School Cancels Mother's and Father's Day Activities and Some Parents Are Furious

When it comes to gendered holidays or events — like father-daughter dances — schools all over the world are beginning to think more deeply about how to benefit both "traditional" and "non-traditional" families amidst celebrations.

Albert McMahon Elementary School in Mission, British Columbia is one of these schools. As their students entered Mother's Day and Father's Day season, the elementary school's first and second grade teachers and staff decided to eliminate the holidays' crafts in class, encouraging students, instead, to celebrate at home.

Public schools are grooming your children

On April 9, Oklahoma State University hosted a “drag queen story hour” for children as young as 2 years old on its campus. The event was part of the university’s “Pride 2022” celebration. A description for the program stated two drag performers would read books to all attendees and that the drag queen story hour was geared toward children between the ages of 2 to 8, but that “all ages [were] welcome to join in on the fun.”

You read that correctly. A major university, paid for by the good conservative citizens here in the heartland of America, is openly declaring that it is working to groom our children and that they are starting when they are as young as 2 years old.

This nonsense is pervasive across our nation. What happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas. If it’s happening in Oklahoma, it is happening in your own backyard.

The Liberals have sneakily brought back the gun registry

Oh, I’m sure Trudeau Liberals will claim they are not reviving the convoluted, expensive, controversial, useless registry. After all, they swore up and down before the 2015 election they would never reinstate the registry if elected.

If you call any Liberal MP’s office and ask about Registry 2.0, I am confident you’ll get some talking-points answer along the lines, “We’re just asking anyone selling a gun in Canada to keep a record of who they sold it to. That information might be useful if the gun is ever used to commit a crime. And isn’t that what we all want, a safer Canada?”

Except that’s not exactly what the Liberals are doing.

Two inmates impregnated by transgender inmate at all-women’s prison in New Jersey

Two inmates at an all-women’s prison in New Jersey are pregnant after reportedly having sex with a transgender inmate.

The women are confined at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility in Clinton, NJ.Com reported. It’s the state’s only all-women’s prison and is slated for closure following complaints about sexual assaults and other problems in the facility.

Dan Sperrazza, a spokesman for the New Jersey Department of Corrections, told NJ.com that the women became pregnant after “consensual sexual relationships with another incarcerated person.”

Taxpayers could be on the hook for millions in back pay for RCMP officers

Representatives from a number of southern Alberta communities that rely on the RCMP for policing are concerned about the costs that could be dropped onto taxpayers as a result of a new labour deal for officers.

The agreement, between the Canadian government and the National Police Federation (NPF), the union that represents the RCMP, was reached in June and results in a $20,000 payroll increase for the more than 19,000 regular members.

The deal also includes retroactive pay dating back to April 2017, officials say.

As many southern Alberta communities looked over the new agreement, many see it will have a "significant financial impact on municipalities."

B.C. cities on hook for millions in back pay to RCMP members warn of major budget impacts

B.C. municipalities have begun to receive bills for millions of dollars to cover back pay for RCMP members under the police force’s new collective agreement — and are warning of tax increases or other budget impacts unless Ottawa helps shoulder the load.

Signed last August, the agreement between the members’ union and the federal government secured pay raises for thousands of RCMP members that are retroactive to 2017, covering the period since the pay scale was last updated in 2016.

America’s Forgotten History of Forced Sterilization

In early September, a nurse working at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center in Georgia came forward with shocking allegations of medical neglect and abuse, claiming that numerous involuntary hysterectomies (uterus removal surgeries) were performed on detained immigrant women.
This allegation understandably evoked fury and outrage among the general public, with numerous people denouncing it as a human rights violation and yet another example of the current administration’s cruelty towards women and immigrants.

There are six contenders for the Conservative Party of Canada leadership

The Conservative party says six leadership candidates have cleared the final hurdles to getting their names on the ballot, while three others who did not make the cut are pushing back.Pierre Poilievre, the bombastic Tory finance critic whose rallies have at times drawn thousands, and Jean Charest, the former Quebec premier who is appealing to more centrist Conservatives, are both candidates in the race to replace former leader Erin O'Toole. So are Patrick Brown, the mayor of Brampton, Ont., who is promoting religious freedom and making targeted promises to ethnic communities, and Leslyn Lewis, the socially conservative rural Ontario MP.

Conservative leadership first official debate May 11 in Edmonton

Candidates vying to be the next leader of the Conservative Party of Canada will face off in the first party-sanctioned debate next Wednesday. The English-language debate on May 11 will be held in Edmonton and hosted by former political journalist Tom Clark, while the official French-language debate will take place in Laval, Que. on May 25.The party’s Leadership Election Organizing Committee (LEOC) stated in a memorandum that it is “reserving the rights to add a third debate in early August.”Topics will be sent out to candidates one week in advance of each debate. LEOC rules stipulate that candidates are required to attend all official debates.

It's now mass confusion over 'mask confusion' from COVID rules

Imagine this scenario:

You’re a graduate student at Rutgers University. You need to catch a flight to India for a research seminar. Your flight is scheduled to depart from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City.

What are the new rules about wearing one of those annoying surgical masks to protect you from COVID?

These days, it depends on where you are and how you’re traveling, now that a federal judge in Florida on Monday tossed a legal wrench into the national public health bureaucracy’s efforts to impose uniform rules about masks.

Middle school staff grooms kids to be “transgender” – changes their names – and hides it from parents.

The insane idea of “transgenderism” – that a person was “born as the wrong body” and therefore must “change” it – is now being foisted on middle school students (ages 11-13). What is going on? How does this happen? What you are about to read is ghastly. But it is now frighteningly common across America.

