Of course I can never get a video done in a timely manner. We did this trip back in the middle of February right as the winter storm hit Texas. Of course we planned this trip like 2 months before hand so we had no idea what the weather was going to do that far out. And by the time we got that close to the actual trip date it was too late to cancel so we just said screw it and went anyway. People thought we were crazy for doing this and they're probably right.
Honestly we probably had a better time doing this road trip than other people who hunkered down at home. Power and water was going out but we had a reliable heater connected to an equally reliable v6 generator that followed us around XD. If you see us pause for a while in hotel parking lots that's basically us frantically calling other hotels around to see if we could have a place to sleep for the night. We didn't reserve any hotel rooms because we didn't know how far we would be able to travel each day so there was no way we would know where we could stop that night.
Anyway I hope you enjoy, it was a challenge condensing a week of driving time down to just over an hour.

I was approached by this company to review their upscaler device. I was a bit sus at first but when they showed me a pic of it I had to have it. This has to be the most adorable upscaler I have seen yet. Performance is mediocre but it's not bad for the price. I do have an upscaler that does have a bit better picture but it was twice the price. Nowadays I have better even more expensive equipment so I don't really have a need. This is not meant to be a how-to!
Anyway, this was my journey on stream of trying to do a repair on my Gamecube. We kept getting more and more disc read errors but everything -seemed- fine. The motor would still get up to speed, discs AND laser were clean but nothing helped. I learned there is a little dial on one of the boards that can up the voltage to the laser sensor, since apparently those slowly lose power over time. So I decided to try this repair on stream and here's the edited bits.
Dennis Karlan finally reveals himself! I was right all along, Lloyd's dad will save the day. Kratos is there too. I love how when we started this recording session Chase kept saying we're almost done with the game. 8 hours later and I still have no idea how close we actually are to the end XD.
At least we can bring Sheena some final closure. That's a good place to end this session with. We'll have some more episodes hopefully sometime soon.

Yet again part of the reason this game is taking so long to get thru is Chase keeps trying to make me try and get things before we are supposed to leading me to just wander around forever XD. If there's even anyone out there that still plays Spiral Knights you will probably realize how old this recording is. This game was pretty fun back in the day, especially with how easy it was to mod in sound effects as you can probably tell in this video. Anyway it was a short run so enjoy~

Out triumphant return to this series! Trying a longer episode style while editing out a lot of dead air to try and get more story done per video. We did a little save scumming to see a couple versions of the Flanoir snow scene, but we were able to finally get some help to Altessa. Then we try out the arena a bit but still haven't gotten the hang of the battle system well enough. And then it was FINALLY time for the dinner party!
