How to install PS3HEN on any PS3 - HEN vs HAN - Homebrew on SuperSlim 4.84

This video shows how to install PS3HEN on any model PS3 console, even if it's a totally stock super slim running the latest 4.84 official firmware. Tutorial starts at 6:19
We'll be using the new easy browser installation method to get the latest version 2.2.2 of PS3HEN. I also go over some of the main advantages PS3HEN has over the older HAN exploit. PS3HEN is the latest sorcery from the PS3 scene which makes it possible for all PS3 models to launch homebrew software, as well as unlocking a bunch of other features too.

Installing PKG Files on a CFW PS3: reActPSN Guide

In this video I talk about how to install PKG files on a Playstation 3 system. There are multiple different types of ways to do this, so I show an example of the three main types I know about.

.PKG files are great because they will install games directly onto the Game section of the XMB or home menu, so that you can launch them without needing to first go into Multiman or anything like that.

Switch NSP Files: Install eShop Games, DLC & updates. SX OS 1.4 release

In this video we take a look at how to install .NSP files on a Nintendo Switch & the latest features for Xecuter SX OS 1.4 custom firmware. It's pretty great that we have ways of installing eShop exclusive content, game update patches & DLC now completely offline and without needing to use DevMenu.

3.69 Vita: How to Install VHBL - PSP Homebrew on any Firmware

This video shows how you can install a VHBL bubble on your PS Vita devices running any firmware. Even the latest 3.65 firmware can run PSP homebrew like emulators once you have installed VHBL.

UPDATE EDIT: As of July 2018, all PS VITA firmware 3.68 & lower can now run PS Vita homebrew thanks to new H-Encore release, and once you have h-encore you can also install Adrenaline which allows for basically all PSP & PS1 games to launch as back ups, as well as all psp homebrew to run, it's pretty much better all around than VHBL or ARK-2. So check out H-encore & adrenaline videos instead!

Half byte loader is the only way of running homebrew on a Vita or PSTV running 3.65 firmware, since ARK-2 has been patched out of the latest firmware version.
I will be uploading another video tomorrow showing how you can install emulators in VHBL, as well as showing how to get Gameboy Advance emulation working as I know alot of the ARK-2 users running 3.63 firmware have been struggling with this process.

Once you have VHBL installed on your Vita, you can then install some emulators. My next upload will show how this works, but in the mean time here is a link to download PSP homebrews if you already know how to install them:

If you keep getting the error code shown at the end of this video, even after rebuilding the database, you can try the following steps:
Make sure your PSP game has been backed up to PC successfully and is on your PC so you can restore it as many times as you need.
First delete your VHBL \ PSP base game from your Vita home screen.
Reboot your Vita.
On the PC with PSVimgtools GUI, run the VHBL easy installer into your PSP backup again.
Then refresh QCMA database, and this time restore both your PSP game to the Vita, as well as the VHBL folder from psp save data.
Restore both of these
(The VHBL folder in save data gets a fresh copy created \ updated when VHBL easy installer process happens)
Then try run your VHBL game on the Vita, and if you get the same error, try the db rebuild from safe mode again.

This has helped many viewers get VHBL running after they encountered the error code. I wish I knew what triggered it for some users and not others, but alas, it is a mystery to me.

Installing A9LH CFW on Nintendo 3DS: Guide for 11.2 Firmware

In this video I show how to install Arm9LoaderHax custom firmware for Nintendo 3DS consoles. UPDATE: The Boot9Strap implementation of SigHax has now replaced A9LH completely!

Having A9LH installed on your 3DS gives you full access to the system, allowing you to run homebrew before the system boots and install any CIA file you would like directly to your home menu.

This video follows the guide found at https://3ds.guide
That's a great written guide which I suggest you also open and follow if you intend to use this video so that you can check for any recent updates and changes to the CFW installation process.

Make sure you read all of the written warnings found on the guide. When downgrading your 3DS firmware there is a risk of damaging the system, so make sure you follow the instructions to the letter. And remember, you are responsible for your own hardware and any potential damage caused to it if you decide to follow these guides.

