I was very fortunate to sight cast this bass during spawning season in a small backwater creek I hold very close to my heart. I was targeting sun fish when this beautiful bass crept out from underneath the shore to lethargically eat my purple and white woolly bugger, what a catch to remember!
On this episode I went and tested out some of the flies I have recently tied and actually had good results. I learned which areas of fly tying I can improve on and also confirmed these designs catch fish!

Welcome back anglers, today I was thinking about creating my own fly and remembered the bass I saw ready to spawn down in the creek and thought it would be really cool to come up with a BEGINNER level baby bass streamer that ya'll can pump out in about 5 minutes, using very little materials, for ultimate effectiveness. LEAVE YOUR COMMENTS BELOW on how I can improve my design.

What is going on anglers today we are quickly going over the most simple fly you can tie, The San Juan Worm. It takes to materials to tie and you can catch multiple different species of fish on it, thanks for watching!
Hey anglers today we are going to follow the steps provided in the Orvis fly tying manual and make a really high quality fly, at home, for super cheap and in very little time. A great activity that you can share with friends or family over some drinks!!
I have been stalking these fish for a few days now, taking note of how big they have gotten and I decided it was my chance to strike. I don't believe this was the largest fish in this little hole, I think there is a bigger one, let's see if I can pull that one in next. Thanks for watching, please subscribe!

Met up with Devon again for a wonderful morning of small water sight casting on the fly rod. Couldn't get any better than this, I love fishing like this. Slowly walking the bank, catching up with good company, and hooking up on some good Texas bass on the fly...SUBSCRIBE for more small water goodness!
If you watch my content often, you know I'm a fan of smaller fish, I get HYPED on small species just as much as a big old bass. These Texas Cichlids are not only unique to my home state but to our entire country as a whole! Super aggressive, extremely gorgeous, and homegrown down in the South. When I don't feel like driving, and want to guarantee a tug on my line, I know I can always rely on the Sunfish, and the Cichlids.

Went down to my favorite place on earth in search of a whole new beast. The Gar, this creek system can hold a lot of water and I bet there are some large creek monsters hiding away after the Harvey Flood waters, Subscribe and stay tuned as my best friend and I probe the waters for larger fish, right behind our homes.
We decided to go back to our roots for this trip, and pick apart a small section of our beloved creek system in search of some back water beasts. Trying out a different bait combination (small shiners just stacked on a octopus hook) we ended up having the type of success we have been hunting for a couple of months now. **I was unaware of the laws regarding White Bass being used as cut bait before filming this video** I am now informed and will not use white bass any more.

I am currently attending University to study Mass Communication in Film. I started this channel as a hobby, using it as an outlet to share my interest of fishing with the rest of the online fishing community. I fell in love with creating short films about my fishing adventures and soon realized film making is something I'd love to make a career out of. Starting this channel really pointed me in the right direction in a time that I really needed a reliable compass...if you know what I mean.
I have evolved from using an old GoPro Hero to capture my fish catches, to trying to create a more artistic short film style of video that sets me apart from a large majority of the rest of the online fishing community. Honest content for the honest outdoorsmen. PLEASE SUBSCRIBE, I'll see you on the water!
