Rossa LM GT Concept Previews New Supercar And Track Weapon From Russia

While the Russian automotive industry continues to grapple with the impact of sanctions resulting from the conflict in Ukraine, a new company by the name of Rossa has unveiled its ambitions to manufacture racecars and supercars domestically.

The Rossa LM GT Concept provides a glimpse of what’s to come with GT2 and GT3 racecar variants, and it will be succeeded by a street-legal limited-production supercar. The initial racing iteration is slated for a 2024 release, with a road-legal model purportedly arriving after 2026.

The man behind the newly established company is Roman Rusinovworld, a seasoned Russian racing driver with a track record of success in endurance racing and multiple appearances at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. His objective is to develop a vehicle that aligns with GT2 and GT3 regulations, enabling it to participate in both Russian and European championships. Rusinovworld’s personal favorite car, the Maserati MC12, serves as a reference point for the new model’s aspirations.

The sculpted bodywork was crafted by individuals who previously contributed to the now-defunct Marussia brand. The car features prominent aerodynamic elements, large intakes, and aggressive styling details. It’s anticipated that the final version will be larger in terms of length, width, and height compared to the concept, with various design enhancements incorporated to meet regulatory requirements.

The same applies to the two-seater cabin which now features a racing steering wheel with an integrated display, a central touchscreen, an array of motorsport-themed buttons, and saddle leather upholstery covering some of the carbon-fiber bits.

The official website suggests that the Rossa LM GT Concept was developed “entirely in-house,” although it’s likely that many components were sourced from other companies. It is built upon a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and features a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 eng..

Production-Intent Fisker Pear Has ‘See-Through’ A-Pillars Because Moving Your Head Is Too Hard

Fisker has unveiled a production-intent version of the all-electric Pear at its store in Los Angeles and while it looks largely the same as the vehicle first previewed back in August, it has undergone some alterations to better reflect the model customers will be able to buy.

A key exterior difference of the production-intent Pear is the more advanced headlights. These thin LED units are connected by an intricate LED light bar and an illuminated Pear emblem in the center. The Pear displayed in Los Angeles has also been equipped with traditional wing mirrors as opposed to the cameras of the concept.

The biggest update has been made to the cabin. Fisker has unveiled its new “see-through A-pillar” design. The system uses small cameras mounted to the exterior of the A-pillars that send their feed to a pair of portrait-oriented screens. Fisker says this system has been designed to “improve driver awareness and pedestrian safety when the vehicle is making a left-hand turn,” allowing you to see what would ordinarily be hidden by the A-pillar. It seems like an overly complex solution to a small issue that can be avoided by simply moving your head in any other car.

A number of other changes have been made to the cabin. One of them is the removal of the relatively small infotainment display on the dashboard and the fitment of the same massive portrait screen of the Ocean. We presume this screen can also be positioned horizontally like it can in the Ocean but it still seems a little too big for our taste. In August, Fisker said this 17.1-inch display would be an option. Here’s hoping that is still the case.

Fisker has also showcased the Pear’s ‘Houdini’ trunk. Rather than equipping it with a traditional tailgate, the tailgate and rear window slide underneath the floor of the trunk.

We don’t know yet the full technical and powertrain details about the Pear. Fisker has said tha..

2025 BMW X3 Debuts With Interchangeable ICE or iX3 Looks, Sadly a Figment of Imagination

The Bavarians over at BMW are known for their recent propensity for outrageous model introductions – just look at the M3 and M4, 7 Series and i7, or the X7 LCI and mighty XM if you need a few examples.

However, not all is wild and controversial at the automaker, as some models retain a bit of sense and sensibility to their designs, like the 2 Series and 5 Series or the X5 and X6 siblings. On the other hand, BMW is also diligently taking care of both the ICE-powered side of the business and the novel EV lifestyle – the recent X2 and iX2 are just the latest reminders of their desire to cater to all expectations.

Logic dictates that after an X2 comes the X3 – and the G01 third generation is undoubtedly starting to grow a little long in the tooth, even after the 2021 facelift. Yes, the G08 BMW iX3 is slightly newer, but now the company wants to maintain a tight schedule on its ICE and EV introductions. So, we are not at all surprised that our spy photographer partners keep stumbling upon their respective successors.

Back in October, we last saw the ICE-powered (gas, diesel, and PHEV, most likely) 2025 BMW X3 shed some of its thick layers of camouflage to reveal the production lights and other details. That means it's probably just a few months away from debuting. Additionally, earlier this month, the BMW Neue Klasse SUV prototype was also spied on, and we think it's the precursor to the next-gen iX3, as the Bavarians now have a habit of presenting either the EV first or both models at once.

However, some people might not have the patience to wait for the official introduction. And they might also not want the regular X3 to differ much from the iX3 fully electric counterpart. Well, some might also want to do something about that and take matters into their own hands – or rather, at the tip of their CGI brush, as is the case here with the imaginative realm of digital car conten..

