Jörmungandr, evil Serpent or Protector?
Much has been written about the world serpent, the serpent that wraps itself around the world and bites its own tail. What kind of mythical creature is this? This creature is known in many mythologies, including North West European mythology.

The Scandinavians in particular have left stories and images behind. We discuss another angle on the meaning of this pagan or heathen portrait of this serpent.

This time a podcast.
The White Women, or the Witte Wieven are elve like creatures that appear in sagas and myths. They have a great resemblance to the elves, but what are they really and are they as devilish as we heard in the stories? People used to be scared of these creatures that floated over swamps and on burial mounds. Maybe they are our demonized Knowing Women from the past. Could they be our ancient priestesses and prophetesses?

If you are pagan or witch it is nice to have an altar. You can make a formal altar or an altar that you custom made for yourself. There are no rules as far as I am concerned, that's because I think freedom is very important.

In the Edda you can speak of great giants that have had to do with the creation of the cosmos. They represent gigantic chaos forces and are gods and goddesses at the same time. Are the giants still among us?