As we described in previous sections, in late 2019 and early 2020 the Baird Middle School in Ludlow, MA, became a center of controversy when a teacher (and some parents) exposed the graphic sexual, homosexual, and transgender themed books in the library and classrooms. This was primarily the handiwork of the librarian (a weird cross-dressing woman) and her many allies on the staff. It was supported by the Principal, the Superintendent, and the School Board.

University limits job opening to women, trans, and non-binary people … but specifically not to white males

The College Fix reports that the University of Waterloo in Canada is advertising a job opening in the school’s Faculty of Environment, which limiting the search to “qualified individuals who self-identify as women, transgender, non-binary, or ‘two-spirit.’”

Will Disney leave Florida? How the company might respond in feud over self-governing status

The Walt Disney Co. has been silent this past week over the Florida Legislature's action to repeal the Reedy Creek Improvement District. That's the governing structure for Disney's Orlando-area properties.

That silence leaves much unknown about how Disney will respond and what its next steps will be. Under the legislation, the move would take effect in June 2023.

The Legislature's action came in response to Disney's criticism of the Parental Rights in Education Act that Gov. Ron DeSantis signed into law in March. The measure – which opponents have called the "Don't Say Gay" bill – includes provisions that limit instruction about gender identity and sexual orientation in grades K-3.

Disney’s Pedophile Employees Caught in Florida Human Trafficking Sting Operation

Florida law enforcement conducted an undercover operation titled “Operation March Sadness II,” which resulted in the arrest of 108 individuals involved in human trafficking and pedophilia. Among those arrested were four Disney employees and a retired judge in the Cook County 4th Sub Circuit Court.

Biden says masking up on planes is ‘up to’ travelers after order nixed

President Biden said Tuesday that American travelers should decide for themselves whether they want to don masks while flying after a Florida federal judge struck down the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention mandate for planes and most other forms of transportation a day earlier.

Speaking to reporters after landing in New Hampshire on Tuesday, the president was asked if people should continue to wear masks on planes.

“That’s up to them,” he replied.

The COVID-19 pandemic is generating tons of medical waste

Garbage contaminated with bodily fluids or other infectious materials is becoming a bigger concern for hospitals as they brace for a surge in patients sick with COVID-19 in the US. Patients and health care workers are quickly going through medical supplies and disposable personal protective equipment, like masks. Eventually all that used gear piles up as medical waste that needs to be safely discarded.

In Wuhan, where the novel coronavirus first emerged, officials didn’t just need to build new hospitals for the influx of patients; they had to construct a new medical waste plant and deploy 46 mobile waste treatment facilities too. Hospitals there generated six times as much medical waste at the peak of the outbreak as they did before the crisis began.

Critics slam timing of Biden's 'ministry of truth' to police internet for 'disinformation'

Conservatives on social media slammed the Biden administration after it was announced that a "Disinformation Governance Board" is being established to combat "disinformation" in the 2022 midterms.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas testified Wednesday that a Disinformation Governance Board had recently been created, days after Tesla CEO Elon Musk purchased Twitter, to combat online disinformation and will be led by Undersecretary for Policy Rob Silvers and principal deputy general counsel Jennifer Gaskill.

Joe Biden's 'Ministry of Truth'

The Biden administration’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced this week that it has launched what is being dubbed a Disinformation Governance Board to combat “misinformation.”

No, really.

A government agency creating a “ministry of truth” to combat what it deems misinformation? And it’s going to fall under the leadership of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas? The guy presiding over the worst border crisis of our lifetimes, who publicly denies it is a crisis at all while privately admitting it is? Who better to give more responsibility in a democracy that largely rejects government intervention over free speech? What could possibly go wrong?

Donald Trump Jr. forms gun rights task force

Donald Trump Jr. is starting a new pro-Second Amendment group that will push back on Democrat gun control efforts.

According to a Fox News exclusive on Tuesday, Trump Jr. will serve as the chairman of the new group, dubbed the Second Amendment Task Force

“The Second Amendment is the whole ballgame; it’s the freedom that protects all of our other freedoms. Unfortunately the Biden Administration and Democrats in Congress are hellbent on eroding our Constitutional right to keep and bear arms, whether it’s nominating radical gun-grabbers to senior positions in the executive branch or pushing anti-gun legislation,” Trump Jr. told the outlet. “The Second Amendment Task Force is entirely devoted to ensuring the Left is never successful in disarming American citizens.”

Sheriff Doubles Down, Says if Homeowner Shoots and Kills Intruder 'Chances of Them Reoffending are Zero'

Bob Johnson, sheriff of Santa Rosa County in Florida, made headlines last week when he encouraged homeowners to shoot intruders. Some viewed it as "controversial." Others, people with their heads not totally lodged up their rectums, viewed it as common sense. Sheriff Johnson had the opportunity to clarify or walk back his statement during a Fox News interview. Instead, he unloaded again.

Gun Rights Are Women’s Right

The 2nd Amendment is about protection. It gives individuals the right to protect themselves against aggressors. If you are in danger, then you have the right to protect yourself. If you are a Mike Tyson like individual, then throwing a few punches could supply enough protection from an aggressor. But if you only weigh 100 pounds soaking wet, then you’ll probably need a weapon to supply enough protection to stay safe from an attack.

Let’s say a 6 foot 5 inch tall man decides to get physically aggressive with a 5 foot 2 inch tall woman. That woman would be in danger. Self-defense class may have taught her a few choice spots to hit the perpetrator, but even then that may not be enough.

Almost Half of New Gun Owners are Women, Harvard Study Finds

Deborah Azrael of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Matthew Miller of Northeastern University created the 2021 National Firearms Survey. The survey polls 19,000 adults across the country. Azreal describes it as one of the largest nationally representative, population-based surveys about gun purchasing ever conducted.