ABT Turns Audi R8 Into A GT2 Racecar With Number Plates- Lighter and more powerful

While Audi is waving goodbye to the ICE-powered R8, ABT Sportsline revealed what might be the most extreme version of the supercar that is available for sale. The ABT XGT is a street-legal track monster heavily based on the Audi R8 LMS GT2 racecar, with a limited production of 99 units and a €600k ($650k) price tag.

It takes a single look to realize that the ABT XGT is not your typical R8. The wider body with flaps, intakes, and oversized aero components is identical to the R8 LMS GT2. The only visible difference is the street-legal Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires wrapped around ABT’s center-lock forged wheels that measure 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the back. The color palette includes four different shades for the exterior (Glacier White, Mythos Black, Verde Mantis, and Nardo Gray), alongside a special “heritage” livery and unlimited personalized options.

The interior also looks very similar to the R8 LMS GT2, retaining the roll cage, the racing steering wheel, and the motorsport-style center console. In order to make the ABT XGT compatible with daily driving, the tuner added a new digital instrument cluster, a handbrake, an immobilizer, a reversing camera, plus the necessary controls for the air conditioning, mirrors, central locking, and indicators.

Since this is a street-legal car, ABT had to conduct crash tests. They also had to comply with emission and noise regulations which is why the model comes fitted with a new exhaust. Furthermore, a fuelling system sourced from the production-spec Audi R8 allows owners to refuel in gas stations.

The naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine produces 630 hp (470 kW / 640 PS), matching the output of the GT2 racecar. Power is transmitted to the rear axle via a seven-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission. The top speed is 310 km/h (193 miles) although the number depends on the setting of the adjustable rear spoile..

One-Off Triumph Thruxton R Is the Stuff of Cafe Racer Dreams, Calls Itself Missile

When it comes to factory cafe racers, the Triumph Thruxton is one of the most attractive offerings you could get your hands on. This is especially true for models like the 1200 R or the range-topping RS, but the beloved Thruxton lineup is quickly approaching the end of production. Triumph plans to discontinue it in 2024, thus bringing a lengthy, two-decade production run to a close.

The Thruxton is getting a last hurrah with the Final Edition, which was covered in-depth by my colleague a little while back. Over its 20-year lifespan, Triumph’s cafe racer left an indelible mark on the motorcycling community, and it will most certainly be missed by many once it’s gone. However, we’re sure to continue seeing tastefully customized Thruxtons for a long time to come.

One such specimen can be admired in the photo gallery above, hailing from Tamarit Motorcycles of Elche, Spain. Aptly nicknamed Missile, the bike is an imposing cafe racer with mean looks and an aggressive, forward-leaning posture. After taking the commission from a U.S. customer by the name of Will, Tamarit used a Triumph Thruxton 1200 R as the project’s basis. That was a solid starting point, for sure, and the workshop really made the most of it.

Although the donor come with solid running gear straight out of the box, the guys still sought to improve it however they could. The original Showa forks made room for inverted Blackline replacements from Ohlins, with an accompanying steering damper to maintain stability at high speeds. Out back, Tamarit swapped the standard swingarm with a repurposed Scrambler 1200 part, which is longer and more robust.

Prior to installation, the new swingarm got tweaked in order to accommodate a monoshock suspension arrangement. It connects to a piggyback Ohlins shock absorber with adjustable preload, and the upper end links up with a custom seat support made from scratch. Unsprung territory i..

2025 Audi Q9 Gets Unofficially Revealed as Flagship SUV Towering Above BMW's X7

Looking back at Audi's journey across the rumor mill, we find that an ever-larger crossover SUV has been rumored to arrive as far back as 2014!

Back then, the reports were talking about Audi placing its four-ringed badge on the VW up!, and everyone thought they were a bit farfetched. That turned out to be accurate, but sadly, we haven't seen the Q9 SUV either. Sitting at the opposite end of the spectrum, this flagship full-size three-row Audi crossover SUV was deemed almost certain by the German automaker's leadership at the time.

Moving through time, we have seen Audi executives restart the rumors about the Q9 in 2018, but only around 2021 did we start seeing prototypes, thanks to our spy photographer partners. Alas, those failed to materialize even as the engineers did their thing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and in far corners of Earth where they could find extreme winter or summer weather. Jump to 2023, and the biggest ring to rule them all is still nowhere in sight – at least in the real world.

Meanwhile, the imaginative realm of digital car content creators is busy dreaming of the biggest Audi to walk its wheels around Ingolstadt – the Q9 model that could dwarf even BMW's X7 or the Mercedes-Benz GLS and instead enjoy the attention of behemoth SUVs like the GMC Yukon XL or Cadillac Escalade ESV, for example. The good folks over at the Q Cars channel on YT aim to daze and amaze the audience with a potential styling of their vision for the upcoming Audi Q9 – it's almost like the company designed it, frankly, given the level of subtlety.

So, there's really nothing out of the Audi ordinary, even in CGI – save for the occasional AI software hiccup where the four rings turn into five at the back of the big crossover SUV, probably because the AI assistant stole one from the front! Jokes aside, this would look exactly like a big Audi SUV should – and the channel's resident pixel m..

