A side-scrolling beat'em up (punctuated with occasional shoot'em up sections) in which one or more players take on the role of either Captain America, Iron Man, Vision, or Hawkeye as they prepare to do battle with Red Skull and his henchmen. Each player character has a different weapon or power that can be used throughout the game to assist them in combat. Captain America uses his shield, Iron Man uses his repulsor rays, Vision uses his solar beam and Hawkeye uses his bow and arrows. There are also additional superheroes such as Quicksilver, Sub-Mariner, Wonder Man, and The Wasp who appear at certain points in the game to assist the player characters. Some of the super-villain foes that await the heroes are Klaw, The Living Laser, Whirlwind, The Grim Reaper, The Wizard, The Controllers, The Mandarin, The Juggernaut (from X-Men), Ultron and Crossbones. The game consists of all five stages.

Usually, you would see the videos and all the goodies before the gamethrough starts. However, I will do that, but at a later date.

Argos no Senshi (Rygar in North America) is a horizontally-scrolling hack 'n' slash game set 4.5 billion years after the Earth’s creation, in which the player takes on the role of the Legendary Warrior, a previously dead warrior who has risen from the grave to try to defeat King Ligar, an evil villain who has taken over the land of Argos.

The hero's weapon is the Diskarmor; a spinning blade on the end of a chain. When using Diskarmor, the player has two types of attack available: a left or right 'fling' attack or a circular motion attack. The latter attack is activated by pressing the attack button and UP on the joystick and is useful for attacking flying enemies or enemies positioned above the hero.

During the game, players can acquire five special power icons to assist them with their attacks. These are:
* Star Power Icon: Provides a longer chain to hit the enemy from a greater distance, almost covering the width of the screen.
* Crown Power Icon: Provides the hero with a stronger Diskarmor to hit multiple enemies with a single attack.
* Tiger Power Icon: Provides the ability to jump on any enemies except Death and kill them instantly. Jumping on the heads of some characters will award bonus points.
* Cross Power Icon: Provides a temporary shield lasting from 10 to 45 seconds.
* Sun Power Icon: Allows players to fire the Diskarmor vertically upwards, offering more precision when attacking enemies situated above the hero.

As well as the performance ratings, the temple areas also offer a clue to the next round. An example of this can be seen at the end of round 01; above the temple area is clue suggesting that players will find at least one Screen Bomb in Round 02.

As well as the five power icons, other artifacts can also be found hidden inside stones, trees, the ground and other objects. To find these items players must either shoot them or jump at a specific location to reveal them. The items include:
* Repulse Stone: These are either shot out of lava pits or hidden inside stones. They add to the player's repulse bonus, which increases based on the number of enemies killed.
* Small Gem: Found inside any object and worth 500 points
* Large Gem: Found inside any object but only after the player has collected four of the five power-ups and is worth 1,000 points.

Unlike many games in the genre, Argos no Senshi has no end-of-level boss fights. After successfully completing each of the game's 27 rounds, the hero will visit a temple area to have their performance rated and, if they were good enough, earn a promotion in rank.

The players 'repulse' bonus, timer bonus and rank is calculated. A repulse bonus of 130 will see the player promoted to Rank Two. To reach Rank Three, an additional repulse bonus of 240 - bringing the total to 370 - is needed. From hereon, to achieve Ranks Four, Fix, Six and BEST, players will need to earn an additional 250 repulse bonus points for each Rank.

As well as the performance ratings, the temple areas also offer small clues to the next round. An example of this can be seen at the end of round 01; above the temple area is clue suggesting that players will find at least one Screen Bomb in Round 02.

- TRIVIA -
Rygar was released in May 1986.
The differences between the US and Japanese (Argus no Senshi) are : * The demo sequences are different. * The Japanese version seems to have more hidden powers, stars and an extra free life. * The US version is more biased towards stars and explosions.

I had never played the Japanese version of these games, except for DoDonPachi Daioujou, Muchi Muchi Pork, Daethsmiles, Mushihime Sama and other Bullet Hell games, but one day, I will play the Japanese version of Rygar and explore other possibilities with other games as well. Please, be patient on this. And yes, this was hard, I died and I haven't been playing my games in a couple of months, so I'm very rusty.

The King of Fighters 2002: Challenge to Ultimate Battle is a one-on-one fighting game for one or two players and is the ninth game in the series.

The game discarded the 4-on-4 "Striker Match" format used in the previous three games in the series and returned to the 3-on-3 Battle format used prior to "King of Fighters '98".

The King of Fighters 2002 also revamped the Power Gauge system into a format similar to the one used in KOF '97. As with previous games in the series, the Power Gauge is filled as the player attacks their opponent or performs Special Moves. The number of Power Gauges the player can stock up is increased by one with each member of the team. For example, the first member of the team can stock up to three Power Gauges, while the third member can stock up to five.

A single Power Gauge stock can be used to either perform a Counter-attack and evasion technique while guarding against an opponent's attack, to use a Super Special Move, or to initiate the MAX Activation state. The same case also applies to the 1-on-1 format, in which the Power Gauge the player can stock up is also increased by one with each round loss (for example, on the first round, the player can stock up to three Power Gauges, while losing two rounds allows the player to stock up to five).

