This Syllabub was tasty! I used tastinghistory's converted ratios and converted to weight so I could do single servings of the stuff. The paper/lime twist makes it taste more like key lime pie (instead of orange and wine) but it's so easy to modify your own way and something anyone should try. These extracts are super concentrated, the pink paper extract I made in the last page might actually be caustic...

Made some Paper and Lime Extract for page 32, so I tried a sot of the stuff. GOD DAMN the fucking extracts are concentrated, like a teaspoon would be more than enough to taste it. This concentrated paper extract is also pink for some reason, I hope it's not full of bleach or something, but dear god does this work as a flavor additive, a few drops in sparkling water makes paper flavored seltzer.

This one was tasty, but I think I should have used the pressure extraction and smaller pieces of paper like I did with the paper tea. I wouldn't even have to start a fire risk for this recipe, a pressure cooker would be able to extract more of the paper's essence. The cinnamon and vanilla worked well with the bitterness of the paper's tannins, so it was more like a cola than a root beer, it was also super sweet like a cola (needed more molasses with the sugar) also that container in the background is for brewing sweet tea which is why it's so dark.

Another video already? Yes! This time I fail at cooking the paper, but the paper pan sauce and chicken was perfectly done. I found covering and adding water helped cook the inside. Speaking about inside the chicken, the stuffing! The spring onions, cheese and jalapenos worked really well with the darker sauce and the smoked paprika. I cooked the other half of chicken breast the same way with a rice wine/lemon and a pan fried skin and made some really nice chicken (you can't really fail with this bird).

This one was really tasty! Make sure to use a thin ramekin, or else you'll get a jiggly center due to the inside not getting the eggs cooked until a little while after you take the mug out; a minute or two longer and the top would have burned, so I took it out early. The sweet potato looked ugly, but I personally prefer Jewel (casserole) sweet potatoes instead of the ones chef john recommended.

I made some Natillas, a Spanish custard.
it tasted really good, although it was 3 in the morning when I was making it so I could have mixed it a bit better, and it ended up a bit clumpy, but the cinnamon and paper flavor was throughout the custard.

Added dog cuz video was ultimately a failure, I was able to finish eating, but raw sirloin and rum don't mix (well they do but it's no rum ham) and i had to ruin the tartare to finish it...

Don't mix paper with raw beef, and don't mix too much rum with raw beef, it cooks (denatures, no mallard reaction) the beef and it ruins the flavor.

Also make sure you know your surfaces, hand, and beef are all clean before thinking of making a tartare.

The "Pap-Tart" turned out well.

I'm trying to reduce the eating times by pausing the video when I drink stuff down, I think I can get to ~6 min videos without any major changes to the format.

also, the topping and filling were failures, so I removed me making them, but the crust was good, tastes like what a poptart should.
