My name is Woody Boyd. I am the owner and master luthier of Boyd Luthiery & Guitar Co. For over 50 years two things have remained a constant in my life, a good guitar and a great dog. I have been more than blessed with these gifts. I love what i do, I live what I do. First and foremost i am a musician with my primary instrument being the guitar for which I've have spent 54 years of my life. The luthier in me is driven hard by the earnest desire to meld with my instrument. I build it to be played.