They found that around 3.5 million women became new gun owners between January 2019 and April of 2021. During the same period of time, about 4 million men became gun owners.

“The gun industry tried for decades to sell firearms to women with little success. Much of its strategy was known in the industry as ‘shrink it and pink it’ — producing smaller handguns in brighter colors. Now, the industry is designing handguns that are easier for people with smaller hands to manipulate.

The Plague You Should Be Freaking Out About Is Government Abuse Of Power

Two years on, the crackdown on legitimate civil protests showcases what western governments will do to suppress critics of their Covid police state.

For anyone still naïve, stubborn, or fanatical enough to believe the Covid tyranny we’ve been suffocating under for the past two years is about a virus, let the events unfolding in Canada disabuse you of that illusion.

Invoking the Emergencies Act to freeze bank accounts, conduct mass arrests of peaceful demonstrators and protest organizers, target reporters and photographers, and establish “red zones” and checkpoints, all in response to a mobilized citizenry that is weary of ineffective, illiberal, and discriminatory Covid restrictions — this all smacks of dictatorship, not democracy. It certainly has nothing to do with public health.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC)/Radio-Canada is one of the world's major public broadcasting organizations. It operates national radio (AM and FM) and television networks in English and French; provides regional and local radio and television programming in both official languages; broadcasts locally produced programs in English and Indigenous languages for people living in the far North; runs a multilingual shortwave service for listeners overseas; and provides closed captioning for the deaf.

Founding of the CBC/Radio-Canada

The creation of the CBC/Radio-Canada as a crown corporation on 2 November 1936 followed two earlier experiments with public broadcast ownership in Canada. During the 1920s the Canadian National Railways (CNR) developed a radio network with stations in Ottawa, Montréal, Toronto, Moncton and Vancouver. Its schedule included concerts, comic opera, school broadcasts and historical drama, though by the end of 1929 it was still providing only three hours of programming a week nationally.

Together with the example of the British Broadcasting Corporation, however, the CNR radio stations helped to make the merits of public ownership more apparent to the Royal Commission on Radio Broadcasting appointed by Mackenzie King on 6 December 1928, under the chairmanship of Sir John Aird. The privately owned Canadian stations were not only beginning to fall into American hands but also seemed incapable at the time of providing an adequate Canadian alternative to the programming that was flooding across the border from the United States.

— Andrew Lawton (@AndrewLawton) March 28, 2022

This isn’t an entirely new position for Poilievre. During a recent interview with Rebel News, Poilievre called the federally-funded news organization a “great waste” of money and promised to, at the very least, slash their budget.

“It’s true that I will cut the CBC’s budget since it’s a great waste — they waste an enormous amount of money,” said Poilievre. “Nearly everything the CBC does in English is already available on the market. Governments should only do what the market cannot do.”

“But nearly everything we see from the CBC — on TV, on the internet — is already available from other sources… there is a lot of waste for the CBC. I will cut the budget, we will save money, and we’ll allow people to choose their own media sources.”

What States Will Honor My Permit?

There are many US states that will honor a concealed carry permit from another US state. Some states have entered into agreements to recognize concealed carry permits from states they have formally signed a reciprocity agreement with. There are also states (California, New York, Maryland...) that will not honor any concealed carry permit from another state and in effect ban the carry of handguns by non-residents visiting their state.

Across the United States reciprocity laws vary widely from state to state requiring close attention if a person wants to travel interstate. Federal law does protect individuals traveling across a state with a firearm if they do not have a permit to carry in the state, but only if strict guidelines are followed.

The History of Concealed Carry in the United States

Carrying a gun is as American as apple pie for those of us that do it. We are blessed to live in the only nation on this earth that truly honors this essential liberty, at least in most places. Americans have been heavily armed since the inception of our nation, and even before. The European settlers who first set foot on this soil were heavily armed with the firearms of the day. The Native American tribes already on the continent quickly adopted firearms technology as well. We are a gun people, despite what some political factions try to claim.

However, the legal carry of concealed handguns while in public is actually a comparatively new phenomenon. This trend has been driven by a number of factors. Civil unrest and terrorist events in the past two decades have had a profound influence on the mindset of the public and many have realized that local, state, and federal government is unable to protect the masses when disaster strikes

What Everyone Must Know About Concealed Carry

Concealed carry is the practice of carrying a firearm (typically a handgun) on one’s physical person while taking steps to ensure that the presence of the firearm is undetectable to casual (or trained) observers. Concealed carry is often accomplished by securing the firearm in a holster specifically designed to aid concealment underneath everyday clothing.

While there are many ways to practice concealed carry, handguns are generally worn in a holster near someone’s waist, either inside the waistband (“IWB”) or outside the waistband (“OWB”) of the person’s pants or skirt. By covering the firearm with a shirt or blouse and selecting a well-designed concealed carry holster, it is possible to minimize or eliminate the outline of the firearm through someone’s clothes. When the shape of a firearm is visible underneath clothing, it is referred to as “printing.” Minimizing or eliminating printing is one of the primary goals of people who conceal carry.

Apple riles online critics with pregnant man, other progressive emojis

Some social media critics were not pleased with these progressive emoticons.

The Apple emoji factory ruffled feathers online after churning out a new batch of emoticons for the new iOS 15.4, which includes a graphic of a pregnant man.

The most divisive addition seemed to be three new, gender-bending emojis: a pregnant man, a gender-neutral pregnant person and one bearing a crown. The move is part of the emoji maker’s continued efforts to make digital discourse more inclusive by rolling out nonbinary emoticons, among other smileys.