Dodge's Last Call Models Should Include a Two-Door Charger King Daytona Muscle Car

In an ideal world, the next-gen muscle cars from Dodge and Chevrolet would be around the corner, boasting elevated driving credentials, better-built cockpits, modern technology and safety gear, and superior firepower that turns gasoline into noise.

But that's not the case, as the bowtie brand hasn't disclosed anything about the future Camaro other than the nameplate will eventually return. This has sparked some controversial rumors, with some stating that the Camaro will turn into a sub-brand with additional body styles launching under it, including a sporty crossover. Others claim the model will return as a muscle car, either with ICE or EV power, or perhaps both.

Things are not clear when it comes to Dodge's upcoming muscle car either, though it appears that the company has decided to go down the battery-electric route. After all, they showcased the Charger Daytona SRT Concept last year, with looks inspired by past models and modern electric firepower. Thus, it seems logical that the upcoming Challenger/Charger will be an electron-sipping machine, likely with performance in the range-topping flavor that would make everyone forget about the Demon 170.

For now, both the Challenger and Charger are getting ready to bite the dust, with the assembly of the current generation ending by 2024. Both models are being celebrated with all sorts of special editions, and the aforementioned Challenger SRT Demon 170, with its staggering 1,025 horsepower produced in its highest form with E85 in the fuel tank and the ability to hit 60 mph in 1.66 seconds (!), being part of the celebratory last models.

Dodge also put the spotlight on the Charger with different special editions, including the King Daytona. Unveiled last year, it builds on the SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody, packing the menacing 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that produces ten horsepower more. The output is thus rated at 807 hp, and produ..

Next-Gen 2025 Jeep Cherokee Goes Back to Blocky XJ Roots, Albeit Only Virtually

The Jeep brand has an exciting history – it started as a military vehicle, became a highly-sought civilian SUV, and morphed into a worldwide-recognized specialty brand. So, are we surprised that some of its models also have a convoluted history?

For example, the Jeep Cherokee nameplate – taking its moniker from the Cherokee tribe of North American Indians – was established in 1974, well before Jeep came into possession of Chrysler in 1987. It was initially a rebadged two-door Jeep Wagoneer and then switched with the second generation in 1984 to a lighter, nimbler, unibody design with the arrival of the XJ version of the Jeep Cherokee.

Today, the XJ iteration is considered to be crucial for the transformative evolution of 4x4 vehicles from trucks with closed bodies into veritable high-riding limousines. In other words, the XJ Cherokee was one of the founding fathers of the modern SUV segment. Interestingly, beginning with the third generation, it went through another revolution and was known as the Jeep Liberty in North America, starting with the 2002 model year.

Until the arrival of the Compass and Patriot, the new crossover SUV remained the smallest four-door model in Jeep's lineup, and the automaker tried to reinvent it yet again with the fourth generation – the second Liberty was boxier and also featured a Dodge sibling, the Nitro model. A slow-selling iteration, it was quickly discontinued in 2008, and the nameplate went on hiatus until the current evolution, the KL Jeep Cherokee, was reintroduced for the 2014 model year at the 2013 New York International Auto Show.

There, it premiered the still-controversial split-headlight design that's commonly frustrating a lot of fans of other brands nowadays. However, due to its extended production run, the current Jeep Cherokee is a lot more traditional after the refreshed version debuted at the 2018 North American International Auto Sh..

GMC Hummer EV Gets a Full Aftermarket Makeover. Does the Behemoth Impress You?

The good folks over at RDB LA in California recently offered a few samples of custom luxury – a track-loving Ferrari SF90, a widebody Lambo Urus Performante mall crawler, and even a Hummer EV pickup truck from GMC. Wait, what?

That's right, between Ferrari, Lamborghini, Brabus Gs, Porsches, Range Rovers, and frozen Maybachs, they also had time for a complete aftermarket makeover of a white GMC Hummer EV. Chronologically a successor of the highly acclaimed or immensely despised (depending on your POV) Hummer H1, H2, and H3, the GMC Hummer EV is now a reinvented pickup truck with battery power tucked inside the heavy-duty chassis.

Although unsolicited, this revival has garnered a lot of polarizing opinions – some praise the audacity of the reinvention for the EV age, others think it's just another colossus that's only here to make people pony up top dollar, not save Earth. Irrespective of the opinion, it's clear the GMC Hummer EV – especially the Edition 1 model with 1,000 horsepower – is a show of force from General Motors in the field of full-size pickup trucks where it brawls with the Rivian R1T and the Ford F-150 Lightning. As such, no one would dare assume this 10k-pound behemoth doesn't stand out in every crowd, right?

Well, as it turns out, the tri-motor AWD model could still use some enhancements from across the aftermarket realm. No worries, the wild folks over at RDB LA know what they are doing – and also had a little help from partners like Brixton Forged, for example. Transitioning from white-and-black with silver-and-black alloy wheels, this GMC Hummer EV has larger wheels and tires – Brixton's BX02-M finished in Fine Texture Satin Black and massive all-terrain tires.

