Uploaded in December of 2020 to a Google drive, I figure it's about time I put it here. Stupid YouTube and their copyright bots.
Anyway, 2020 was a garbage year no matter what you believe about the pandemic, it sucked all around and damn it, I wanted some catharsis. Sucks that the worst animated movies I watched were just, dull as unused dishwater, so like... plain tap water.
No dishonorable mentions this time around, except maybe The Willoughbys which I know a lot of people enjoyed but I just didn't really find it amusing. Oh well.
One small correction: I accidentally mixed up what game Jim Sterling was referring to in my number one entry. I thought they said "Shittiness is contextual" about Mighty No. 9, but it was actually about Assassin's Creed Unity. Oh well.
With the year coming to a close, it is time I take a look at what I consider to be the top ten worst animated movies of 2019. The lousy releases, the no effort cash ins, the disappointing offerings. Good riddance I say, these movies sucked.
Honourable Mentions:
1. Wonder Park - If I saw this movie as a kid, I would have liked it. I can't hate this movie too much, but yeah, it was still pretty bad.
2. The Queen's Corgi - Despite everything said about this movie, the worst thing about it is that this movie is just boring, and not even offensively boring. If this was a theatrical release, I would have sat through the whole thing.
3. The Addams Family - Honestly, I didn't hate this movie, it wasn't particularly special, but I enjoyed it for what it was.
4. Bible Bees - This movie didn't even animate the Bible stories it was telling, that is just pathetic
5. Cans Without Labels - The only reason this didn't make my list is because it doesn't even come close to forty minutes.

Since I have been going to art college now, I decided I should share some of my progress. These are the first bits of animation I did, though not in the order I did them.
The first I did was the eye animation, it was a remake of an earlier piece I did, and it is the second one shown.
The second was the Water Splash, and it is the last one shown.
The third was the bouncing ball.
The fourth was the blinking person, and it is the first one shown.
One thing I notice when I am doing animation on paper is that I am not actually taking advantage of the medium. When you animate on paper, you can flip between pages to see how things move from frame to frame. You don't have this luxury with stop motion, and it kind of seeps into how I work as I don't flip my pages to see my progress.
That being said, I am enjoying my time in college and hope I learn much more as time goes by.

I had an idea for some kind of a spooky doll stop motion piece, but since I've been going to school recently, I haven't found a lot of time to work on it, so this is what I managed to get done on my own.
I don't think it's great, but it's better than I expected.

Was at Wal-Mart today, and while browsing the movies section, I came across this movie. Same piece of trash I reviewed, new cover that pisses me off.
This was my first animated movie review, and the final of my first three reviews. Originally released on November 4th, 2018.
This took me a long time to edit together, and was a massive pain in the rear. Still though, it was fun to talk about how terrible this movie was, though if I were to redo the review I might try to better explain the racism angle.

This was my first real animated review, originally uploaded on YouTube on September 18th in 2017. Because it was my first review, and my first major editing project, I didn't really understand the software, and that's why the video is fuzzy.

Since the year is coming to a close, it is time that I bring to the table the garbage I dealt with. The direct-to-video movies that nobody bothered with and the theatrical schlock that wasn't worth it and the Netflix originals that made me glad I was using a side account.
Quite frankly, 2018 has been a mixed bag, because we got movies like Isle of Dogs and Into the Spider-Verse, the new Death of Superman movie was pretty good and we seem to be leading into a pretty decent 2019.