New Jersey parents outraged at plan for first-graders to be given sex education lessons dubbed 'Pink, Blue and Purple' on gender identity while second-graders will learn you can 'have boy parts but feel like a girl'

First-graders in New Jersey will be learning about gender identity with new sex education curriculum which includes a lesson that teaches children they can have 'boy parts' but 'feel like' a girl.

The new lessons, which are part of a broader, K-12 health and sex education curriculum adopted by the New Jersey Board of Education, are alarming some parents, Asbury Park Press first reported.

One of the 30-minute lesson plans, called 'Pink, Blue and Purple,' teaches the students to define 'gender, gender identity and gender role stereotypes.'

‘Groomer behaviors’ in teachers flagged; ‘queer teacher’ defending sexualizing of young children draws fire

With the backlash building against activists in classrooms who are essentially acting as groomers by sexualizing the nation’s youngest students, those who seem to believe that posting videos to social media of themselves defending such indoctrination are making a monumental strategic blunder.

Leftist uproar over Florida’s parental rights bill which was just signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis may be stirring the passions of Democrats, celebs and “woke” progressives but the bright idea of educators to argue their case for homosexual and transgender indoctrination in classrooms

White people excluded, but illegal immigrants qualify for city’s new ‘guaranteed income’ of $500/month

A privately-funded collaborative effort between an Oakland-based community organization and a national organization consisting of mayors pushing for “guaranteed income” is about to launch an 18-month program that will see 600 eligible, non-white families receive $500 a month in order to address income disparities between white and non-white households.

Democrats want to impose socialism, and worse, on America

As near as I can tell it began in 1995, when Republicans won control of the House of Representatives for the first time in 40 years and captured a Senate majority.

By “it” I mean the accusation that Republicans and especially conservatives (not always the same) are “divisive.” One reads and hears this from every media outlet and Democrats in Congress. President Trump is dividing America. Talk radio is divisive. The right wing is undermining our “unity.”

Why America’s Free Market Economy Works Better in Some Places than Others

If it’s working right, the free market system produces goods and services better than any alternative. It creates powerful incentives to innovate, and generally ensures people’s earnings reflect the value they deliver to others through work. It also offers upward mobility to people who invest in their own “human capital” and work hard. (That said, the market economy doesn’t promise equal outcomes, since people’s contributions are invariably unequal.)

A market economy, however, depends on well-functioning markets. These include competitive product markets with relatively low barriers to new entrants, since firms facing little competition usually deliver poor quality and charge prices out of whack with people’s wages. Advanced market economies work best in places with “thick” labor markets, meaning large numbers of workers with rich varieties of skills and diverse employers. In today’s knowledge-centric economy, it also thrives in places with thick markets in ideas.

Disney Goes Groomer

Do you want to know what the bill Gov. Ron DeSantis signed does? Here is the text itself.

Basically, it forbids schools from withholding from parents knowledge of their minor child’s sexual or gender identification, unless there is good reason to fear that disclosing this information would subject the child to abuse. This is to override local school board policies that allowed schools to hide from parents when their kids were coming out as trans in schools, even as the schools were supporting those kids in their chosen trans identities.

‘Woke’ on steroids: Palm Springs initiates monthly payment plan for transgender, nonbinary residents

Palm Springs, California has gone extremely woke, with the city that is the desert playground for the rich proposing a program that would guarantee monthly income as high as $900 to transgender and nonbinary residents in the name of fighting discrimination.

On Thursday, the Palm Springs City Council voted to allocate $200,000 from two local nonprofits to begin the gratuitous guilt-assuaging payments to members of the marginalized demographic that live there. California is now making moves to implement a guaranteed income plan on a number of levels in the state with Palm Springs leading the way.

Whites Need Not Apply: Systemic Racism in 2021

Ontario has the Human Rights Code to protect people from discrimination. There are specific characteristics called Code grounds that are protected in clearly defined situations/5 social areas. Obviously, race is protected in employment. Yet, there is clear and obvious discrimination against one group of people, Whites. It has now seemingly been made legal.

Take a look at this job posting for a Human Resources Advisor by the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto: a publicly funded organization.

It’s Time to Abolish the Absurd (and Slightly Racist) Concept of “Visible Minorities”

No other country in the world divides itself along racial lines as we do in Canada. According to federal legislation, our country consists of three distinct race groups: Indigenous people, whites and everybody else. Members of this final catch-all category are officially deemed “visible minorities” and defined in law as “persons, other than Aboriginal people, who are non-Caucasian in race or non-white in colour.” Canadians can either be native, white or non-white. How’s that for inclusivity?

The term “visible minority” was invented in 1975 by black activist Kay Livingstone, founder of the Canadian Negro Women’s Association, as the means to unite disparate immigrant groups at a time when Canada was overwhelmingly Caucasian. By 1984, the phrase had gained sufficient currency to play a starring role in the final report of Judge Rosalie Silberman Abella’s Commission on Equality in Employment, and was later enshrined in law via the federal Employment Equity Act of 1986

Rep. Maxine Waters Tells Homeless to 'Go Home'

A chaotic scene unfolded in South Los Angeles last week when Rep. Maxine Waters showed up to an event aimed at providing emergency resources to homeless Angelenos in her district, an event where those who turned out were expecting something much different than what played out.

According to The Los Angeles Times, while Waters requested that the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority show up in the community to provide assistance to her homeless constituents, "an unofficial social media post erroneously promised that those who showed up would get rare vouchers for permanent, subsidized housing."

New Cars Must Average 40 MPG by 2026

We knew the federal government was going to crack down on new car fuel economy soon, and now we're seeing just how much. As the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration confirmed Friday morning, it's undoing the Trump-era rollbacks that would've required new vehicles to average 24 miles per gallon by 2026. Instead, they must hit 40 mpg in four years' time—not exactly a small increase, but one that's still tamer than what some environmental groups were pulling for.