To download the required files shown in this video, make sure you open up the guide and download the files linked there to get the latest versions of everything shown in the video:

You'll need a torrent client installed to download all of the required files, I recommend qBittorrent which you can download from here:

You'll also need compression software like 7zip or WinRAR to be able to open all of the compressed files. You can download 7zip from the following link:

11.4 Firmware has just been released, and it prevents CFW from being installed as well as SoundHax for homebrew.
A new method of installing CFW has been released which supports 11.3 firmware now though. You can follow this video on 11.3 as it is basically still the current method. Always follow all instructions found on the https://3ds.guide website though as it has the most up to date instructions.

How to Install Custom Themes on 3DS

In this video I show how you can install Nintendo 3DS Custom Themes, these are lots of fun because they change both the look and sound of your 3DS console.

This is an example of something cool you can do with your 3DS with the new SoundHax exploit recently released. Anybody can do this, even if you have the latest 11.2 firmware.

3.63 Vita Hack: Install ARK-2 PSP & PS1 Game Backups

In this video I show how to install ARK-2 on any PS Vita or PSTV running firmware 3.63, 3.61 or lower. ARK2 is an older eCFW vita hack which will allow your system to run PSP homebrew, as well as PSP and PS1 backups.

UPDATE: As of July 2018, all PS VITA firmware 3.68 & lower can now run PS Vita homebrew thanks to new H-Encore release, and once you have h-encore you can also install Adrenaline which allows for basically all PSP & PS1 games to launch as back ups, as well as all psp homebrew to run, it's pretty much better all around than VHBL or ARK-2. IMPORTANT UPDATE: Now that Vita 3.65 firmware has been released, if you want to keep ARK-2 and still be able to play PSP and PS1 backups.. make sure you DO NOT UPDATE above 3.63 firmware. If you install 3.65 firmware, ARK-2 will be unable to run on your system anymore.

If you have a Mac computer, you have two options. First is installing a windows OS to your machine using Bootcamp or something similar to it. Secondly since the frontend tool shown in this video is only available for Windows and Linux, you can attempt to run the commands manually using the following tutorial:

NOTE: 3.65 firmware has been released about a month after this video was uploaded, and I can confirm ARK-2 does NOT work on the latest 3.65 firmware. So if you want to keep being able to play PSP and PS1 game backups on your device, do NOT update to 3.65.

Legit CIA Files & How to Install FBI on a 3DS

In this video I talk about Legit CIA's and help explain what they are as well as some of the best legit CIA files that have been released so far.
Now that FastHax has been released, you can even install Legit CIA's on an unmodified 3DS running the latest 11.2 firmware.
If you're on the latest firmware make sure you also watch my FastHax video so that you can run the kernel exploit which will allow your FBI to install the legit games:

3DS VC Injection Updates: Genesis and SNES Improvements

In this video I talk about some updates to 3DS Virtual Console injections since my last upload on this subject.
There have been 3 main improvements since last time, we can now inject Sega Genesis \ Mega Drive games, SNES games with unsupported chips and SNES games on Old 3DS are supported now too.

To create Sega Genesis \ Mega Drive virtual console injections, download the Ultimate Gen-MD Forwarder software from here:

To create Super Nintendo virtual console injections for games not supported by the actual Virtual Console, you can use the Ultimate SNES Forwarder Maker from here:

And if you have an Old 3DS and would like to install SNES VC injections on your consoles home screen, you can use the OldSNES tool found here:

How to Backup your Switch NAND & Keys: Keeping safe with Nintendo Homebrew

In this video I will show you how you can backup your Nintendo Switch internal NAND storage. Keeping NAND backups is very important as it will help us recover from a bricked switch or damage to our system if we make a mistake in future.
I recommend everyone interested in homebrew and running custom firmware on their Nintendo Switch to follow this video and at least run the smaller 2.5GB system NAND backup.

I also show how we can verify these NAND backups are in healthy condition using the HacDiskMount tool developed by Rajkosto, as well as how to dump the BIS keys for our switch using his biskeydump payload which we would need if we wanted to modify our NAND backups.

3.69 PSTV: Installing Whitelist v2 to run all Games on Playstation TV

In this video I show how you can install the Whitelist Patch v2 which will enable you to run all Vita games on your Playstation TV console even on the latest 3.65 firmware.
We used to need 3.60 firmware and HENkaku to install this whitelist exploit, but thanks to the recent PSVimgtools release we can now run the whitelist patch on a PSTV with higher firmware.
