"St. John's Night on the Bare Mountain" an orchestral piece written by Russian composer Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky in 1867 A.D. Inspired by Ukrainian novelist Nikolay Gogol’s short story “St. John’s Eve.” Mussorgsky did not live to see his composition published and passed away in 1881 A.D. Mussorgsky's contemporary Nikolay Rimsky-Korsakov took on his work and completed Night on the Bare Mountain, rearranging the score and publishing it in Paris in 1887 A.D.

"Flight of the Bumblebee" written by Russian composer Nikolai Rimsky Korsakov from the four-act opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan, composed in 1899 A.D. based upon the 1831 poem of the same name written by Russian poet Aleksandr Pushkin.

"Morning mood in the desert" from Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg's classic work 'Peer Gynt'. Written in 1875 A.D. and retroactively added to Henrik Ibsen's play of the same name.

Carmen, a four-part opera written by French composer Georges Bizet. Carmen was first performed by the Opéra-Comique in Paris on March 3rd 1875 A.D.

"Winter" one of four violin concerti from the work "Four Seasons" created by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi between 1720 and 1723. His compositions were Inspired by landscape paintings made by Italian artist Marco Ricci. Vivaldi later published the "Four Seasons" concerti years after they were written, in Amsterdam in 1725 A.D.

"The Valkyrie" the second of four symphonic dramas composed by German composer Richard Wagner that comprise his work "The Ring of the Nibelung". The opera first performed in sequence at the Festspielhaus in Bayreuth, Bavaria, Germany, starting on August 13th and ending the event on August 17th, 1876 A.D.

"Daphnis and Chloe" a ballet piece composed by French composer Maurice Ravel, premiering on June 8th, 1912 A.D. Inspired from the classic Greek coming-of-age drama "Daphnis and Chloe" written by the famed Greek storyteller known only as Longus in the 2nd century A.D.

Air

"Air" or "Celebrated Air" is the 2nd movement of "Orchestral Suite No. 3" created by German composer Johann Sebastian Bach in 1723 A.D. Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 3 was modified for use on a violin's string G by August Ferdinand Wilhelmj, considered Germany's greatest violinist, the resulting arrangement has become known as "Air".

"Moonlight" by French composer Achille-Claude Debussy. The third piece in Suite bergamasque, a four-movement composition originally written for piano in 1905 A.D. Inspired by the poem "Clair de lune" written by French poet Paul Verlaine three decades prior.

A classic composition of the famous German composer Ludwig van Beethoven, premiering in Vienna on May 7th, 1824 A. D.

"In The Hall Of The Mountain King" this piece was created by Norwegian composer Edvard Greig in 1875 A.D. Edvard had already created this score which was taken from his 23rd opus and later added to the sixth scene of act II of Henrik Ibsen's 1867 Norse folk play "Peer Gynt".

"Jupiter, the bringer of jollity" from the suite "The Planets", created by English composer Gustav Theodore Holst in 1916 A.D. As a music teacher Holst is credited with the rediscovery of traditional English musical forms that have influenced many schools of music ever since.

The Waltz of the Flowers, an orchestral piece from act II of the ballet "The Nutcracker". The score of which was created by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1892 A.D.

An iconic score by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in commemoration of the opening of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow and by extension the defeat of Napoleon in 1812 A.D. Tchaikovsky's piece is perceived by many as an auricular statement of independence.

"The Lark Ascending" by English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams, first performed in London on June 14, 1921 A.D. Sharing the title of a George Meredith poem that inspired Williams to compose the piece.

"On the Beautiful Blue Danube" by Austrian composer Johann B. Strauss II, composed in 1866 A.D.

The seventh piece of the Romantic French composer Camille Saint-Saëns entitled "Aquarium", from the classic suite "The Carnival of the Animals".

"Hope in any other" a 40-part Renaissance motet by English composer Thomas Tallis composed in 1570 A.D.