These new rules have average fuel economy increasing eight percent per year for model years 2024 and 2025, then jumping 10 percent in the 2026 model year. The NHTSA claims this will save more than 200 billion gallons of gasoline versus the previously set requirements, which themselves were a drastic reworking of those established by former President Obama. Apparently, the rules announced Friday will equal those standards by 2025 and then slightly exceed them come 2026.

EV Car Batteries Destroy the Environment and Violate Human Rights

Automotive companies and environmentalists herald electric vehicles as one of the solutions to addressing environmental problems such as the climate change crisis and air pollution. With their electric powertrains, EVs produce zero carbon emissions. However, electric vehicles have a dirty secret: the lithium and cobalt that are in EV car batteries destroy the environment and violate human rights.

Judge Strikes Down California’s Corporate Board Racial Diversity Law

Biden Admin Vows to Push Life-Altering Sex-Change Surgeries for Children

White House endorses 'top surgery' and transgender drugs for minors Democrat Joe Biden's administration is pushing for children to have their genitals removed and altered with life-changing sex-change surgeries.

The White House has released a series of documents encouraging the use of gender reassignment surgery, puberty-blocking drugs, and hormone therapy for "transgender" minors.

On Thursday, Biden's Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) Office of Population Affairs quietly released a document titled "Gender Affirming Care and Young People."

The Left’s Appalling Efforts to ‘Normalize’ Paedophilia

Some on the left have made a concerted effort of late to “normalize” paedophilia by twisting language and shifting concern from would-be victims to the pedophile himself. That’s a dangerous precedent everyone must understand and confront.

In a Nov. 8 interview with the Prostasia Foundation, a San Francisco-based nonprofit organization purportedly dedicated to safeguarding kids, Allyn Walker offered various explanations and excuses for pedophiles—or as he calls them, “minor-attracted people.”

Walker, an assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, said, “A lot of people when they hear the term ‘pedophile,’ they automatically assume that it means a sex offender, and that isn’t true, and it leads to a lot of misconceptions about attractions towards minors.”

Canada Will Soon Offer Assisted Suicide To The Mentally Ill

Canada could soon become the next country to allow medical aid in dying (MAID) for people with mental illnesses.

From March 2023, people suffering with disorders including depression, bipolar disorder and PTSD will be able to seek doctor-assisted deaths if they are suffering from unbearable psychological pain.

The majority of people seeking MAID are cancer sufferers, and the move to expand the service has caused deep divides among mental health professionals.

Dutch psychiatrist Dr. Sisco van Veen told the National Post that when it comes to diseases such as terminal cancer, ‘there is something inside the body that can be seen’, though this is not always the case with mental illness.

Social media censorship is a potent threat to freedom of speech

In terms of actions […] that we have taken or we’re working to take, I should say, from the federal government. We’ve increased disinformation research and tracking within the Surgeon General’s Office. We’re flagging problematic posts for Facebook that spread disinformation,” said Ms. Psaki.

The following day, the press secretary elaborated on the White House’s position, saying that users who post “misinformation” should be banned on every social media platform. When asked by a reporter, President Biden even went as far as to accuse Facebook and other social media platforms of “killing people.”

SJW fatigue: Why anime & manga are conquering the West

In the West vs. East battle of entertainment industries, manga, anime and Korean dramas are steadily gaining ground

Be it films or comics, audiences seem to be growing tired of what the Western entertainment industry has to offer and many are turning their attention to the East.

For a long time, Hollywood and the American comic book industry have been seen as international media behemoths. It used to be that they never even faced any serious competition. But lately, they seem to be losing that grasp. The last decade of film and comics has seen a sharp decline in quality. And while, of course, there have been some HUGE successes like Marvel’s MCU films, raking in billions of dollars, nevertheless, it seems evident that audiences are growing tired of the same old formulas being rehashed over and over again.

The NFL says teams must hire a minority or female offensive coach

The NFL is requiring all of its teams to hire a minority or female offensive assistant coach for the 2022 season at a time when criticism is high over the diversity of its top ranks.
The league also says its Rooney Rule, requiring every team to interview at least two external minority candidates for open head coaching positions, will expand to provide more opportunities for women to secure front office roles.

Amid Rising Gas Prices, Biden & California Democrats Propose Tax Hikes On Energy Suppliers

High gas prices have prompted governors across the country, in both red and blue states, to introduce bills that temporarily cut state gas taxes or delay scheduled increases. Maryland and Georgia were the first states to enact temporary gas tax cuts and more are likely to follow suit. In California, home to the nation’s highest average gas price, Governor Gavin Newsom (D) has proposed sending rebate checks to Californians to help cover heightened fuel costs.

As an alternative to Governor Newsom’s proposed rebates, California Assembly Kevin Kiley (R) introduced Assembly Bill 1638, legislation to temporarily suspend the state gas tax. During a March 28 committee hearing on Assemblyman Kiley’s proposal, members of the Democratic majority gutted Kiley’s bill and replaced it with legislative language that would instead impose a tax hike on gas suppliers. As home to what is already the nation’s highest marginal income tax rate, highest sales tax, and one of the most overall burdensome tax codes in the country, the decision by Democratic legislators in Sacramento to respond to rising gas prices with a new tax on fuel suppliers was a shock to many.

Is the Biden-Harris Regime Purposely Destroying the American Economy?

The U.S. economy is on a collision course with economic disaster. Is it being done on purpose or is this just a symptom of having an idiocracy in charge of the economy? Is it perhaps a combination of both factors?

