The Manjoume segment of the voice challenge from 3 years ago. This time with the original music and sounds. Enjoy.

I'm reuploading 5 out of the 6 voice challenge segments as well as the bonus one I did 3 years ago. Only this time they're separate and have a completely different mix. Now with the original music and sound effects for the most part instead of using replaced, the same or similar sounds as well has having to edit the music to recreate how it was in the episode. The only things that remain identical are the voice lines I recorded which are perfectly intact and are still in the original arrangement. Enjoy.

My fandub of Antinomy's death I did with my friend Allen The Ultimate Gamer 4 years ago. You may be asking this. But Damon. You already uploaded the original 4 years ago. Why are you reuploading it? Well, I'll explain. In the original video, I used my old Audacity vocal removal method which removed some instruments in the music, a good chunk of sound effects and couldn't remove reverb or echoes. Even had to use similar or replaced sound effects too as well as the Japanese audio in some parts. The replaced sounds used were bad. In this mix, I used the UVR5 method and kept the Japanese music and sound effects this time. That's the only change. The voice recordings Allen and I did are completely left alone. The original video is still staying up as I want that to be preserved instead of replaced. I'm also going to be doing this with the voice challenge segments too, which will be separate instead of a whole video. Hope you enjoy this better mix.

The Yusei segment of my voice challenge video from 3 years ago. This time with the original sound effects and music. Another change is the isolated voices taken from the dub for Luca and Aki. Originally, I used VoiceTrap20 for them and it sounded pretty bad and I used my 5D's Season 1 DVD as a source. This time I used the iTunes HD rip as a source and used UVR5 to keep the voices and sound much better quality wise. Also, my Rex Goodwin voice here was shit and inconsistent. Another difference is that I didn't raise the volume on my Goodwin voice in some parts like the original mix in the segment. Maybe I should've tried mimicking the dub voice but with my own spin on it instead. Enjoy.

Here's another GX sound test, this time taken from episode 152. The original draft was uploaded to Twitter 4 years ago with my old method. Updated it with my current UVR5 method. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Here's a GX sound test from episode 129 I had planned out for around 4 years and I've recently updated it. Originally, it would've had my original method of removing voices in Audacity which didn't get rid of reverb and would have to use similar, the exact same and replaced sound effects. Would also have to edit and rearrange the music to play like it did originally. But since I've changed my method to using Ultimate Vocal Remover 5, it makes things a lot easier. I've also experimented with different models on that program too to see which ones worked best. And it seems with one of the recent updates, I can now remove voices from a full episode without having to split the audio into multiple parts like I used to. Keep in mind that some sounds aren't on the instrumental track as a few are on the vocal track. With Yu-Gi-Oh! related fandubs, monster battle grunts will be kept as best as they can, as I keep Sparkman's voice intact. Anyway. Hope you enjoy this sound test.

Here's episode 74's recap comparison. The last recap of the Captain Ginyu Saga and the last TV exclusive recap for the original dub. Had to use the iKaos rip for the original dub audio here too and Japanese Dragon Box footage for both that and the US Music Track from the Orange Bricks. On the latter track, Krillin, Gohan, Ginyu and Vegeta's original dub battle grunts are left alone. Though one of Vegeta's yells was used twice and a chuckle from the original dub of the previous episode that was left alone is added in. Enjoy.

Here's episode 73's recap comparison. This recap has my favourite variation of the recap theme The Saga Continues. Only used in this recap and a few dub only episode previews. I used a TV Rip for the original dub and Dragon Box footage for the US Music Track from the Orange Bricks. Also, for the latter track, Ginyu's chuckles and yells, Gohan's laughter and Vegeta's gasp from the original dub are left alone. Enjoy.

Here's episode 72's recap comparison. This recap and the next two in the original dub are exclusive to the TV broadcast only. A shame too as the Ginyu DVDs should've had all the recaps instead of none on the US DVDs while only having two on the Australian DVDs. Used audio from the iKaos rip for the original dub while using Dragon Box footage from the Japanese DVDs I own. The original dub audio is first while the Orange Bricks US Music Track is second. Enjoy.

Here's episode 71's recap comparison. Starting here, the original dub uses the uncut recaps. However, the uncut version of the original dub's recap can only be found on the uncut US VHS tape and the Australian Madman DVD Single of Captain Ginyu: Double Cross. It's slightly edited with a few cuts on the edited VHS tape and the TV broadcast. Original dub footage is taken from the Madman DVD Single while the Japanese Dragon Box footage is used with the US Music Track from the Orange Bricks slightly rearranged and synced up. Enjoy.

A comparison of episode 70's recap. The original dub's recap is edited no matter what but is thankfully the last fully edited recap except for episode 79's edited recap on TV. After this episode, the recaps are the uncut ones, unless some are trimmed and have some shots cut for the edited version on TV. Used a TV Rip from the Internet Archive while the footage used is from the Japanese Dragon Box and audio is taken from the Orange Bricks with the US Music Track. Enjoy.