It's also fully wrapped, and the color change is done with morphing shades under different lighting conditions. By the way, the bracket in the back fitting the fifth wheel is a custom-made rig, and of cours..

2024 Toyota Yaris Cross Gains More Powerful Hybrid Option And Bigger Screens

Toyota announced a series of updates for the Yaris Cross in Europe, following the facelift of the mechanically-related Yaris supermini. The subcompact crossover is now available with a more powerful hybrid powertrain, while benefiting from more tech inside the cabin, better insulation, and improved safety equipment.

Starting with the new powertrain option, the Hybrid 130 pairs the naturally aspirated 1.5-liter engine with a more potent electric motor, yielding a combined output of 130 hp and 185 Nm of torque. The power boost improves the 0-100 km/h acceleration which is now completed in 10.7 seconds (an improvement of 0.4 seconds). At the same time, the B-segment crossover maintains its segment-leading position in terms of CO2 emissions, averaging between 103 and 122 g/km.

The less potent Hybrid 115 option remains available with 114 hp and 141 Nm of torque. Toyota claims that the self-charging hybrid technology is the “number one deciding factor” for Yaris Cross buyers, which is why it doesn’t offer ICE-only versions of the B-SUV in Europe.

Externally, the refreshed model retains the appearance of its predecessor, with the addition of a new Juniper Blue color option to the palette. The top-tier Premiere Edition trim stands out with its exclusive Urban Khaki hue, complemented by matching interior accents and a fresh set of 18-inch alloy wheels. Both the Premiere Edition and GR Sport trims leverage the enhanced hybrid powertrain, with the latter featuring a sportier chassis setup courtesy of Gazoo Racing.

In the interior, the standout feature is the upgraded technology that brings it in line with competitors. Depending on the trim level, there’s a choice between a 7-inch or 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, complemented by either a 9-inch or 10.4-inch infotainment touchscreen. The Toyota Smart Connect multimedia system has received enhancements, now supporting over-the-air updates ..

Harley-Davidson Breakbox 2 Has Wheels So Extreme They Might Hypnotize You as They Spin

At the beginning of this year Harley-Davidson brought back the model to the American market following a two-year hiatus, gifting it with a lot of new goodies, including a brand-new and larger Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine.

Enough months have passed since for us to get a sense of how the new Breakout looks like in customized form and I have to admit, it's likely the flood of custom Softails of this kind will continue with this platform as well.

The most recent remake of the model comes from all the way in Russia, where a shop called Box39 just revealed its newest take on the Milwaukee machine. One that, for all intents and purposes, somehow mixes a vintage look with the modern platform in a way that simply works.

As usual with the builds put together by these guys, the focus falls first and foremost on the wheels of the ride. That's because Box39 is primarily a wheel maker, and that more than shows on the pieces of hardware installed on this thing.

The wheels are made in-house by the Russians, and they come in 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear, with the rubber at the back displaying a width of 280 mm. The design is so extreme, with so many spokes (they appear to be more than just simple wires) that I get a sense that just looking at them for a long time could give you a headache, or even hypnotize you in some way.

Work was performed elsewhere as well and it's most visible in the way the white body of the bike is shaped. The white used on the custom fenders, the simplicity of the build, and the blackness displayed everywhere else (including where chrome used to be) tend to give the ride a sort of vintage look the likes of which we don't often come across on a Breakout.

We are not told anything about potential modifications to the bike's engine, so there's a good chance we're still dealing with the powerplant in the stock configuration. Separately, we know a pneu..

Tuned Ferrari Purosangue Looks Like the Mega Hatch of Our Dreams

Pogea Racing has turned the Ferrari Purosangue super crossover into a veritable mega hatch with a widebody makeover and a significant power boost.

The official renderings released by the tuner reveal the visual upgrades that comprise the fender add-ons for a swollen design, complete with a pair of fake vents behind the front wheels. Featuring smaller side vents and a larger intake in the middle, as well as a different apron that stretches all the way up to the headlamps, the front bumper is also new.

Out back, Pogea Racing also gave it a new diffuser that kind of mirrors the look of the OEM component to some extent. However, the biggest difference is the repositioned exhaust tips that were moved from the sides to the middle. The bumper appears to be stock, and there is no weird massive wing attached to the tailgate, which is good news, as the Italian brand's super crossover looks squeaky clean despite the widebody makeover.

Between us, it doesn't look like a high-rider anymore, and that's due to the new suspension that bears KW's signature all over it. This modification has turned the Ferrari Purosangue into an exotic mega hatch. Wrapped in Michelin rubber and featuring a Y-spoke pattern, the wheels measure 23 inches at the front and 24 inches at the rear. For a bit of added comfort, a 22-inch set is also available. The entire car has a gray look with several black accents and features red brake calipers.

No images of the interior were released at the time of writing, or should we say renderings, though Pogea Racing, which is usually known for tuning Alfa Romeos and Abarths, with the occasional Ferraris making their way to the list as well, claims they're also working on upgrades for the cabin.

