"The Regata OS 24 'Arctic Fox' is now available for download. This update brings the new KDE Plasma 6 graphical environment and more improvements and fixes to applications. Under the hood, the users will find Linux kernel 6.7, which is combined with Mesa 24 to better support new hardware. To further improve the user experience, Regata OS applications have also received some visual changes, including improvements to the dark theme, rounded corners and other changes to the color scheme. Additionally, OnlyOffice is now installed by default. This office application suite comes with all the essential features and can be used to create text documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDF files and forms. The KDE Plasma 6 is the newest series of the popular Linux graphics environment. This is a launch that has a flurry of changes, improvements and new features."
Regata OS is a Brazilian Linux distribution based on openSUSE, focusing on desktop and gaming needs. Its main characteristics include a Regata OS store for installing applications and games, out-of-the-box integration with Google Drive, support for a gaming mode via the Vulkan graphics API, an extensive library of games in the Regata OS Game Access portal, support for configuration of hybrid graphics in notebooks, and easy transfer of files between a computer and a smartphone. The distribution's user interface is KDE Plasma.

"Some highlights of this release: A keymap selector is now shown in LightDM on XFCE images. The chrony NTP daemon is now enabled by default in live images. Raspberry Pi images can now be installed on non-SD card storage without manual configuration on models that support booting from USB or NVMe. Raspberry Pi images now default to a /boot partition of 256MiB instead of 64MiB. rpi-aarch64* PLATFORMFSes and images now support the Raspberry Pi 5. After installation, the kernel can be switched to the Raspberry Pi 5-specific rpi5-kernel."
Void is an independently-developed, general-purpose operating system based on the monolithic Linux kernel. It features a hybrid binary/source package management system which allows users to quickly install, update and remove software, or to build software directly from sources with the help of the XBPS source packages collection. Other features of the distribution include support for Raspberry Pi single-board computers (both armv6 and armv7), rolling-release development model with daily updates, and native init system called "runit".
