I tried playing this sometime last year and I didn't get through it all on camera, so I'm playing Shadowrun: Hong Kong again. This time as a human decker. Her name is Gwen Bishop and her streetname is R00k. You know, like the chess piece. Anyways, she arrived in Hong Kong to look for her foster father and met up with her brother Duncan Wu and now there's an APB out on them because of corporate conspiracy, so they must go on the run with Gobbet and Is0bel and avoid sniper fire. Isn't that fun?
Dungeons of Dredmor is a roguelike made by some Swedes whose comany went out of business sometime after developing this game. it's kind of the meme game of roguelikes, if you don't count SLEX. You play an adventurer who goes out to defeat the lich Dredmor and you can build your character however you want by selecting what skills you want, such as Blood Magic, Psionics, or Necronominomics. I went splat twice on two runs that ended on the initial level, but whatever, that's fine. I felt like showing this game to you all, so I hope that's okay.
Splat goes the Conjurer. We went down a level or two more and managed to get out of one tight situation by turning into a tree, but then we found a pretty decent randart sword and I should have taken that as a sign that things were going to get real pretty quick. But I didn't. Lo and behold, next level we turn into a tree again and get smote by a two-headed ogre when we should have just used blink to escape from the killer bees we turned into a tree to defend against. I am getting better, but it is indeed a work in progress.
My daughter Ann goes on a date with Aspar, who can talk to pigeons apparently. Now she's three-timing her boyfriend, if that is a thing. Anyways, she also got invited to Manga-Fest by her new pal Sayori, who is a massive weeaboo, so apparently she's going to come home with some hentai in August. Also the beach house, she helps out Kuki at that and sees a mermaid again, then talks to a ghost at a test of courage. She's almost mastered the art of painting, so that's fun. When she's done I hope she will master cooking too.
This game was made as an April Fool's joke several years ago and is about a guy with a suit that is made out of a GMO starfish whose bar gets burnt down by a disgruntled robot employee. He must go around a sky city fighting titans - giant robots with parts that break away when you shoot them. It's kind of a bullet hell FPS and there is no porn of any kind in it. I like this game and I might play other Dejobaan games at some point. I know they made a Katamari clone, so that should be cool to play.
Oh boy, I do love the RNG. It's very unfair sometimes. So, we manage to clear the Scintilating Caves but then a level 26 elven corruptor spawns in the Rhaloren Camp and after being BTFO'd three times I take Etaal the Halfing Solipsist out of there. Before that I go over what mods I have installed, so be sure to check that part out. Anyways, then we go to the Thaloren starting areas, whose names I never really remember. Heart of the Gloom and Norgo's Lair? I think that's it. Also we deal with the Cursed and I share some of my hot takes on some things, so that's fun. We'll go to the Old Forest and probably get BTFO'd by something there next time.
Three Chimera Scholars go splat in under 20 minutes. This is how you don't play Caves of Qud, am I right? Anyways, we started at a hill village each time, because that was kind of fun. We died pretty short and humiliating deaths too, and only reached level two at most. I am very bad at this game, and I am so sorry about that. But at least I can show you what not to do, am I right?

It's Summertime in Fatbottom and the humans have come to trade. We get more leather and cloth than Armok, as well as more meat, cheese, fruit and drink. Then a werebuffalo attacks and all it takes is one Axe Lord to take them out. And we make it to the underground caverns and do battle with some troglodytes too. And people have started coming to the tavern, The Hot Sister, so that's fun.
Ann meets Gateaeu in Hell and this time he loses his other arm, so theoretically he shouldn't be able to fight anymore. At the moment this leads Ann to the leader of the Hell rebellion, Waffel the Wretched, who she eliminated rather quickly. Now she has access to the Heaven realm, which has both High Fat Milk and angels that want to impede Ann's progress. Also Michiru is jealous that Ann is dating her childhood friend, so she's being petty right now.
Here comes a Halfling Solipsist and a lot of rambling and a couple new mods, one of which apparently gives me way too many points to spend on attributes and talents. I didn't expect it to give me this many. I don't know, I could get used to this level of Autism. Starter areas are the same as a Cornac or Higher though, so not much else to do other than go through Trollmire, the Arena, and Kor'Pul without a single escort showing up. Not that we needed one.
Oh boy, we manage to get a chance to talk to the Whyrme, and they make the hermit flash blue for some reason. Then we harvest our garden and dry the flowers so that the hermit can cast some spells and have an increased health pool. Next, we go to Void 1, which is a bloodbath filled with pink demons and cans being thrown at us, and we learn that we can fly if we use the Summon Thing spell, which helps in meeting new people, like the Can Man, and getting more Shoules and keys and such. We break into the church and the 24 Hour Eats place and feed several of the Shoules, but we don't stop the apocalypse. Oh well, maybe next time.
Christof meets Pink, a Brujah, and he shows him the ropes regarding life in the 20th century. They gear up and go to a brothel run by Clan Setite and meet a Toreador named Lily who is under the effects of a blood bond provided by Lucretia, the Setite who owns the brothel and runs a smuggling business in London. I can't find the entrance to their temple though, so that's fun that will have to wait for another time.
Turns out the developer of Infra Arcana has been releasing updates to Github, so here we are with the latest version as of recording, the July 13th 2018 build of Infra Arcana. Occultists have to specialize in a domain now, and there are more new spells to try out and learn. Still plenty of horrible ways to die though.
Beta 1.3 has been out for a while and I've been contemplating playing Stardew Valley again as a result. And so here we are at Haven Farm. We've got some mods installed and that's a good thing. Unfortunately as I found out when I went to record part 2, most of the ones I wanted to use aren't updated to work with the beta, so it's mostly vanilla but with a few mods, so that's fun. Let's grow crops and waifu Abigail because she is best Stardew to Valley.
It's Ann's sweet sixteen, and she wants a Reference Book. My daughter is a bookworm. Then she meets Aspar, who does not know what a swing is for some reason. Probably because he's from another world. Then school starts up again and Ann becomes Student Council Secretary. Also she masters Dancing and takes up Cooking, then immediately wants to cook dinner. Cube is not pleased by this.