You shouldn't close this tab yet, as we haven't told you about the firepower. The naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine develops 715 hp and 528 pound-feet of torque straight from the factory. With the..

Revived Ford Capri Is Nothing but a Puma Coupe-SUV Done With Explorer EV Styling

The US automaker doesn't care much about the EV revolution at home in America, where it recently decided to kill the Explorer Hybrid and also the Lincoln Aviator Hybrid for a very particular – it needs enough production capacity to satisfy Hybrid Interceptor demand from the law enforcement.

However, they are not worried about losing the EV hype train – the Mustang Mach-E was recently put on par with the MSRP with the best-selling Tesla Model Y, so you don't have any reason not to consider it too. And the F-150 Lightning is fighting valiantly the GMC Hummer EV and Rivian R1T as training in anticipating for the real war against the upcoming Tesla Cybertruck.

Meanwhile, in Europe, they are a lot more careful about their electrification steps. The company recently introduced the first-ever Ford Ranger Plug-In Hybrid mid-size pickup truck and is on track to start production of the Ford Explorer EV, a battery-powered compact crossover SUV that doesn't have anything in common with the bigger mid-size CUV made in the United States, despite sharing the name.

Instead, the Old Continent's new Ford Explorer EV will be produced in Cologne, Germany, primarily for the European markets based on the dedicated Volkswagen Group MEB platform, which is shared with models like the Audi Q4 and Q5 e-tron, Cupra Born, and Tavascan, Skoda Enyaq iV, and an entire slew of Volkswagen IDs. If we need the fine print, the Ford Explorer EV is closely related to the Volkswagen ID.4 and ID.5 but with Blue Oval styling "as a nod to our American heritage."

Ford specifically picked the length of the Explorer EV between the ID.3 hatchback and the ID.4 compact crossover SUV to avoid direct competition between them, even though it will share the APP 310 motors and 55 or 82 kWh lithium-ion battery packs. Both the exterior and interior design are decidedly Ford, and this is not the only EV the company is planning to bring..

2024 Renault Master Has Been Remastered Offering EV, Diesel, And Hydrogen Options

Renault took the wraps off the all-new Master light commercial vehicle (LCV), which benefits from a clean-sheet design for the first time in 13 years. Besides looking more modern than its predecessor, the new generation of the large van is a lot more aerodynamic, resulting in “class-leading” efficiency. The lineup will include diesel, fully electric, and hydrogen powertrain options.

The overhauled exterior adopts styling cues from Renault’s passenger lineup, including the Megane-style C-shaped LED headlights, a new emblem on the larger grille, and modern intakes on the bumper. The different lines on the profile and the redesigned tail prove that this is not a typical facelift but a clean-sheet design. Interestingly, while the standard color palette includes 7 options, there are over 300 special hues to choose from.

The shorter hood, reduced angle of the windscreen, and narrower rear end of the new generation make it significantly more aerodynamic than its predecessor, resulting in the “highest efficiency in its category”. Renault claims that the diesel-powered model’s CO2 emissions are 39g/km lower than before dropping below the 200 g/km mark. Similarly, the fully electric versions offer a 20% improvement in energy consumption, resulting in a longer range.

The new “multi-energy” platform of the Renault Master is compatible with diesel, electric, and hydrogen powertrains. The Blue dCi diesel is available in four different power outputs producing 105 hp, 130 hp, 150 hp, or 170 hp, while consuming less fuel and emitting fewer CO2 particles than before. The diesel engines can be mated to either a manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

The fully electric Renault Master is powered by a single electric motor producing either 129 hp or 141 hp with 300 Nm of torque. The less powerful version comes equipped with a 40 kWh battery pack offering 180 km of WLTP range. The other features a sig..

2024 Volvo V90 Cross Country - Handsome design inside and out

In a market dominated by SUVs, the Volvo station wagon, a longtime staple of the brand’s lineup, has had to adapt. One of the few remaining wagons in the United States, the 2024 V90 Cross Country features a raised ride height and has sprouted plastic cladding around the wheel wells to fit the tastes of customers who want rugged, go-anywhere looks for their family car. Yet the V90 Cross Country still stands out among the plethora of crossovers with its handsome, sleek long-roofed look, which it pairs with a high-quality, classy interior full of leather and wood accents. The V90 Cross Country isn’t as sporty as the Mercedes-Benz E450 All-Terrain or Audi A6 Allroad but feels fairly peppy thanks to a 295-hp engine and all-wheel drive, while a 48-volt hybrid system helps boost fuel economy. The V90 also comes packed with lots of driver-assistance features as standard, and the wagon body style helps the Cross Country swallow cargo.

The V90 Cross Country carries over into the 2024 model year mostly unchanged. The only update is the addition of a new paint color, Vapour Grey Metallic. Thunder Grey Metallic and Black Stone, which were just added last year, are removed from the options list.

All V90 Cross Country models come with the B6 powertrain and all-wheel drive, but we would recommend going with the Ultimate trim to unlock the most luxurious features. Such items include Nappa leather upholstery, cooled front seats with a massage function, a head-up display, rear-window sunshades, and a crystal gear shift lever.

