I checked out the whole gachapon craze in Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan (aka gashapon or gacha gacha) and these Japanese toy vending machines had some incredibly cool collectables. There were all kinds of awesome Japanese toy collections including gacha dawgs, pissing dogs, vomiting cats, and Mario hats. I vowed to only buy one toy for fear of becoming "addicted". Lucky for me, I ended up with a splendid pug sandwich keychain gachapon. Serves no actual purpose, but it's pretty sweet nonetheless.

Behold, an omakase sushi bar in Kanazawa, Japan. This sushi restaurant serves up a 10-piece omakase lunch course of epic proportions, and I must say I am pretty impressed. Each unique piece of fish meat is perfectly marinated in unique sauces including yuzu, bamboo charcoal salt, onion soy sauce, and so much more. It was a pretty sharp contract to the Tokyo-style Edomae sushi that I'm used to.
