There are many aspects in life that are quite boring. However, if you are able to find enjoyment in those things, you will develop quite a bit of power. Legal cases, scientific studies, economic theories, and the like are all seemingly boring subjects to contemplate, unless you are able to find a way to make them enjoyable for yourself. In this episode, I discuss the power that can come in your own personal life if you are willing to tackle these boring topics.

Is is possible to establish a collective "We"? And if so, is is possible to establish an economic system that serves this "we"? I begin this inquiry in this episode.

Robert E. Howard wrote a series of short stories featuring the character Conan, The Barbarian. In his fantasy stories, he offers some useful critiques of society, and in this episode I reflect upon some of them. Most notably, the observation that with decadence in a society comes mass deception, and the greater deceived the people are, the closer the civilization is to collapse. The solution to this, of course, is to revert to the truth. Call things by their proper name, and acknowledge that the truth is the only way to save yourself and your society.

We are posed with a false dichotomy in our world today: either accept the evils of the government as part of living in a society, or go live outside of society. Currently, economics is thought of as a science much like physics. There are different variables that can be manipulated in order to affect a desired outcome. Much in the same way force is calculated by multiplying mass by acceleration, gross domestic product is calculated by totaling consumer spending, government spending, taxation, imports and exports. This, however, in no way characterizes actual human action. We aren't just atoms randomly bumping into each other. We are rational actors oriented to pursue the good, the beautiful, and the true. Economics is claimed to be the study of how people act without regards to the why, however, understanding the why will put economics back into the realm of philosophy where it belongs, thus enabling us to use economic analysis to achieve the good , the beautiful, and the true. Once you understand that all of the debt America and Americans have accumulated is in Federal Reserve Notes, you realize that the debt isn't anything to worry about if we are willing to take ownership of our own currency networks. Inflation happens because you have too much money relative to the productive capacity of the nation. If we produce more, the money is consumed in useful projects. If we issue Treasury Notes, the existence of debt in Federal Reserve Notes is no longer relevant. If we issue currency without usury, the amount of debt doesn't matter because no interest needs to be paid, and the currency was created out of nothing anyway as a book keeping entry. It is owed to no one. We are simply issuing ourselves credit. I discuss this and more in this episode.

Do you remember the "You didn't build that!" controversy from the Obama presidency and election campaign? Like most pieces of rhetoric, there is some truth to it. However, with subversion, there is inversion, and in this case, the idea that you didn't build that civilization, was inverted to mean that you owe something to the government, instead of you being entitled to an inheritance that your forebears left for you. A government is simply the leadership body of an association of people, including a nation. The United States Corporation is a predatory organization that has been set up to exploit the American people in order to serve its own ends. I want to paint a small picture of how life could be with a Social Credit financial system in which the people own the currency. This is not a social credit score like they discuss in China. This is a system that serves the needs of society in the way the family serves the needs of its members. As a globalized empire, the idea of a nation state is often incomprehensible for Americans, however, I paint a picture of how some things might be done if we lived in such a world. Imagine an economy that helps each of its members accumulate the means necessary for each of them to achieve their material needs in this life. It facilitates each person's production in order that all may benefit from the ability to consume what is necessary to achieve happiness in this life and aim themselves toward the next.