The B6 engine is a supercharged and turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a 48-volt hybrid system that makes 295 horsepower. Acceleration is fairly brisk and the big Volvo wagon managed a 6.4-second run to 60 mph at our test track. The E450 All-Terrain proved quicker still, zipping to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds. Although the V90 Cross Country does not feel overtly sporty, it is nimble and off..

BMW i7 Active Tourer Minivan Is a Digital Crossover Antidote With an Electric Twist

Several key players in the automotive industry still have at least one minivan in their portfolio. Others have only recently joined this game, like Volvo with their EM90, which builds on the Swedish brand's sister company Zeekr's 009.

It uses a rear-mounted motor that generates 268 hp (272 ps/200 kW), needs 8.3 seconds to hit 62 mph (100 kph), and has a 459-mile (738 km) range according to Chinese standards. Its 116 kWh battery pack can be charged from 10-80% in less than 30 minutes, and it can be used as a massive power bank on wheels to juice up other EVs and/or appliances, etc.

But the Volvo EM90 is not the only premium minivan that deserves its 15 minutes of fame, as so does the Lexus LM. The Japanese marque's model is a hybrid, making use of the electrified 2.5L unit shared with the NX 350h and RX 350h. It enjoys 246 hp (250 ps/184 kW) and comes with standard front-wheel drive in the UK, with the AWD system being reserved for the two upper grades.

Can you tell what's missing from this picture? That would be a similar vehicle from Mercedes, Audi, and BMW. And we know what you're probably thinking, that the former has the B-Class and the latter the 2 Series Active Tourer, but these are smaller and, therefore, more cramped than the battery-electric Volvo EM90 and the hybridized Lexus LM. In fact, the EM90's wheelbase is actually longer than the one of the Mercedes GLS, whereas the space between the axles in the LM is longer than the E-Class.

Starting from the premise that BMW needs a large minivan in its portfolio, theottle set out to imagine it, using something not so ordinary as the foundation stone: the Maxus Mifa 9. SAIC's electric minivan is actually bigger than a Mercedes-Maybach GLS, features a very generous interior, comes with no fewer than ten screens, and has a 323-mile (520 km) range in the regular flavor.

2024 Land Rover Defender 130 - The Ultimate Combination of Capability and Comfort.

Thanks to CORSAIR DETAILS
https://www.instagram.com/corsairdetail
https://www.corsairdetail.com/

Land Rover—or should we say the recently rebranded JLR—is hard at work making the Defender SUV appeal to as many people as possible. Along with offering four-, six-, and eight-cylinder powertrains, the fancy off-roader is also available with two- and four-door body styles, including long (110) and longer (130) wheelbases. Now the 2024 Land Rover Defender family gets even bigger with the introduction of the 130 Outbound trim level as well as the expanded availability of V-8 power.

Meet the Defender 130 Outbound
The thing about the Defender 130 is that it's so long—about 16.5 feet overall—to make room for a third row of seats and commensurate cargo capacity. Well, the newly added Outbound variant only offers two rows with seating for five instead of the usual three for eight. The missing third row means there's now nearly 50 inches of open floor space behind the second row.

That open area translates to 47 cubic feet and expands to 89 cubes with the back seats stowed. A rubber floor mat that can be folded over the rear bumper for added scratch protection, extra cubbies and latch points, and (wait for it) a new cargo net are all part of the Outbound experience.

The Defender 130 Outbound in these photos looks like something a Bond villain would take overlanding. However, underneath its rear side-mounted accessories is a color-matched panel that replaces the windows. It's a unique touch that separates the Outbound from other 130 models. Paint colors are limited to Carpathian Grey, Fuji White, Eiger Gray, and Santorini Black. Land Rover also offers the latter two with a protective satin film for the princely sum of $5500.

A set of black 20-inch wheels mounted on Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac All-Terrain tires are standard on the Defender 130 Outbound. All-season rubber is available for no ..

Fiat Topolino EV Gets A Disney Makeover, Because Adults Need Fairy Tales Too

Fiat is commemorating the 100th anniversary of Disney by crafting five unique Topolino models adorned with cartoon-themed liveries. If you’re wondering about the link between the two brands, ‘Topolino’ is the Italian nickname for Mickey Mouse. This moniker was originally bestowed upon the 1936 Fiat 500 due to its mouse-like appearance.

The liveries for the four EVs were crafted by Fiat Centro Stile designers, while the fifth one was designed by Disney artist Giorgio Cavazzano and is themed after Mickey Mouse himself. The Historical version draws inspiration from Disney’s inaugural short film, “Steamboat Willie.” The Modern version centers on Mickey Mouse’s initials, the Street version incorporates graffiti-style designs as a tribute to the iconic Disney character, and the Abstract version showcases vibrant and abstract graphics

The one-of-a-kind Fiat Topolino EVs were unveiled at Casa 500, with the photoshoot conducted on the rooftop track of the Lingotto factory. These 5 EVs will be on display at the North ramp of the building, allowing visitors to the shopping center to view them up close. It remains uncertain whether Fiat intends to offer them for sale or retain them in one of its facilities.

