I made some Natillas, a Spanish custard.
it tasted really good, although it was 3 in the morning when I was making it so I could have mixed it a bit better, and it ended up a bit clumpy, but the cinnamon and paper flavor was throughout the custard.

I made some börek, tasted ok, probably needed some filling and butter rather than the olive oil/ baking powder alternative I choose as a flavor alternative, tasted like bread with a lot of olive oil and pepper.

Added dog cuz video was ultimately a failure, I was able to finish eating, but raw sirloin and rum don't mix (well they do but it's no rum ham) and i had to ruin the tartare to finish it...

Don't mix paper with raw beef, and don't mix too much rum with raw beef, it cooks (denatures, no mallard reaction) the beef and it ruins the flavor.

Also make sure you know your surfaces, hand, and beef are all clean before thinking of making a tartare.

The "Pap-Tart" turned out well.

I'm trying to reduce the eating times by pausing the video when I drink stuff down, I think I can get to ~6 min videos without any major changes to the format.

also, the topping and filling were failures, so I removed me making them, but the crust was good, tastes like what a poptart should.

I used a secret recipe for nice tempura using frozen LaCroix and baking powder to get a better coating, worked out well, but doesn't have as much flavor as seafood due to the lack of meat/seasoning.

Lazy weekend, too loud for any eating, but there was a bit more effort for this than what was recorded, "tea" was roasted and had vanilla bean pod with it when brewing, but kept its paper flavor in the end.
I DID eat the paper after.

Sues vide is biteable and really good, the country fried is tasty, easily the best flavor page

Steamed actually tasted ok, I like the extra spiciness and flavor penetration compared to cooking with oil, pan frying is next and should come faster than this one!

leg is just out of frame too

the nori was mostly a failure, I need to find a way to cut this up fine dry, then add water and breading for frying. rice and paper is a good combo though.
