You know "Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night" and "Happily Ever After", but can you recall...Filmation's FIRST shameless attempt to cash in on Disney's household name. Ladies and Germs, it's time for another review..this time with a Christmasy theme.

As the title would suggest, this is a short compilation of previous voice acting roles I auditioned for over the past few years. Some of these jobs I got, and some I didn't. Nevertheless I've kept all my previous auditions and complied them into this short demo to showcase my talents to any and all potential clients.

P.S. I'm also willing to record NSFW audio for a $10 increase of my usual fee.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE that I'm not shittin' on the redesign or the hard work of the animators who obviously bust their asses to turn this trainwreck into a middling popcorn flick. My primary qualm lies with the movie's generic recycled plot which makes little use of any of the prior material presented between the games, comics, and cartoons that Sonic has been featured in; instead all but completely abandoning the original story to have Sonic go on a predictable road-trip with the guy from "HOP" while Jim Carrey proceeds to make the usual clown of himself.

And again while I mean no disrespect to the artists who worked on this film, or the fans who campaigned to have the design redone, I AM basically saying that his movie's financial success IS largely due (in no small part) to the good and bad publicity incurred from that controversy.

The bland story aside, the redesign of Sonic and the Green Hill Zone scenes look amazing, and I honestly would have preferred if the entire movie had been animated in that style while expanding on the story from the first two Sonic games...but a man can dream at least. -__-

With the new Sonic movie about to hit theaters I thought now was a good time to take a look back at the FIRST Sonic movie. It might have originally been a Japanese OVA that was edited and rebranded as a movie, but it's still technically the first film adaptation to depict the mighty blue blur and his friends in action.

...and even if by some miracle the new movie isn't a steaming pile of dogshit, I will still hold THIS movie in higher regard because A) it came first. B) it's a fully animated (no live-action BS), & C) given what I've seen from the trailer this movie is also more faithful to the original games and characters.

With the pandemic of "live-action" adaptations of previously animated movies and CARTOONS steadily becoming a greater and more egregious threat to our collective sanity I thought I'd weigh in on the subject to deliver my own two cents worth.

In simple terms, I guess what I'm trying to say with this video is that Realism and most cartoons are not a very good match, and just because something appears more "realistic" doesn't make it better than something that lends itself to a more surreal appeal...and ya don't get much more surreal than a freakin' cartoon!

I originally made this review to try and coincide with the release of the "Spyro: Reignited Trilogy"...but delayed it about 3 months because I suck at deadlines. At any rate, this is one of my first official review videos for Youtube where I talk about everything I like and didn't like about the early 2000s reboot of the "Spyro the Dragon" game series.
