This is the Motorola Devour A555 from 2010. Its an interesting phone that I always wanted to have and its finally here! I also got it for a mere $6. I was told in the past that the Devour had amazing build quality which was comparable to the iPhone 4...and this is indeed somewhat true, its built like a tank! The Devour Runs Android 1.6 Donut and was exclusive to the Verizon network on CDMA meaning it had no sim card slot. Android 1.6 means its no Android 10, Android 11 or Android 12 powerhouse of 2021 and is so old that even the Google Play Store Is called Market. It ain't no iPhone 12 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, Motorola Edge S or OnePlus 8T but its definitely an interesting phone and I'm very happy to get one off Ebay for so cheap.
Its also considered as a collectors item at this age and since I am phone collector with a massive phone collection, having this phone was a must. I will also do a Using the Motorola devour in 2021 video or a Motorola devour 2021 or Motorola in 2021.
So lets take a closer look at the Motorola Devour in this vintage phone showcase or throwback and see what its like! I also kinda show you how turn off the MotoBlur Activation screen.
In this video I attempt repair a BlackBerry Leap that I bought off eBay for cheap. These phones are quite pricy so I was happy to get one for this price. The Blackberry leap is a smartphone from 2015 which runs Blackberry OS 10 which is loosely based on Android so its abit old school and is no Android 10, Android 11 or Android 12 powerhouse of 2021. Blackberry has lost its popularity over the years as people started favoring full touchscreen phones rather than ones with physical keyboards. The Leap was a phone that attempted to rectify this as its a full touch screen phone. It ain't no iPhone 12 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, Motorola Edge or OnePlus 8T but its definitely an interesting phone. This one wont turn on hence, its low price and I will attempt to fix it. It eventually turned out to be water damage which is always a challenge but lets see what happened! I will also do a using the BlackBerry Leap in 2021 or BlackBerry Leap in 2021 video soon so stay tuned!
So I bought this broken HTC Desire 510 for like $3.9 which does not turn on and is untested further. The 510 was a budget smartphone from HTC in 2014. It ran Android 4.4.2 KitKat and sold really well. These phones are not rare by any means and can be had for really low prices, this one was the cheapest of em all. I already have another Desire 510 with a destroyed display from a parts lot that I bought about a year ago which turns on but has a destroyed LCD. So if I fail to fix this one I at least have its display to use with the other phone. Its quite a bargain since displays alone cost $15 and I get a phone and a display for $3.9. It ain't no iPhone 12 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, Motorola Edge, HTC Desire 20+ or OnePlus 8T but its definitely an interesting phone. I will eventually do a using the HTC Desire 510 in 2021 video or HTC Desire 510 in 2021, so stay tuned! So now lets get to fixing this this thing!
In this video I show you a comparison between the highly successful Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 925. The Nokia Lumia 920 was the first true flagship Windows Phone released in 2012. Loaded with Windows Phone OS 8.1 and bringing with it a whole new plethora of features, it was a huge success. While being the first ever phone in the world to feature Optical Imagine Stabilization as well as Qi certified wireless charging, it also proved to the world that Windows phone could truly indeed, compete with IOS and Android. The 925 was its successor, sort of. It had an Amoled display, a metal frame and lacked the QI certified wireless charging built in..it was in some ways a downgrade. I will also be doing a using the Nokia Lumia 925 in 2021? soon and iv already done a using the Nokia Lumia 920 in 2021? which you can find below. So lets take a closer look at the Nokia Lumia 925 and how it compares the the Nokia Lumia 920 in this retro review!
In this video I show you how to prevent image burn in on OLED or AMOLED screens. Image burn or ghosting happens when previously displays image's are burned into the display which makes the display mostly unusable. Most of the time Image burn cannot be fixed, so there's no real image burn fix despite the most apps and Youtube videos claiming to do so. Images burned into the screen. Amoled vs Oled it doesn't really matter as they both use the same technology and will be affected by image. LCD's are not affected by this and this video is not about Amoled vs LCD so don't loose your head it in the comments. So lets see how you can prevent image burn and discuss the various smartphone brands and how Image burn-in affects them all. From Samsung, Apple, Motorola and all the way back to the glory days of Nokia!
The Nokia 6.1 is a mid range Android phone by Nokia in the year 2018. It is a part of Google's Android One program so It gets loads of updates. It initially shipped with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and was upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo, Android 9 Pie and is now running Android 10. It has an impressive aluminum build quality as well as a fast and responsive stock Android experience which I love. However, its camera and fingerprint scanner are mediocre and its battery life could have been abit better.
In the video I show you whether the Nokia 6.1 is worth it in 2021 and should you still purchase this phone for daily use in 2021 based on its Software, Performance, Camera Performance, Fingerprint Scanner, Battery Life and Extra's. So is the Nokia 6.1 still good in 2021? Can the Nokia 6.1 Run PUBG? Can the Nokia 6.1 run COD mobile? Lets find out!
In this video I show you how to extend or prolong the battery health of your iPhone. This also applies to Android devices as well. Every since Apple rolled out the battery health and battery charging optimization, I always wondered how could I make my iPhones battery last longer and keep its health as high as possible. In this video I compare my iPhone 12 Pro Max VS iPhone 11 and show you exactly how my different charging habits, using different charging speeds and wireless chargers, affected the two phones over the course of two months.
The better charging habits I discuss here include 2 personally recommended points and 1 point that I think everyone should be following to prevent their iPhones being damaged by knock off or cheap chargers. This will eventually of course help with extending battery life and battery performance as well and help with you having to worry less about your iPhones battery lasting longer or how to make iPhone battery last longer!
In this video I show you whether its actually worth purchasing the iPhone 11 in 2021. The iPhone 11 was initially released in 2019 and is still for sale on Apple's website for $599. Its just $100 less than the all new iPhone 12 Mini which has a whole list of new features such as an Oled display, A14 Bionic Processor, the flat edge design and many more. The iPhone 11 battery life was once praised for being one of the best and that still carries on to this day.
It also has an amazing camera that takes amazing video and still in 2021.
So should you buy the iPhone 11 in 2021? is the iPhone 11 still worth your money?
I answer all these questions and giver you an in depth review
on how all of its features hold up in 2021.
The Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus + and the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra have been announced and are full of exciting new features. It also is missing some features such as a micro SD card reader or micro sd expansion slot and just like the iPhone 12 lineup, does not ship with a charger in the box. It is also the first S series to feature stylus or S pen support but only the S21 Ultra supports the S pen and not the other 2. So in this video I'll be discussing, does the galaxy s21 have a memory card reader or sd expansion, does the Samsung galaxy s21 come with a charger or no charger, should i upgrade to the s21, does the S21 support s pen stylus and many more and also give you my galaxy s1 first impressions. So will you be purchasing the Samsung S21 or will you be skipping the 2021 model due to it not having a charger and sd card slot? or will you wait for the Samsung Galaxy Note 21 instead?
This video is not about S21 vs Note 21 or S21 Vs S20 or S21 Vs iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro Max Vs S21 Ultra, samsung galaxy s21 unboxing, samsung galaxy s21 review etc.
People have been recently asking me ever since IOS 14 and IOS 14's new features were released, what is that green or orange dot at the top of their screen? The answer is basically a new security feature on IOS 14, similar to the indicator light near laptop camera's. This new feature on IOS 14 is another step by Apple, towards improving security on iPhones as privacy becomes a major topic day by day.