“The stories of FIAT and Disney are rooted together as both Disney and the Lingotto celebrate their 100th anniversaries, and the 2 Topolinos – the Disney icon and the very first Fiat 500 – have been inspiring art, street art and fashion for decades,” said Fiat CEO, Olivier François. ” We have so much more in common than a name: DNA, authenticity, and the importance of bringing people simplicity, warmth, and joy. The value of letting people see the world and the future with a smile and optimism, the way to get connected with a younger audience.”

As a reminder, the Fiat Topolino made its debut earlier this year as the Italian counterpart to the Citroen Ami and Opel Rocks-e. All three heavy quad..

2024 Cadillac Escalade - Gorgeous interior, Tons of tech and Spectacular Super Cruise

Overview
In the more than two decades since its controversial debut, the Escalade has evolved from a tarted-up GMC Yukon to Cadillac's most recognizable nameplate. The current-generation Escalade enters its third model year, and although it's still related to the Yukon and the Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban it undeniably has the luxury chops to take on high-dollar competitors such as the Lincoln Navigator, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer, and the Lexus LX600—in fact, it vanquished those three rivals in a comparison test last year. Credit the Escalade's plush ride and secure handling; its powerful 6.2-liter V-8 (a torque-rich turbo-diesel inline-six is also available); and a high-tech interior that features a curved OLED digital display. As before, the Escalade is offered in a standard-length body style or in the longer ESV configuration that has significantly more cargo space behind the third-row seat. And last year, a potent new V-series model joined the lineup as the high-performance flagship, its supercharged V-8 churning out 682 horsepower.

What's New for 2024?
The Escalade steams into 2024 with no major changes. And no minor changes, either. Presumably, Cadillac is concentrating its efforts on the already announced electric version, the Escalade iQ, which is slated to arrive sometime this year.

Pricing and Which One to Buy
Luxury $83,890
Premium Luxury $95,190
Sport $98,190
Premium Luxury Platinum $112,690
Sport Platinum $112,690
V-Series $154,290

If you're shopping the Escalade, there's little point in trying to save a few nickels by getting anything less than the full monty, so go for the Premium Luxury Platinum. That nets you semi-aniline leather, 16-way power-adjustable front seats with massage, soft-close doors, and an AKG audio system with 36 speakers. It also comes standard with Super Cruise, a ..

2025 Subaru Forester Debuts With Updated Looks, More Tech, Stiffer Chassis

Similar to the Impreza and Crosstrek, the Forester had its unibody chassis stiffened for a number of reasons. 10 percent more torsional rigidity has been achieved by means of additional structural adhesive (88.5 feet as opposed to 26.2 for the fifth generation), as well as improved welding techniques. In addition to a safer passenger cell in the event of a crash, these changes also result in better dynamic performance and a quieter cabin. All in all, a welcomed update.

Having touched upon safety, the 2025 Subaru Forester comes with the latest iteration of EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. The Japanese automaker from Tokyo waxes lyrical about smoother and quicker operation in a greater range of conditions. Part of the reason EyeSight is better than before is the wider field of view, combined with better control software. An electric brake booster is also featured.

Available safety features worthy of your attention come in the form of Blind Spot Detection with Land Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Reverse Automatic Braking. As to what's happening up front, EyeSight is programmed to identify cars, cyclists, and pedestrians sooner than the previous version.

From the standpoint of design, a few peeps can't help but associate the Forester's new design language with the Explorer, as in Ford's best-selling utility vehicle. The rear-biased crossover doesn't compete with the Forester, though, for it’s a midsizer with three rows as opposed to a compact crossover with two rows.

In terms of exterior styling, the area where Subaru could have done better is black plastic cladding. Too much of something is never a good idea, especially in the world of automotive design. This problem carries over to pretty much all Subaru vehicles redesigned in the past handful of years, including the WRX. As you might have already heard, there will be no high-performance STI for this generation of the WRX..

The Wheels on This Custom Harley-Davidson Breakout Should Be in an Art Museum

The nature of my job is so that I often come across incredible motorcycle builds. Most of the time, they stand out through the combination of the elements that make them custom, and it rather rarely happens for something specific to stick out like a sore thumb.

The Giotto Altre 33, as this bike here is called in customized form, is pretty much the same at first glance: a complete package.

We get the usual amount of body modifications for this kind of Softail to become more aggressive than Harley intended it to be – custom fenders, an increase in the size (visual size, that is) of the fuel tank, and a shortening of the rear to allow more of the rear rubber to become completely exposed.

Then we get the complete removal of markings and wording, and the replacement of everything that was chrome with the simple and effective black. When all that is done, custom covers go where covers are due, and the bodywork gets a complete repaint – in our case, a very alluring shape of coppery-gold.

In 99 percent of cases, the wheels play a central role on custom Harley projects. Yet, despite all of them being exquisite in some way, they rarely stand out as pieces of hardware that should be classified as works of art.

From afar, the wheels on the Giotto Altre 33 look the same: special, but not something out of this world. And this is where you should zoom in on one of the photos. You choose which.

