So yeah, just 7 months after having its HDMI controller repaired, its only gone and happened AGAIN... in 7 MONTHS!
Gah, probably still can't request a full replacement or even a refund and will HAVE to be repaired the same way, shipped out to Microsoft then back again, taking two weeks. Sucky.
And I do not have the funds to buy an Xbox One S 1Tb as a temporary replacement, which means 100% of my Xbox One LPs will be on indefinite hold.
So, I only have PC, Switch and Xbox 360.. and Wii U... and Dreamcast. But since like 90% of my LPs are on Xbox One, then it's a massive disaster.
A new tech unboxing video? Well, the VIDEO is new but the tech isn't... however, the tech is new to me so that counts as well.
I bid on this HD60 on eBay to replace my old AVerMedia LGP Lite. I won it for £65 which isn't too bad really.
My original intention was to get the HD60 Pro, the PCIe version, but this was out of my budget. So this will do me until I can afford the Pro then I'll sell this HD60.
** SPEAKERS SOLD ON GUMTREE **
So eventually, after messaging Creative Support for about a day, I was finally able to get these speakers working again.
I was sent a Firmware Upgrade tool, that only Creative Support can provide, and it was able to repair the bodged firmware upgrade that had originally rendered the speakers bricked.
Once this occurred, I had a fully working set of Kratos S5 Speakers! That is, after I also replaced the broken components. They included a capacitor, potentiometer, switch and a stereo RCA jack mount.
Thankfully these are all generic components which fit the speaker motherboard perfectly.
I'm not sure I'm going to keep them, as I still prefer the cheaper Kratos S3 Speakers, so I'll most likely be placing them on eBay, this time as fully working, fully complete speakers instead of faulty ones!
My Let's Plays on consoles may end up being on indefinite hiatus due to continued faults and failures with my current capture device.
As a result, I may end up selling my device and purchasing a replacement. However, the replacement devices are far more expensive than what I could ever get for my current one. This is what could lead up to the delayed Let's Plays.
As per usual, you are all welcome to help aid me with the purchase of a new capture device via PayPal and Patreon, but again, it's not mandatory.
My capture device suggestions are:
Elgato Game Capture HD (original)
Elgato Game Capture HD60
AVerMedia Live Gamer Mini
AVerMedia Live Gamer Portable 2
AVerMedia Live Gamer HD 2 (Preferred, PCIe connection)
They are in the £120-£150 price bracket.
Thanks for watching and thanks for any assistance you can/may provide.

I am a Let's Player, who currently has a few too many games on the go. I mostly game on the Xbox One X and PC, with the Xbox 360 and Dreamcast also getting some attention. And since receiving a Nintendo Switch from my girlfriend, expect videos on that as well.
There will be many retro games as well from older consoles. These will likely be emulated on PC if I do not have the specific console (or there is no way to capture them).
