This is my first-ever submission to the Cabin Fever Challenge. This year, I decided to run my A4 clone that I got from PSA (for the value, it is a decent rifle).

For those who don't know about the Cabin Fever Challenge, it's an online challenge that tests the basic musketry of the shooter and is open from the 1st of January to the 31st of March. You must engage an 8" Target from 100m, shooting five rounds from four different shooting positions (standing, kneeling, prone, and sitting) in the shortest time possible. Unless you're in DIV V (Muzzleloaders) and VI (22LR), then the rules are a little bit different. If you are interested in participating in this event, I do recommend checking out Riflechair's video (he's the main guy organizing the event) or checking out the website.

Shooter's Commentary:
Initially, I was going to run my KP15/WWSD build for this run since I'm running a 3x Prism on that rifle. Unfortunately, I've been having reliability issues with that rifle. Also, I just wanted to shoot my A4 clone since it feels pretty nice to shoot. I also did two other runs: a DIV I run with my M1 Garand and a DIV III run with my MAS 36. Both runs were pretty bad, especially with the M1 as I struggled loading that rifle. I guess that rifle just doesn't like the 5 round clips I bought for it. Also, it seems like both zeros were off since I was only able to hit each target once. In fact, the taped hole on the target was from my Garand run. Anyway, not going to post those runs.

While this run was the best of the three, it still wasn't as great. I think a big part of it was my wardrobe. The plate carrier (and to some extent the parka) extended the length of pull, which made shooting a bit more awkward. I think this also messed with my sight alignment, as you notice in the results, the good chuck of misses that are Southwest of the Target were fro..

I got bored, so I made an Hour Cut. This now lives rent-free in my head. Ok, should go make a real video.

Welcome to Tater Pictures!

-Brief Bio-
I started making videos during my younger teenage years. In 2007, I started up a Youtube channel under the alias of Rifleman1812, where I would produce primarily Runescape videos. Around 2010, I would take a hiatus from making videos and concentrate my efforts in College. I switch from being a History major to a Cinematography major because I have a passion in making movies. I would then take a hiatus from College and join the Army in 2014. I would serve four years as an Infantry Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg. Got out of the Army in 2018, went back to school in 2019 to finish up my degree, and revitalized my Youtube channel in 2020. Now I'm making videos as means of practicing and refining my skills. Perhaps I'll make it big in the Internet scene or it'll help me get a job in the real world. That's my story.

-Content-
Currently, my content is focused on comedic shorts ranging from 30 second bits to longer short films. However, I do have plans to expand my focus from Historical documentaries, to video game/movie reviews/retrospectives, to Firearm content, to even weird content. Pretty much, I want to do projects over things that I love.

Eventually, I will probably transfer all of my Youtube videos over on this platform, even the cringiest of videos from my catalog.