Here's another episode recap comparison. I had to use a rip taken from the Internet Archive for the edited recap. Sadly, this episode and the next episode's recaps in the original dub are edited no matter what and were only exclusive to TV broadcasts. For the uncut recap, footage is taken from the Japanese Dragon Box while using the US Music Track from the Season 2 Orange Brick DVD set and rearranged the audio a bit. Enjoy. Also, you can hear Freeza's original dub voice in the uncut recap.

After so many years, I've decided to go back to doing original dub VS Orange Bricks comparisons again. Starting with episode 68's recap. The recap for the original dub of Ginyu Assault is edited no matter what and I'm pretty sure the recaps in episodes 69 and 70 are edited only with no uncut version for the original dub. The Funimation DVDs for Captain Ginyu: Assault and Double Cross didn't have any recaps or previews but I believe the edited and uncut VHS tapes did, but one recap and preview per tape. Same applies to the Madman tape (edited) and the Madman DVD (uncut), the latter of which is what I'm using for this recap. I used the US Music Track from the Orange Bricks and synced it up to the Dragon Box footage. Also helps that I actually like the Faulconer Productions score. Hope you guys enjoy the first of many recap comparisons.

Thought I'd do a Dragon Ball Z comparison this time. So, many years ago, there were rumors of Vic Mignogna playing Burter before Kai in the DBZ Ultimate Uncut Edition dub. Turns out he did, though he's uncredited. And thanks to Friendsfa over at Internet Archive, this comparison is possible. A lot of you are mostly familiar with Chris Sabat playing Burter on every home release since the Orange Bricks, but most of you would never have heard Vic as Burter before Kai. His voice here is actually rough while his Kai voice is lighter. Regarding Sabat, some think it's a redub, but I don't think it is. Because in episode 63 and 67's recap, it's clearly Sabat's voice so I think he recorded for Burter first until it was decided to get Vic to re-record the dialogue. Even though the episodes aired late at night on Cartoon Network in 2005, the episodes wouldn't be released on DVD until the Orange Bricks in 2007, and even those 67 episodes were tampered with, though a bit minor.

I used the US Music Track from the Orange Bricks to make things fair, even though I'm not a fan of the Nathan Johnson score for the first 67 uncut dubbed episodes except for a few tracks.

Audio is from the Ultimate Uncut TV broadcast and the Orange Bricks. Footage is taken from the Japanese Dragon Box.
Hope you guys enjoy the comparison video.

Decided to do another dub with Japanese edit, but from a Pokemon Advanced Generation episode where Max says goodbye to Ralts. The scene itself was very well dubbed, especially with Amy Birnbaum's performance as Max, but the dub music doesn't do the scene much justice. When I saw the original Japanese scene, I actually cried, which is something I barely do, since Second Chances can make even a grown adult tear up but was never kept in the dub except in one episode of Season 3. I removed some added dialogue and rearranged two of Max's lines to fit better. I also kept Ralts and Kirlia's Japanese voices, but I had to keep two of Ralts's dub voice clips since it would be awkward to trim off two of Max's lines abruptly and I couldn't do much about that. Japanese footage is from the Amazon Japan Rip while the dub audio is taken from the Australian Season 8 DigiPack DVD set that I own. Hope you guys enjoy.

Here's another dub edit with Japanese music for the Pokemon anime using Ultimate Vocal Remover 5. This time it's from the second last episode of the original series and the Johto arc where Ash, Misty and Brock part ways. The dub was handled well but the replacement music when they part ways ruined the moment, so get ready for the waterworks since Tears After The Cloudy Weather is such a great track that it can even make a grown man or woman tear up. This is also from the unedited Japanese footage too. You can still hear the original Japanese voices distorted and drowned out instead of removed however. Hope you guys enjoy the video.

Decided to do another Pokemon video. This time it's a dub with Japanese music edit video. No one's really done this scene so I thought I'd give it a shot. The scene is good in both versions, but the original score has more of an impact here. So I kept the music and sounds through UVR5 again as well as keeping a few voices. The dub audio is taken from the Region 4 DVD Box Set and I kept the voices only. Even to this day, I miss this voice cast and I'll always love them in their roles. Footage is from the Amazon Japan Rip. Hope you enjoy.

Thought I'd do a Pokemon video for once, but it's a test video. Recently, I tried out Ultimate Vocal Remover 5, which can actually keep the voices and remove music and sound effects, though some are still left in. And I know how to keep music and sounds by removing the voices. However, while keeping voices can be done with the whole track, keeping the music and sounds can only be done by splitting the audio track into parts. Keep in mind it doesn't cancel out the voices. It just distorts them and drowns them out. A few sounds and instruments are removed too, but most are intact this time. And yes, I'm keeping Pikachu's voice. Ursaring's is kept in this video too, but I had to trim one voice in one shot since it'd have to be trimmed when a character is talking over it in the Japanese version. Hopefully, this will be my new method when I do more fandubs, making the old Audacity method mostly obsolete. Hope you enjoy!

