from William Burroughs fit in nicely with an unpleasent conversation on bad words. And we've built a hell of a world with bad words. Badder words probly won't fix things. Probly often didn't, too; even though at times it seems that it just goes from bad to badder and worser till it can't be worser than it is.

These two audio/video mashups are based off of two different Ray Bradbury theatre episodes.

The first mashup was created from an episode called "Usher II," and has a strong anti book burning theme that is themetically reinforced in my mashup and montage.

The second mashup is called "Dangerous Memory," and is based off of the the Ray Bradbury Theatres' episode titled "The Chicago Abyss," the themes explored in the episode explored a world similar to our current dystopian world;

Bradbury explored ideas of book burning, cancel culture, and fascism, and in these mashups I focus on these themes.

Ray Bradbury remains one of the worlds greatest recognized science fiction authors, and is certainly one of the greatest writers from the 20th century.

Many favorite Ray Bradbury quotes are used in the video mashup, including: "You don't have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them."

Fugetata in clown world is a short onslaught of caustic made 8bit noise with a deluge of memes in music, summed up best as: "downloading informations now going to differing dimensions and thinking more now than then."

The name Fugetata is a combination of toccata and fugue, which is how the music sounded to me at the time I was composing it. Hopefully the noise captures the angst and turmoil of trying to make sense of our 21st century world?

The music was made using the caustic music app for android, and the video makes liberal use of cards from the Illuminati Card game by Steve Jackson games.

The opening quote is: " We shall soon be in a world in which a man may be howled down for saying that two and two make four, in which furious party cries will be raised against anybody who says that cows have horns, in which people will persecute the heresy of calling a triangle a three-sided figure, and hang a man for maddening mob with the news that grass is green.” - G.K.Chesterton

From there the brainwash of modern media, with its angst, anxiety, guilt and turmoil is explored as cards such as a "Plague of Demons," the "Secular Humanists" (as the fool card), and "a Brief Attack of Conscience," are played out in the visuals.

I also briefly use an image of Kevin and Allan the magic goose as an ego/id symbol. The tv series was called Kevin Spencer, and Kevin is the broken head (ego), while Allan is id (a protector of ego; not a very good protector, but he is the best that Kevin has, lol). A great series, and if you've nvr watched it, it is on youtube for free. Highly recommended!

The music is frantic and chaotic, and the video is layered with many images that contribute to the overall meaning. A lot is said in the short 2 minutes that the vid lasts for. Feel free to view more than once, and post your fave quote, meme or image in the comments!

A Murder of Seagulls is a short #mememusic look in to the persecution and groupthink that consumes our current most modern of all possible worlds.

Many images and quotes are used, starting with fbi Director William Casey, and a few choice cards from the illuminati card game add depth to the layout.

The thumbnail uses Davincis' Savator Mundi on the right, while a Livingstone Seagull is placed on the left.

Social 3.0 and the irl world too

A favorite #mediaecho and Blues song to me is: "Grinnin' in Your Face," by Son House.

We are a murder of seagulls, each with our own unique social pressures from our own unique flocks. Son House covered the blues of this long ago in his brilliant song "Grinnin' in Your Face." Highly recommended listening!

A tonepoem and video mashup based on the words of William Burroughs. In this montage the focus is on the genocidal impulses of American Senators, in paricular Senator Briggs and proposition 6, or as Burroughs described it, "a plan to kill 50 million folks."

It is called 21st Century Dirge and even though Burroughs was speaking in 1978, it echos the concerns of today, except instead of hispanics, jews, and gays being planned for death by groupthinking fanaticals, it is freethinking Trump supporters that face persecution from the mob and those who manipulate that leviathon.

The tonepoem is part of my media echos collection:

I made "Drone.i2: search-4-nspace" using the caustic music app and then turned it into a #mememusic video exploring #truth and #relativism by using quotes and memes from Bukowski, Voltaire, and others.

Two quotes start the piece:

1). Jaqcues Derrida: “The poet…is the man of metaphor: while the philosopher is interested only in the truth of meaning, beyond even signs and names, and the #sophist manipulates empty signs…the poet plays on the multiplicity of signifieds.”

2). Jorge Luis Borges: "The visible universe was an illusion or, more precisely, a #sophism. Mirrors and fatherhood are abominable because they multiply it and extend it."

For context, it should be understood that Relativism is the same as Sophism.

Did you ever love someone so much you could not let them go?

This video is based off of a caustic made music composition I called "Ancient Code," and this video montage turned into an ode to one of our greatest writers, Edgar Allan Poe, his wife Mariah Clem Poe, and the image Poe has imbued into the name Lenore, or at least how I am affected by the name. There are overtones of his beatiful poem, Annabelle Lee, also throughout this short Edgar Allan Poe video montage.

The #mememusic video "She Knows, We've nvr been Free" is an original all caustic made instrumental riff that fit nicely in a #mememusic video exploring freedom and slavery, and creativity too.

The vid starts on a quote by Mr Douglass: "You have seen how a man was made a slave. Now you shall see how a slave was made a man."

There is a subtle play visually in the vid on the anima/animus archetype; after all, it is the male and female forces that drives perception, imprinting on the "world ocean;" also reffered to as the human eye.

