Those who control your eyeballs control your brain. Take the red pill and get woke by Master Leary.

This is a video version of a lecture that Timothy Leary used to give near the end of his life. In 1993 (and only a few years before his death), the former Harvard psychology professor recorded "a public service video" called How to Operate Your Brain. Here, Leary narrates an almost epileptic seizure-inducing video, providing a guided meditation of sorts.

His descriptions of the video in his own words best state the purpose of the video. "You might catch yourself sliding in and out of a hallucinatory state after this is all over, if you do just relax and enjoy it. This is an experiment in mind formation. Information informing and controlling and operating your mind and your brain, using digital techniques to overload, to scramble and confuse and unfocus your mind." - Leary

The video is a kaleidoscope of colors and flashing images supplied by "Retinalogic". Despite the hallucinatory late 80's early 90's style visuals this video is not about drug use. This video makes use of fractals and psychedelic imagery to "deprogram" ones mind.

"In the Sixties we said 'Power to the People'.... in the Nineties we say 'Power to the Pupil'."

In this video, Leary himself advocates a form of Humanism and places his aims in the lineage of Socrates, Marshall McLuhan and Ralph Waldo Emerson. Leary suggest that we think for ourselves and question authority.