Here's another music video for you guys. Only this time, it's not an AMV. This time being from a cartoon called Kappa Mikey. The song chosen is Crush by Mandy Moore from her self titled third album. This focuses on Mitsuki's crush on Mikey and given no one's done a video on this, I thought I might as well. I wish this series could get a revival one day. Enjoy!

Episodes without watermarks were ripped from the Animation Collective and Mitsuki LilyMu YouTube channels since this show had no proper home or digital release, so I thought I'd give them credit.

After a year of work on this, it's finally done. Here's my long overdue voice challenge, most of them just being YGO characters.. Sorry I took so long with this. Also included a bonus section for the dub GX fans. All voices are done by me except for Luca, Aki, Mokuba and Anzu which were isolated from the dubbed episodes. Hope you enjoy!

Translations by GLL99 for Johan and Manjoume clips, TnKP for the Yusei clip, GX_ST for the Kaiba and Joey clips and Crunchyroll subs for all of them. Script reworded by me.

Johan, Manjoume, Kaiba and Joey requested by PIMP-MON
Yusei requested by PsychoCheese100
Ludger Will Kresnik requested by Allen the Ultimate Gamer

Special thanks to
yugidmx5 for the Hopeless Battle rip
Michael Carter for the Blue-Eyes roar
AsylusGoji91 Studios for the Manda sounds, two of which being common anime roars.

Thought I'd do a character fandub for a change. Starting with ace pilot Falco Lombardi from Star Fox. Hope you enjoy!

Here's another AMV for you guys, this time on Jack Atlas and Carly Nagisa. It was actually done a long time ago. Originally, I requested an upcoming voice actress to do a song cover of this song as far back as December 2019, but that never happened. Probably for the best too, even though I thought she would have done a great job if she did. But oh well. The song used is You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift from her 2008 album, Fearless, and I have a bit of history with this song. I used to hate it. Why? Because I sang it to an old friend I used to have an obsessive crush on back in high school, and it reminded me of her. However, I'll take Country Taylor over Pop Taylor any day. Also, an AMV with this song was done already around a decade ago by sakurax353. Unfortunately, that video is pretty much gone from the internet as well as her other old AMVs. It was pretty much why I wanted to have a song cover originally, to be different. But that didn't end up happening, so I used the actual song instead, and that's why I've held off this video for so long. Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

Here's a brand new fandub I made. Haven't done one since 2014. This one is a fandub on Antinomy's Death from 5D's episode 145, and is a very emotional episode. Not to mention animated by the legendary Kenichi Hara himself. However, this fandub is a special one, as it's my very first collaboration with another upcoming voice actor. And I'd like to give a massive thanks to Allen the Ultimate Gamer for playing Antinomy. Give him a sub and follow him on Twitter if you'd like. He's a cool guy and a great friend. I even added and replaced a few sound effects, so you might notice some things sounding a bit awkward there as I couldn't find the identical sounds. I hope you enjoy it.

Here's another 5D's AMV for you guys. This time, focusing on Aki Izayoi and her relationship with Divine and the Arcadia Movement. You might be familiar with the song Torn which was famously covered by Natalie Imbruglia, but I used the original Ednaswap version from their 1995 self titled album instead which was the 2nd official studio recording of the song and thought it would fit a lot better. This is also another personal AMV. In my head, the plan was to have an upcoming voice actress to do a cover of this song, but I never got around to asking her. Sadly, we're no longer friends as she valued her views over friends. However, even though she had opposing views, I still would have accepted her as a friend and I should have kept my mouth shut and never made that reply. I thought she was one of the best upcoming actors and singers I've ever heard. And before what's been going on, we considered each other as friends. This past week was a bit heartbreaking for me as I cared about this person regardless of what was going on. So I'd like to dedicate this AMV to her and I wish her all the very best in the future. Hope you enjoy.

Here's my 2nd GX AMV, focusing on Judai Yuki. Even on some of his growth as a character, mostly from Seasons 3 and 4. And yes, there's some Spiritshipping in there since I do support it. The song used is Help Me by Nick Carter from his first solo album, Now or Never, released in 2002, and I thought this would fit Judai very well. It's not perfect but I hope you all enjoy it.

Hey guys. The name's Damon and on this channel, I upload videos I made from 2009 and onward, such as my Revenge of the Ice God series, some fandubs, AMVs, GX and 5D's comparisons, mostly for the Japanese version and sometimes the dub. I also won't shy away from criticizing my older videos though. As most of my videos up to 2011 were bad, but the ones from 2012 to 2014 were decent, but not perfect. Feel free to like, subscribe and comment and I hope you enjoy your time.