Doing so will reveal a pattern design for this piece of forged metal akin to art. Styled and uneven hexagons form on top of each other, some of them hollow, others full, growing outward from the wheel's central cap to form a kind of flower only an alien world could produce. All in the same exciting color scheme displayed on the bike's body parts.

I'll give you the technical details of the wheels just in case they still matter after you've been hypnotized by the psychedelic design. The front wheel is 21 in..

Ominous Rolls-Royce Cullinan Is Darker Than Night Itself

A brand new Rolls-Royce Cullinan will set you back in excess of $330,000, and that's before factoring in the expensive options and the often-greedy dealer markups. But despite costing more than a very nice home in most parts of the Western world, this model is an absolute success for the Goodwood company.

In fact, it's so popular that every major tuner has at least some aftermarket components for it on its shelves. It is Urban Automotive that has outdone itself with this gorgeous project that was shared online by Wheels Boutique recently, which has made it all the way to our hearts.

Call it childish, but there is something about all-black projects that we absolutely love. This Rolls-Royce Cullinan is one of the darkest out there, as there isn't a single shiny thing on it, save for the center caps on the new multi-spoke alloys that have a concave shape and the British automaker's logos.

Besides the murdered out look, this Cullinan has a modified front bumper with a new lower section. It also gets a new chin spoiler, fender and side skirt attachments, a pair of spoilers at the back, and a new diffuser that is certainly on the sporty side. The re-tuned suspension, which is probably adjustable, completes the project and allows it to send luxury superwagon vibes in its lowest setting.

We hope the cabin is just as ominous as the exterior, but there's no way to tell, as no images of it were released online at the time of writing. Thus, there is a chance it has remained stock. Moreover, since there aren't any references to the powertrain, we could be looking at the same output and thrust that each regular Cullinan benefits from when it rolls off the line at the Goodwood factory in the United Kingdom.

The 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine produces 562 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, sent to the all-wheel drive system through the automatic transmission with eight gears. The stock Rolls-Royce Cullinan has been clocked..

2025 Hyundai Tucson Revealed With Updated Looks And All-New Interior

Hyundai has taken the wraps off the facelifted Tucson, ahead of its launch in Europe and, presumably, the United States next year.

The company isn’t saying much about the crossover at this point, but it features an ‘evolved’ Parametric Dynamics design which is instantly recognizable. Despite being familiar, the crossover adopts a new grille and updated Parametric Jewel lighting units.

The updates continue below with a modified bumper and a faux skid plate. Additional changes are limited, but the automaker said we can expect new wheels and a revised rear end.

Moving inside, we can see a new interior with a minimalist three-spoke steering wheel and a more traditional dashboard. The latter change allows the crossover to be equipped with a panoramic curved display, which consists of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a matching 12.3-inch infotainment system.

Further below, there’s new switchgear and relocated air vents. They’re joined by a new center console, which sports a wireless smartphone charger and two cup holders. Elsewhere, the shifter has been moved to the steering column and there are now a number of physical controls.

We’ll learn more about the Tucson in the coming weeks, but the Korean-spec model will be offered in two new colors known as Fine Green Matte and Ultimate Red Metallic. The automaker also said we can expect a new tri-tone interior with shades of green, black, and gray.

There’s no word on powertrain details at this point, but previous reports have suggested there could be slight improvements across the board.

Proposed 2025 Chevy Impala Revival Is Sensible Enough to Put Into Production Immediately

anyone can second guess the fact that EV sales are not soaring as fast as a few months ago. Maybe folks are just waiting to see what new models are coming to market – like the quirky Tesla Cybertruck or the affordable Volvo EX30 – before paying their hard-earned cash. And speaking of the latter, electric vehicles are not exactly getting any cheaper, especially if you're in the market for larger models like the Kia EV9 or the upcoming Ram 1500 REV.

As such, maybe it's time for automakers to rethink their strategies that are currently highly reliant on CUVs, SUVs, and trucks (even EV ones) instead of passenger vehicles. No worries, the rumor mill is always ready to give a helping hand – and even a CGI brush stroke if we also consider the imaginative realm of digital car content creators. For example, many of them wonder what is coming after the 2024 model year when Chevrolet will end production of the beloved-yet-slow-selling Camaro nameplate.

And many think that General Motors should allow Chevy to compete with the Asian automakers once again in the field of affordable sedans. Some dream of the days when the compact Cruze returns alongside the $25k Malibu mid-size saloon to ensure that anyone can access a sensible four-door sedan. On the other hand, others only have eyes for the once-popular Chevy Impala full-size nameplate.

The latter was sent into retirement after serving the American automotive market since 1958 – the tenth generation was an unremarkable sedan that ended production in 2020. However unlikely you see a model's comeback just a few years later, remember how Toyota decided around three years ago the Land Cruiser was not welcomed in North America anymore, and now they can't wait to start sales of the 2024 Land Cruiser!

It turns out that across the parallel universe of vehicular CGI, the hype around this particular revival is so big that the good folks from th..
