We were lucky enough to spend three nights at Railay Beach just after Christmas 2020. The place is empty (due to lock down) in comparison to other videos I have seen of the beach around the same time of year. The hotel we stayed at was the "Railay Bay Resort and Spa", the jacuzzi villa was amazing. Beautiful place.... :)

A beautiful walk around the Emerald Pool (Sa Morakot) forest and rivers. It was incredabily quiet that day as tourist were still being denied entry in to Thailand due to the lock down. The walk itself took about two hours, but I have compressed this down to 11 minutes. If you're ever in the area please do yourself a relaxing faviour and visit this park. Kap Khun Krab

A great afternoon boating on the Red Lotus lake, highly recommended. This lake is around 45 minutes south of Udon Thani by car.
