The wind direction is changing every 2 seconds.

I had to work the stick.
I had to keep a higher speed to avoid and speed dips during gusts
The front wheel took it's time to come down.

Steep takeoff

Taking the Ultralight Quicksilver Sport S2 for a spin to test the CloudAhoy service.
It is a small app you start in you mobile phone that collect and stores data: altitude, location, speed. It is then matched with other data centrally and and even matched in with external video. It gives you a lot of interesting information about your flight and you can review and analyze your flight in details after. You can practice capability in holding hight, speed and direction.
You turn it on at start and off after landing. When you get home you login into their webpage and tata.... there is your flight.

I'm a beginner and I find it useful.

Practice of emergency landing with a Quicksilver Sport S2. Downwind with 180 degrees turn to get into upwind.

Right downwind, 300 feet, 50 Mph
Engine set to idle, sharp down pitch and turn right
At first the speed might drop to 30 mph, I push pitch down, the speed increase to 50 mph.