Given my several years living and working in our nation’s capital, having seen the Washington bureaucracy up close, I generally lean heavily on the idiocracy explanation for our American economic death spiral. But recent events have made me reassess. Let’s take a look at what’s going on under the control of the current regime:

According to the current Consumer Price Index, inflation is now growing at something close to 1% a month. According to CPI metrics used in the 1980s, inflation is rising at an even higher rate.

More Californians could carry concealed guns if Supreme Court strikes down New York law

Nov. 4—More Californians could be allowed to carry concealed weapons if the U.S. Supreme Court strikes down a New York law under challenged from Second Amendment advocates.

The nine justices on Wednesday heard arguments against a New York law that requires gun owners to obtain a special license from local authorities to carry firearms outside the home and show "proper cause" to get one, according to The Washington Post. Seven other states have similar laws: California, Delaware, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Rhode Island.

Catholic priest incorrectly performed thousands of baptisms by changing word, making them invalid

A priest has resigned from a Catholic church in Phoenix, Arizona, after it was determined he incorrectly performed thousands of baptisms for decades by changing one word.

Father Andres Arango resigned from St. Gregory Catholic Church in Phoenix after it was determined he used the words "We baptize you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," instead of the correct phrase "I baptize you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," according to Thomas J. Olmsted, the bishop of the Diocese of Phoenix.

Kamala’s Latest Word Salad Is Just 50 Shades of Painful to Watch

It seems like not a week goes by where we aren’t having to recap another one of Vice President Kamala Harris’ infamous word salads. Sadly, this week has been no exception.

It happened on Wednesday, when Harris met with Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness at the White House to reaffirm the United States’ commitment to supporting the Caribbean island and keeping up friendly diplomatic relations. Things started off rather mundanely as Harris noted her familial ties to the region (her father Donald J. Harris, a retired Stanford economics professor, emigrated to the U.S. from Jamaica in the early 1960s):

Joe Biden’s Word Salad… Quite the Mouthful

Biden clearly lost his train of thought and struggled with the question:

“And the question is whether or not we should be in a position where you are — why can’t the — the — the experts say, ‘We know that this virus is, in fact — it’s going to be’ — or, excuse me — ‘We know why all the drugs approved are not temporarily approved, but permanently approved.’ That’s underway too. I expect that to occur quickly,” Biden said, according to a White House transcript.

Liberals changing word meanings with intent to deceive

"The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end; there it is." — Winston Churchill

Where I found truth, there found I my God, who is the truth itself. — Augustine

Almost anything is possible if one has the power to change the definition of words. Take for example the word truth. Once upon a time truth had a clear and concise meaning. Merriam-Webster's dictionary (M-WD) defines truth as "the body of true statements and propositions.

Matt Gaetz Promises To Nominate President Trump As Speaker Of The House

Over the weekend, President Trump held a “Save America” rally just northeast of Atlanta, Georgia, and invited several Republican lawmakers to attend and speak. Among them was US House Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) who made the massive crowd a promise that seemed to take even President Trump off guard.

When Gaetz first took the microphone, at Trump’s request, he praised the former president, saying there was “no greater president” and encouraged the crowd to get out and vote during the midterm elections this year so that Republicans can take back control of Congress.

House Dems Trying to Change Rules and Prevent Donald Trump from Becoming Speaker of the House

Democrats may be responding to a fear of President Donald Trump being elected to the U.S. House in 2022.

“Gay Pride” Parades, Nudity, and Nihilism

Bolstered by the Supreme Court’s recent DOMA decision, it is reported that two million people attended this past Sunday’s homosexual “Pride” parade in New York City. This mirrors increased attendance in such parades nationwide, with participants eager to celebrate what is viewed as a milestone in the advancement of the homosexual agenda.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Gov. Andrew Cuomo and other political leaders marched in the [NYC] parade. Mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner also courted support in the crowd speaking to spectators through a bullhorn, and Public Advocate and candidate Bill de Blasio also marched.

Fauci warns Americans could face more lockdowns amid spread of new COVID-19 variant

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, warned Americans this week that they could soon face additional COVID-19 lockdown measures should a new strain of the virus cause case numbers to increase.

Fauci, who also serves as an adviser to President Biden, said the BA.2 subvariant could soon increase the rate of infections in America. He suggested that Americans should "be able to pivot" back and forth between a more common way of life and the measures that were taken in an attempt to slow the spread of the virus at the height of the pandemic

Huge Crowd Attends Trump Rally in Arizona: ‘Nobody’s Ever Had a Movement Like This’

A massive crowd gathered for former President Donald Trump’s rally in Florence, Arizona, on Saturday evening.

“Look at the people, as far as the eye can see… Look at the people way back, and I mean like football fields back,” Trump said while gesturing toward the audience.

“And you know what? I would ask the press to turn your cameras around and show the kind of crowd that we have, because nobody’s ever had a movement like this,” he continued:

Nobody’s ever had spirit like this or a crowd like this. But see they don’t turn the cameras, they don’t want to turn the cameras. They don’t want to turn the cameras and frankly, they move the cameras into a bad location for us. They should have been put way back. They have magnifying lenses. They have lenses that could’ve handled it. But take a look behind you, press, because when they show the kind of numbers that are represented tonight, some of the government people said its the single biggest crowd they’ve seen yet. And they’re not just talking about Arizona.

Poll shows CPC leadership race lies between Poilievre and Charest

Both veteran MP Pierre Poilievre and former Quebec Premier Jean Charest have the ability to grow the Conservative support to 42% nationwide, says a poll from the Angus Reid Institute (ARI).

Poilievre and Charest appear to have the early advantage in the leadership race.

Jean Charest doesn’t stand a chance

It’s now all but official: Jean Charest, the former premier of Quebec and one-time leader of the Progressive Conservative Party, will reportedly contest the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada. There are other names being bandied about, from Leslyn Lewis to Patrick Brown, but it’s Charest who has clearly emerged as the great non-Poilievre hope. And he’s almost certainly going to get crushed.