Thumb and Sub! This short vid takes a look at self, soul and mob using (mostly) the words of the street poet Charles Bukowski.

A few notable quotes in the vid are:

1). If you're losing your soul and you know it, then you've still got a soul left to lose.

2). Beware those who only take instructions from their gods, for they have completely failed to live their own lives.

3). understand me. I'm not like an ordinary world. I have my madness, I live in another dimension and I do not have time for things with no soul.

4). I knew that I was dying.
something in me said,
go ahead, die, sleep, become as
them, accept.
then something else in me said, no,
save the tiniest bit.
it needn't be much.
just a spark.
a spark can set a whole forest on fire.
just a spark.
save it.

5). You have to die a few times before you can really live.

Return to Old Saturn - this musical riff developed into a video montage on information, self awareness, festival, mob, mass and the world's most popular religion: Persecution, Groupthink, and all its attendent superstitions.

The video ends on the idea that: "A history that offends no one in a mass of 7 billion must be further from truth than a history that offends no one in a mass of 10 thousand."

Our world was never simple, and we have always contained dark truth.

In the 1940s the notsees kettled the dark truth, also called the Sol Niger in old alchemy. The megen kettled and contained the beige truth in the 60s and 70s. And now in our world, social 3.0 is consumed by selfless folk terrified of the egg shell white truth.

Persecution, groupthink and superstition has always made a disgusting religion, a ridiculous history, an abomination of law, and a mockery of science, and in the 17th century Voltaire was one head gay enough to notice how disgusting such wretched ritual is, and I've used a quote of his in the video to highlight his timely criticisms of such ignorance.

===
.... if your nurse told you that Ceres presides over corn, or that Vishnu and Xaca have several times taken human form, or that Sammonocodom came to cut down a forest, or that Odin is waiting for you in his hall somewhere in Jutland, or the Mohammed or somebody else made a journey to heaven; if then your tutor drove into your brain what your nurse engraved there, you will keep hold of it for life. Should your judgement seek to rise above these prejudices, your neighbours, above all the woman will scream impiety and frighten you. Your Dervish, fearing to see his income diminished, accuses you to the cadi, and his cadi has you impaled if he can, because he wants to command fools, and believes that fools obey better than others. And that will last until your neighbors, the dervish and the Cadi begin to understand that folly is worthless and persecution abominable.

Other heads, though not as gay as Voltaire in perspective, also confronted "dark truth" in the 17th century.

Johnathan Swift is another such head, well worth reading. He confronted sophist philosophy in the 17th. It should be noted, Swift was not gay in his perspective like Voltaire, or for that matter, the gay Davinci, or the gay Socrates.

Mr Swift noted the 2 loons of his time in many articles and reffered to them as Wigs and Tories, which is still in use today in many countries, but it really only means Right or Left. In Mr Swifts' "Tale of a Tub," he discusses the 2 loons in a religious sense, creating 3 brothers in charge of following a good fathers dying wish. Paul (Catholic), Jack (Protestant), and little brother Martin (Lutheran). The book was an answer to the tome of sophism and a priori delight called "Leviathon," written by the idiot Hobbes.

Brother Paul is the elder, wracked with guilt, rules the wealth, knows theres always been lies to hold our shipwreck together, and has come to believe the most absurd of lies with the greatest arrogance.

Brother Jack is the protestant on the street corner telling you how to walk your woman, willing to take a beating at your hands and for your benefit like a cheek turner in masochistic ecstasy. Truth is but a whore and used to control others. There is no interest in his own wrong, similar to brother Paul. Very sophist the 2.

Brother Martin is different from his 2 elder brothers, and connects with real time, unlike his brothers.

"Tale of a Tub" is a marvelous book, and well worth reading.

In 1938 Erich Fromm published "Escape from Freedom," a look at notsee psychology in nazi germany, and Mr Fromm used the words sophism and relativism interchangeably when talking of gobbels and hitler. In 1969 he does similar when discussing Carl Jungs system in his book "Psychoanlysis and Religion."

But perhaps I have simplified?

A short poem to convolute my previous statements:

We are slender things
. Held between the twain;
Deceit destroys us,
. And truth consumes us.

"Empty Your Mind" is my own poetic take on Bruce Lees' short talk about water.

In this video I've blended visual elements and quotes from Dr. Masaru Emoto, Ray Bradbury, and others to explore the nature of water and its relation to consciousness.

Feel free to comment on you favorite quote or meme that you see in this video and remember to thumb if you liked!

Mythology In Illud Tempus is a short visual and musical montage on time, media, dimension and mind.

Observations on the differences between Book Culture and Tv Culture are explored, including the values and consciousness formed from the media used.

Ideas of connecting with group time, mythological time, versus real time is a point made against a poignant backdrop of Charles #Bukowski quotes and images.

No salvation, just observation in exploration of the Illud Tempus in our media and dimension.

(Illud Tempus is a nod to Platos influence; but I prefer the phrase in illo tempore, from Mircea Eliade).

'Cross Alien Landscapes visually explores the troubling topic of "alienation" in self and in society by quote, image and meme.

The opening quote is: "Alienation and loneliness plant the seeds for rebellion and consciousness" - B. W. Powe.
