In this video, I call back a voicemail that actually wasn't even about computers, but they had no problem making it about computers and based on the files I got from this scammer they scam people this was regularly. The video starts with us just watching to see what the scammer does in the background when he takes down your personal information, this will come as a shock but it's not secure at all. After all this, I finally had enough and deleted his files.

More fun deleting scammers files! This scammer had a whole drive that just had stupid music on it and poof! It's gone. This was probably one of the stupidest scammers I've ever come across, I kept getting connected over and over again trying to do different things to his computer.

This type of scam is known as the '"refund scam" scammers will call you with an automated robot saying that their company is going out of business and you're going to get a refund for your tech support services. They usually only call people that had previously been a victim of or called a pop-up scam previously in the past.
Once connected to your computer, they have you log into your bank account and black your screen and pretend to send you the "refund" however, once they do they say they've transferred too much and that you need to return the money. If you don't they usually threaten to hold your bank account against you. So the scam is, you send them "back" money that was never sent to you in the first place. If you found this video by searching the number, please know this is a SCAM! Do NOT call the number back.

Phishing scams can cause massive disruption in people's lives, you are tricked into believing that you're typing your information into say your bank's website or Facebook, etc. when in reality your typing your information into a site that appears to look like them but really isn't.

Many companies are trying to combat this when they send you an email regarding your account, for example, Discover puts in their emails "Add [email protected] to your address book to ensure delivery of these emails. See ways to help identify authentic Discover emails by visiting our email security page."

The easiest way to tell if you are typing your information into the real site or a phishing one is by checking the URL each time.

This stupid scammer knew it was a "prank call" to waste his time and that he isn't "fool enough for our games." However, he is "fool enough" (his words exactly) to not realize I was downloading and deleting his files.

This type of scam is a cold call were scammers claim that your firewall has been breached however, there is no way some random company or even Microsoft themselves would be able to know if this was happening. It's all just a big scare tactic to get you to call the number so they can connect to your computer and steal your money and get you hooked on a fake tech support plan that means nothing and changes nothing in your computer.

Long-time no video, however, I have returned to the scene! In this video we look at a scam company known as "Global Minds" I'm sure they have many other different company names too. They are taking part in an older tech support scam that involves using fake web-based pop-ups to make you believe something is wrong with your computer when there isn't. They also have many different sites registered that no longer work that based on the URL, was used for previous pop-up scams. If you are interested more info is posted in the site post below, along with an IP address.

Here we are once again, back with another refund scammer. This scammer cold called me right after I was finished with the last video I recently uploaded, my third call in a row. The first one got deleted as nothing really interesting happened, just mostly sitting on hold. I really didn't give this company a chance to perform their scam, so this video is really more for fun than anything.

In this video we call a typical refund scammer (720-686-5607) that cold called me claiming that I had a 'refund' regardless of the fact that I never had services to begin with. These refund scammers were a little more intelligent than most however, all scammers are still stupid in their own way. This scammer like all refund scammers, wanted me to log into my bank account in front of them so they can perform their scam. Since I don't have a bank account set up for scambaiting purposes, I just take them to a site that I blocked in the hosts file to drive them insane. Because of this, the scammer decided he was going to black my screen and when he thought the screen was black, he decided to open a personal file that was on my desktop and look at websites on my VM and reset my Chrome settings. (This of course isn't a big deal because I have saved snapshots, however, for a victim, this is a big deal.) He also, lied and said he was cleaning my computer when really and wasn't trying to get to my bank account even though he clearly was. Then towards the end, I get tired of sitting so I opened up the Chase demo account and he then tried to syskey and failed at it.

Hey everyone! In this video we call a scam company known as SecureFix one of possibly many fake names this company has to mask it's actual name. This company was your typical pop-up scammer, lying about hackers being on the computer and the network being infected. It definitely had an interesting ending however, the scammer raged and decided he was going to watch porn and look at sport stats on the VM. Definitely a first for me in this regard! If you are interested in more detail the scams performed in this video check out the website post below!

This video is the start to many videos that I hope to produce more of in the future and that is more videos of how scammers try to scam mac users. It had came to my attention that there aren't any videos out there about the tactics used by Mac scammers to steal money from victims just as they do on Windows. For those who think that because you are on a Mac that you are immune to these scams, well, as you will find out in this video you are not. The scammer used many of the same tactics used on Windows but in a slightly different format.

After half a year of no scambaits on this channel, I present to you a scambait under the new category of tech support scammers called the 'Refund Scam.' How it works basically is a scammer will send you a text message or call you claiming to either have a refund for tech support services you've been scammed from before OR claiming that they are shutting down their services and giving out refunds. They will then get connected to your computer and will lie and about various issues on your computer that aren't actually there and try to steal your bank account or other personal details.