What the data says about gun deaths in the U.S.

More Americans died of gun-related injuries in 2020 than in any other year on record, according to recently published statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). That included a record number of gun murders, as well as a near-record number of gun suicides. Despite the increase in such fatalities, the rate of gun deaths – a statistic that accounts for the nation’s growing population – remains below the levels of earlier years.

Here’s a closer look at gun deaths in the United States, based on a Pew Research Center analysis of data from the CDC, the FBI and other sources. You can also read key public opinion findings about U.S. gun violence and gun policy in our recent roundup.

Drug Overdose Deaths in the U.S. Top 100,000 Annually

Provisional data from CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics indicate that there were an estimated 100,306 drug overdose deaths in the United States during 12-month period ending in April 2021, an increase of 28.5% from the 78,056 deaths during the same period the year before.

The new data documents that estimated overdose deaths from opioids increased to 75,673 in the 12-month period ending in April 2021, up from 56,064 the year before. Overdose deaths from synthetic opioids (primarily fentanyl) and psychostimulants such as methamphetamine also increased in the 12-month period ending in April 2021. Cocaine deaths also increased, as did deaths from natural and semi-synthetic opioids (such as prescription pain medication).

Guns Prevent Thousands of Crimes Every Day, Research Shows

It never fails. A split-second after a mass shooting occurs, grandstanders and ideologues issue statements demanding new gun controls—even if the laws already on the books failed or the laws they want would have made no difference. Case in point: the tragic incidents in Dayton, Ohio, and El Paso, Texas, in early August 2019.

The message is clear: Guns cause violence. Tax them, take them, ban them, regulate them. Do something, maybe anything! Such knee-jerk, emotional responses are dangerous, writes Charles W. Cooke in National Review, “for when a nation sets up a direct pipeline between its emotions and its laws, it does not keep its liberty for long.”
Guns Don't Kill People

Gun Sales 2021: 5.4 Million Americans Bought a Firearm for the First Time

The results of the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s (NSSF’s) annual surveys of gun retailers are in and, as it turns out, Americans bought a helluva lotta guns in 2021 — and a large percentage of them did so for the very first time.

Based on its retailer surveys and adjusted National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) numbers from the FBI, the

Trudeau announces Canada ban on Russian oil imports

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announces a ban on Russian oil imports, saying oil revenues have helped to prop up Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian oligarchs.

“Today, we are announcing a ban on all imports of crude oil from Russia, an industry that has benefited President Putin and his oligarchs greatly,” Trudeau tells a news conference.

“And while Canada has imported very little amounts in recent years, this measure sends a powerful message,” he adds.

'From father to father': Ukrainian refugee implores PM Trudeau for help

After a harrowing journey fleeing the conflict in Ukraine, a father who was recently deported from Canada is now on his way to Germany with his family.

On Sunday, he shared with CTV News Channel his family's story of fleeing Russia's now weeklong war in Ukraine with his wife and their three children.

Harris Awkwardly Laughs for 15 Seconds Straight When Asked About Ukrainian Refugees

Vice President Kamala Harris continued her trend of awkwardly laughing after being asked a question during a trip to Poland meant to show the United States’ commitment to its European allies amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

On Thursday, a reporter asked Harris about concerns the refugee system is “essentially not set up” for the flood of refugees and “will collapse.”

“It’s an improvised system that can work for maybe two weeks but not indefinitely,” the reporter added before asking, “And I’m wondering what the United States is going to do more specifically to set up a permanent infrastructure and relatedly, is the United States willing to make a specific allocation for Ukrainian refugees?”

Justin Trudeau Begins Agenda To FLOOD RURAL CANADA With 3rd World Immigrants

Vernon, British Columbia is one of 11 communities in Canada participating in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) program. The program was designed to spread the benefits of economic immigration to communities outside of the larger metropolitan areas of the country.

Canada PM Trudeau Removes Charitable Access For Women Out Of ‘Love’ For Them

Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reportedly removed charitable funding for women in crisis out of his advocacy for women's rights, according to Vote Family, an organization providing "unbiased" information on the stance of political parties in relation to family issues and concerns.

"'Feminist' Justin Trudeau values women so much that he will revoke charitable status from pregnancy resource centers which help pregnant women in desperate and vulnerable situations," Vote Family President Mattea Merta retorted in Twitter on September 2.

Canadian Liberals Support Only One Choice: Abortion

So, we’re back with basically the same Parliament we had before, give or take a handful of individuals. While this election result felt like a collective shrug of Canadian shoulders, there were some big, bad promises made that we need to keep an eye on post-election. While Trudeau campaigned on a promise of Forward. Together. some people aren’t included in his vision of togetherness. Included in those left behind are women and pre-born children.

This election, the Liberal party added a few pro-abortion lines to their party platform. They promised to not only strong-arm provinces into funding abortions (a direct swipe at New Brunswick), but also to remove charitable status from pro-life organizations.

Justin Trudeau’s fascist war against Canadians

No passion so effectually robs the mind of all its powers of acting and reasoning as fear.” 18th century philosopher Edmund Burke.

Justin Trudeau is behaving like a fascist, while calling the truckers fascists.

Fascism is not an ideology or political strategy but a societal pathology; it is social warfare. Fascism and bullying promote fear and with enough fear people are silenced into submission, giving up their freedom.

New Level Of Stupid: Biden Begs For Oil After Killing Energy Independence

The insanity of Biden and his administration knows no bounds, especially when it comes to America’s energy independence.

Instead of continuing Trump’s policies, which ensured rapid oil and gas production in the United States, driving down the price for American consumers, Biden’s response to the rise in gas prices is to beg international criminals to produce more.