During MAX Activation, the player's offensive and defensive strength is increased for a short period. In this state, a Super Special Move can be used without consuming Power Gauge stock. There are also MAX Super Special Moves, which are Super moves that can only be performed during MAX Activation with one Power Gauge stock, and MAX2 moves, that require two stocks while low on health.

A hilarious basketball game featuring customizing team names and colors. A full game consists of 4 quarters, with 4 minutes each. Each team has 2 players, and the objective of the game is to outscore the opponent until the final buzzer sounds.

If the game results in a tie after 4 quarters, a sudden death overtime period is added, in which case the next basket to go in will win the game for the team who scored it. The overtime period is 1 minute long. A player can call for his teammate to pass him the ball or to shoot it.

There are 8 characters that the player can play as, each with a unique characteristic. They are:
* Blade : A crowd pleaser.
* Hammer : Rebound king.
* Lewis : Top shooter.
* Mohawk : Tough & mean.
* Moose : A real champ.
* Reggie : All-American.
* Tyrone : Defensive giant.
* Vinnie : A great player.

Arch Rivals was released in May 1989.

It was one of the first sports games to gain popularity among its players. The game billed itself as a 'Basket Brawl'.

Tyrone was one of the heroes of the cartoon titled the 'Power Team'.

An Arch Rivals unit appears in the 1991 movie 'Terminator 2 - Judgment Day', and in the 1990 sitcom 'Parker Lewis Can't Lose'; Season 1, Episode 19 (Citizen Kube).

I play Moose (not to be confused with Big Moose by Archie Comics) as Brawl State takes on Natural High, enjoy the video. Please, support me by referring your friends to watch and download my videos and help out BitChute as much as you can. No donation too big, and no donation too small.

A research installation developing the next-generation of Metal Slugs is attacked by unknown forces and a disk containing Metal Slug secrets is stolen. Ordered to recover the disk, Marco and Tarma follow in hot pursuit. Meanwhile, Eri and Fio, investigating the Ptolemaic Army, a paramilitary syndicate active in archeological excavation, catch up with them at an ancient ruin, 'The Corridor of Fire'. The two try to storm and seize the site but are repulsed by the natives and giant Metal Slugs. This incident proves it was the Ptolemaic Army that stole the Metal Slug secrets. The military subsequently launches a second raid by the elite PF squad and Sparrows on the 'The Corridor of Fire' to recover the secrets and destroy the syndicate!!!

This is Def Jam House Party, a Jerky classic game based off of Mappy by Namco. You are Lil Willy G, the brave micro civilian. Lil Willy G's mission is to retrieve all of the stolen treasure from the Cold D gangstas. They've stashed all of the loot in their leader's mansion which contains several floors, and numerous trampolines that the gangsters like to use to travel between stories. Lil Willy G must keep away from the gang and collect all items in the house before moving on to the next house. If Lil Willy G is caught by a gangsta, he loses a life. Lil Willy G also loses a life if he crashes to the floor by breaking through a trampoline or falling into a pitfall. When all of Lil Willy G's lives are lost, the game is over.

Houses have six floors, and some houses in later rounds have an attic. Lil Willy G gets to the different floors by jumping on a trampoline. Like Mappy, he can jump three times on a trampoline, but the fourth time will break it. Once Lil Willy G moves onto a floor, he can jump on the trampoline another three times.

When Lil Willy G jumps on the trampoline, he will go to the top floor of the house unless you push the joystick left or right to move him onto a particular floor. You can move Lil Willy G onto a floor as he's on the way up, but not on the way down.

Sisko, the gang leader, does not chase Lil Willy G. Instead he moves around in a zigzag pattern. He also like to hide for a few seconds behind a treasure. Please, enjoy this attract mode of this game.

Now then, here's one of Mark's Hacks, this game is called "Marpy." It's Mario in the land of Mappy, the Micro Police. Instead of Goro and the Mewkies, you have fireballs and Koopas as your enemies. Personally in my opinion, I think Jerky's hacks did it much cleaner.

Welcome to no holds barred hockey brought to you by the Video Hockey League. It's the Reds versus the Blues, the VHL's biggest rivalry. The same hockey rules apply, pass the puck around around the ice rink and shoot it past the opposite goalie to score. You can also check your opponent just like real hockey, only each character has their own bone-crushing way of checking, each with maximum impact and zero tolerance for your well-being. Players can also start fights with one another to really spice things up. For an additional credit, players can purchase a "power drink" that will make them "Skate Faster and Shoot Harder" at the start of the period for one minute. Now get to the action and DROP THAT PUCK!

Shock Troopers pits the players against a mighty terrorist group who are holding a girl hostage, in order to force her grandfather to surrender a powerful drug which will enable the terrorists to control the minds of the grandfather's soldiers and create a huge, unstoppable army.

Shock Troopers is a multi-directional scrolling shoot-em-up for one or two players that builds upon the foundations laid by Capcom's 1985 classic, "Commando (Capcom)" and also borrows heavily from Commando's sequel, '"Mercs". As well as enemy troops, players must contend with tanks, choppers and assorted military vehicles, and must also be careful to avoid any of the landmines that litter the levels. Extra weapons and health can be picked up from destroyed enemy vehicles, as well as being found in enemy supply crates. Shock Troopers is effectively three games in one as players can chose one of three different routes; each made up of different levels. The game also offers greater variety of gameplay than other of the genre; with levels having the players travel on the back of fast moving vehicles, climbing a rock face etc.
