The oldest bit of Jpop Idol music I've taken a look at! Pink Lady were idol icons of their time from 1976-1980. They are a group that I've been looking to do a review of their music for years - about as long as I've made the transition from doing exclusively metal reviews to Jpop/Jrock reviews. Now, here I am, finally reviewing them! It's not a proper album as its their 1995 2-disk compilation album but that's OK! What do you think about Pink Lady? Let me know in the comments below!

There are over 800,000 of these that were sold, does Morning Musume's 3rd -Love Paradise- live up to those sales numbers???

Went to Hard Off recently and found some great, old idol CDs for an irresistible price! This is one of them: Morning Mususme's second album, Second Morning!

Here we are again! This time with a, hopefully, publicly available version of this video I originally uploaded back in December. Just in time for Momoclo's 12th anniversary!!!

Momoiro Christmas 2010 in Nihon Seinenkan Dappi is one of my all-time favorite Momoiro Clover live concerts, and it is also an important one for Momoclo insofar as it is their first ever live concert that saw a DVD/Blu-Ray release. Nihon Seinenkan, at the time, was a venue that had an audience capacity of 1300 people, and despite Momoclo still being a smaller group, only 2 years into their career, they managed to sell out tickets for the venue within minutes of making them available. This was also Momoclo's first ever one-man live, meaning that they were the headlining act. Momoclo's management made the most out of what they could with the limited venue compared to what they have been able to do since then. However, this adds a level of charm to this live which is not seen much anymore, especially in recent Momoclo concerts, including the ones in the-still ongoing Momoiro Christmas series.

This is my look at this concert from a perspective that I think is safe to say is uniquely my own- as someone who has seen this close to 50 times or so since 2014 when I first found it. I attempt to unpack why I enjoy it so much and maybe it will be enough to persuade others to see it as well if they haven't already? Anything's possible, I guess. But in any event, I hope you enjoy the video. I suspect that this will probably be among the shorter ones in the series... and it's still 47 minutes long. Oops.

Yes, again, I know!
(Hopefully) Good stuff will be coming soon!

Wow, this time I REALLY embarrass myself...

So I got this idea since there are only 5 of them, that it would be cool to rank Momoclo's pre-Z singles from "worst" to best! Do my picks surprise you? How would you rank them? Comment your thoughts below!

Episode 2 of my series, and in true George Lucas style, it's the darkest chapter!

Got around to it!

Where have I been for almost 2 months??

This is another video I recorded semi-sick but I wanted to expand on something I said in an earlier video when I said that Kanako was lit. I feel like Kanako has been channeling her weird side more and more through the years, and while she can always be on the more serious side, the fact that she seems more comfortable with doing some of the weird things she's done I think is one of the things that makes her amazing! That and, of course, I find her weirdness relatable... Hope you enjoy!

This is the first video in my new series where I look at every one of Momoiro Clover Z's Momoiro Christmas release from 2010 until the present! This follows the live commentary I uploaded of this live. This is a look at Momoiro Clover's first Christmas live which took place on December 24, 2010.

For the last 6 years or so, my YouTube channel has been, in some way, related to looking at and reviewing Japanese music. Sometimes I also review film- but that's seldom a thing. I take influence in my content from a number of different sources that are too many to describe- but it's likely that you'll probably notice at least one from watching my videos. In any event, I hope you enjoy whatever content I decide to upload here. Most likely it'll be content that I'm not sure how the content ID system on YouTube will react to since I make reviews of Japanese entertainment, and using clips usually ends up getting videos blocked worldwide since Japanese companies are more protective of their intellectual properties than in the west- even if it isn't even their intellectual property... but I digress.
You can probably expect my more heavily produced content on here. I think that's all what people expect or care about anyway so that shouldn't be an issue. The frequency at which I will upload that content, however, has yet to be seen but we'll see what happens.