There’s been a recent push to enact more green energy policies from the Biden White House. Some have even predicted a ‘climate change lockdown’ is on the horizon. As a result, Biden destroyed our ability to produce oil and gas, hoping the international oil cartel will keep their hands during instead.

Biden's war on American energy made us dependent, again

Biden has come into office, and after one year, we have seen a 4 percent surplus of domestic oil and gas production fall to a 4 percent oil and gas deficit

As Gas Prices Skyrocket, Biden Refuses to Reverse Course on Domestic Energy Production

One of the most overlooked and underappreciated aspects of Donald Trump’s presidency was the monumental increase in domestic oil and natural gas production, which laid the groundwork for a thriving economy and ultra-low prices at the pump.

When Trump entered the Oval Office in January 2017, the United States was producing approximately 8.9 million barrels of crude oil per day. By March 2020, due to Trump’s pro-energy policies, the United States was producing nearly 13 million barrels of crude oil per day.

Western Civilization Has Been Destroyed by Diversity

For decades liberal gentiles and jews have been lying to us that diversity within a single country is wonderful. Hiding behind this lie is an agenda to undermine every Western country by destroying its unity. The tool used was massive non-white immigration, supplemented in the United States with teaching blacks racial hatred of whites.

If you think blacks have not been taught to hate whites, watch the 13 minute video included in Fred Reed’s article and listen to blacks tell you how much they hate you ( https://www.unz.com/freed/blackness-fatigue-enough-is-too-much/ ). Not all blacks, of course, but the blacks who don’t hate us are “Uncle Toms.” The blacks who do hate white people tell us about in in the Black Arena Report: https://www.blackagendareport.com/freedom-rider-terrible-origins-july-4th

Diversity Is Not Our Strength — And The Lie Is Deliberate

“Diversity is our strength.” You’ve heard it over and over again, and it seems simple enough. It doesn’t matter if it’s not true; it’s a basic feel-goodism — the kind of phrase that adorns the kitschy signs Bed Bath and Beyond sells for people to hang in their kitchen. A “live, laugh, love” sort of thing. If only.

Non-Whites Commit 96.1 Percent of Homicides and 97.8 Percent of Shootings in New York City Throughout 2021

An analysis of the numbers shows that 96.1 percent of homicide suspects arrested in New York City were either black, Hispanic or Asian. Additionally, 93.8 percent of robbery suspects were non-whites, 94.9 percent of rape suspects arrested were not white, and 97.8 percent of shooting suspects arrested in 2021 were non-whites.

Gas prices are now above $2 per litre in these spots across Canada

Although Vancouver was the first to do it in Canada, multiple other spots across the country have now joined in the $2 per litre club at the gas pump.

According to the latest daily pump price survey from Kent Group, the average price of gas across Canada sits at $1.868 per litre for Wednesday, March 9.

Gas prices are only 4 cents from all-time high — and there’s no end in sight

US gas prices are poised to hit record levels within hours or days as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine further upends the global energy market – leading to higher costs for American motorists.

The national average price of a gallon of gas was $4.07 on Monday afternoon – just four cents off from the all-time high of $4.11 established on July 17, 2008, according to AAA.

And prices at the pump are expected to surge even higher if the US follows through with a ban on Russian oil imports in response to the Ukraine invasion.

As Gas Prices Soar, White House Doubles Down On Green New Deal

The Biden administration this week continues to push its long-term plan for a “Green New Deal” energy transition as some sort of solution for the immediate issue of skyrocketing prices for gasoline at the pump. It is a strategy devoid of logic or reality, one that is unlikely to satisfy drivers who see gas prices jump every time they must fill their tanks.

Psaki: High gas prices are a blessing in disguise

High gas prices: A blessing in disguise?

Today, let’s shift attention to sky-rocketing gas prices … and Biden’s “what me worry” attitude towards something that the vast majority of Americans consider an economic crisis.

The Dem’s narrative: Certainly not Joe’s fault, and there’s nothing he can do about it since OPEC won’t cooperate.

Of course that’s silly.

Biden declared war on gasoline (and natural gas) … terminating the XL pipeline project, halting drilling on government lands, and hassling frackers.

With the stroke of his ever-ready Executive Order pen, he can reverse the policies that he unilaterally executed. Gas prices would tumble and the effect would quickly spread through the economy.

He can reinstate XL, reopen Federal lands to drilling and extend an olive branch the energy companies.

Trudeau’s Canadian Fascism Is a Bigger Threat to America Than Putin

Putin has sent has 100K+ troops into the fake separatist regions of Ukraine, and that’s bad. But the morphing of Canada into a fascist state before our eyes is exponentially worse. A garbage elite on our border – with the disgraceful support of 65% of American Democrats – has declared war upon the working class, outraged that mere peasants are refusing to submit to their betters. Due process, free speech, not beating the brains out of old ladies with walkers – these basics have gone by the wayside and our senile president, with his coterie of aspiring Castros – though Castro was potent enough to impregnate Trudeau’s trash mommy while our ruling class can’t make it happen unless they are on a Zoom call – have said nothing publicly. But privately, they are taking notes. They love the idea of criminalizing dissent – look at the January 6th witch trials – and they are taking notes.

Canada is a Communist Shit Hole

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”

Yes, Justin Trudeau is seriously Fidel Castro’s son.

This isn’t a joke. Canada is literally conquered and under a dictatorship of Fidel Castro’s bastard, who is a murderous Communist psychopath just like his padre.

Canada is Going Into Full On Communism

The sheep spend their entire lives fearing the wolf, only to be eaten by the shepherd.

Leaf faggot, Justin Trudeau mandates vaccines for everyone who wants to travel by train or plane.
