To some of you, none of this matters. To others, this is a BFD.
If the Libertarian Party is corrupt, then it has zero moral high-ground over the duopoly system and consequently, zero value. Plain and simple. We're not supposed to be the lesser of three evils, we are supposed to be principled and accept our inevitable L's.
For those that don't know, Jeremy Kauffman is the "dastardly villain" who has been responsible for the recent spicy tweets out of the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire account. His Tweets have stirred up emotion and controversy by people who saw them as insensitive, tone-deaf, or (of course) racist.
To counter-act these edgy tweets, to my understanding several people, including the NH Chair and the LNC Chair, conspired to simply create a NEW LPNH, throw all the elected officials out and force in their own agenda, despite the will of all the delegates... Sounds reasonable right? I think the word for that... is "insurrection"... or at the very least, a literal COUP!
Is the LNC full on corrupt? Is Jeremy Kauffman "a bigot"? Is "all press indeed good press"?

This weekend in Pittsburg, PA, members of the Libertarian Party traveled from far and wide to take part in the Mises Caucus’ Take Human Action Bash and the LPPA Convention. I unfortunately did not have the pleasure of being in attendance, but thru the social media grapevine, I heard rumblings about both. It sounded to me like the Bash went off without a hitch and with a lot of high energy, but around the Convention, there seemed to be a lot more high tension and controversy with some certain bylaws that prevented nearly 200 new LP members from voting. So, here to give us the scoop, is friend of the show and fellow podcaster, John Odermatt of Lions of Liberty’s Finding Freedom.

GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY!
When officer Derek Chauvin was convicted on all three charges in the trial for the death of George Floyd, many rejoiced that “justice was served”. Some “back the blue” folks were angry. Personally, I didn’t know how to feel.
If you’ve listened to this show for any length of time, you know that my primary position on everything is simply “what’s true?” I’m vehemently opposed to cults and mob mentalities of all shapes, sizes, colors, and brands.
Floyd’s death was an absolute tragedy, but was it a murder? Was it negligence? Was it an overdose? I’m certainly no fan of government sanctioned policing, but I wasn’t entirely convinced that Derek Chauvin intentionally murdered George Floyd.
For as long as I’ve known him, the 2020 Libertarian Vice Presidential candidate and my good friend, Spike Cohen has been one of the most gracious, open minded, and influential people I’ve known. Late last year, I went on tour with Spike to document the campaign and his ability to lovingly succinctly explain his positions with zero condescension, unknowingly reshaped my own positions on several issues.
So, when I saw Spike Cohen posting that “justice was served” in the Chauvin trial, while my mind was not quite made up on the matter, naturally I invited Spike back on the show to share his reasoning and try to get to the bottom of this case. I have a whole lot of concern about the slippery slope of fear-based mob justice and no matter how uncomfortable the truth is, that’s all I’m ever looking for.

The time has come, weirdos. We got BANNED from the all mighty Facebook... but it's OH SO much more than that... The line in the sand has been drawn and apparently, asking questions and being open minded places me squarely on "the wrong side of history".
The whole point of this show is and has always been simply... to ask questions and try to understand different points of view, in a DANGEROUS attempt to unite humans. That's it... Every person is comprised of a million variables, born into different variables, raised in different variables, witnessing different variables, and creating different variables, so it make perfect sense to me why we disagree on many things.
However... when THAT message is deemed inappropriate, one must ask themselves "why?". I believe, now more than ever, that there is a concerted effort to divide us. DO NOT LET THEM WIN. #YouArethePower and you HAVE the power to end this sh*t. Stop putting up with this Orwellian takeover of thoughts. Don't show respect to a platform that has ZERO respect for you.
