More Info About Pokemon GO's GO Fest Ultra Unlock Bonuses:

Ultra Unlock details

As is tradition with Pokémon GO Fest events, we’re excited to unveil details on this year’s Ultra Unlock bonus! Throughout day one of Pokémon GO Fest 2020, Trainers will have 32 global challenges they can work together to complete in the Global Challenge Arena. Every eight challenges that are collectively completed will unlock one additional Ultra Unlock event week, up to a total of three events. When Pokémon GO Fest 2020 begins, you’ll be able to track Global Challenge Arena progress in the Today View.

Here’s what you can expect for each Ultra Unlock week. * Ultra Unlock Week One: Dragon Week * Ultra Unlock Week Two: Enigma Week * Ultra Unlock Week Three: Unova Week

Ultra Unlock Week One: Dragon Week

If Trainers complete eight global challenges, they’ll unlock Dragon Week. The majestic Dragon-type Pokémon come in all shapes and sizes, from the tiny Gible to the towering Alolan Exeggutor, and this week will be their time to shine! Dragon Week will run from Friday, July 31, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Friday, August 7, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7).

In today's video I break down the announcement regarding the Global Go Fest that will be taking place this summer:

https://pokemongolive.com/en/post/pokemongofest2020/

"Trainers,

In 2019, our Pokémon GO Fest lineup was bigger and better than ever before. That summer, we held more than one Pokémon GO Fest in the same year for the first time ever! Chicago, Dortmund, and Yokohama hosted individual Pokémon GO Fest events that, in total, brought together over 600,000 Trainers for a special summer of live events.

This year, we’re bringing you a totally reimagined Pokémon GO Fest experience. Save the dates: on July 25 and 26, Pokémon GO Fest 2020 will take place as an entirely global event in a virtual format, which will allow Trainers worldwide to participate from wherever they play. In another first, all ticket holders will be able to attend both days of this two-day event.

While we’ll miss the traditional congregation of Pokémon GO fans, we’re thrilled to bring a special Pokémon GO Fest experience to Trainers. Not only are you in for an exciting weekend of bonuses, Pokémon encounters, and Special Research, there will also be exciting ways to connect with other Trainers and experience other fun surprises throughout the entire summer."

More info on Remote Raiding and Remote Raid Passes:

With a Remote Raid Pass, Trainers can join any Raid Battle that's on the Nearby screen or tappable from the Map View.

Remote Raid Passes can be purchased from the Shop, and occasionally there may be special events that include Remote Raid Passes as a reward. If you have 3 or more Remote Raid Passes in your bag, you will not be able to acquire more.

How to Join a Raid Remotely
There are 2 ways to join a Raid remotely:

Tap the Nearby button at the bottom right of the Map View and select the “Raid” tab. For any Raid Battles listed, tap “View” below the raid you would like to join to access the raid.

You can also tap any Gym with an ongoing Raid Battle on your Map View.

Once you’ve accessed the raid you’d like to join remotely, you’ll see a pink button that lets you join the Raid Battle using a Remote Raid Pass. Exchange your pass for entry into the raid.

Up to 5 Trainers can join the same raid lobby with a Remote Raid Pass, though this number may be temporarily adjusted during specified time periods. If you try to join a Raid Battle remotely and 5 other Trainers have already joined remotely, you will be added to a new lobby. Avatars of Trainers joining remotely have a different appearance in the lobby.

Battling in a Raid Remotely
Like in raids joined in person, Trainers raiding remotely can select the Pokémon they wish to use and invite others within range..
