Probably the most compelling reason which people embrace in support of an atheistic point of view, and quite understandably so, revolves around the glaring realization that in fact, innocent people, even infants and children, endure immeasurable pain and suffering on a daily basis all around the globe and have done so from the beginning of time - and with no end in sight. Nothing flies in the face of a Loving Creator quite like his apparent hands-off tolerance of the presence of evil. Come with me now as we delve deeply into the origin of evil, its purpose, and ultimately.... its total redemption.

Whatever you care to believe regarding the eternal destiny of mankind, there may be found within the pages of the Bible plenty of verses to support that belief. In this video we will explore three categories of verses relating to the subject of salvation, specifically focusing on those that declare the number of people destined to find it. Will there be just a few, will there be many, or could it actually be imagined to include all of us? With such a wide range of conflicting scenarios being described therein, how are we to know which is true? It is only when they are viewed through the lens of the Gospel of God's unconditional love for us that a single message shines through... that of His unequivocal promise that nothing can ever separate us from that love. When at long last that really sinks in, you will find yourself effortlessly releasing that same love to flow towards yourself, to your neighbor and to your enemy... whether or not they "deserve" it.

The four important topics remaining in the series will be covered in this video, followed by a final Scriptural reference video. Topic 1: Life on Earth... test vs process -- it makes a world of difference how you view life's primary purpose, Topic 2: The Chosen... who & why -- an almost universally misunderstood doctrine, the "elect" or "chosen" is not an elite group of the "successful" but rather are recipients of an extra measure of His grace, meant to act as servants intent on spreading God's blessing to the entire world of the "un-chosen", Topic 3: Unity of Sin... white collar vs blue collar -- we're all in this together and we'll all get through this together, and all the sooner as we quit focusing on our brother's sins, and 4: Body of Christ... work it out now, or later – reconciliation is not just an individual phenomena, the culmination of all creation being the revealing of Christ's body with every part of it (all of mankind) restored to perfection and living in harmonious cooperation... let's get started building it now.

The parable of the Good Samaritan has been used for centuries to teach a noble object lesson, that of helping those in need, even those outside of our comfort zone. An honorable teaching to be sure, but apparently not the primary one the Master intended to convey. When we take a closer look at who the "neighbor" is that we are to love, it turns out that it is we who are to be seen as the one in the ditch, who have suddenly found ourselves in the regrettable circumstance of actually requiring life support from someone whom we deeply despise... and moreover, it is learning to love THAT despicable "neighbor" that is the primary message being given to the lawyer who posed the question in the first place, speaking as "one seeking to justify himself". When interpreted in this light, the simple parable delivers a groundbreaking message that will serve to shatter all of our self-imposed, self-righteous barriers which heretofore have impeded the coming of the community of all mankind.

On his triumphant march into Jerusalem, Jesus responded to the Pharisees' protest, stating that if the praise from the people were silenced, the very rocks themselves would cry out. And so it is that the awareness of the Gospel is woven into the very fabric of the universe, even within the inanimate. Thus it may come as no surprise to find it embedded in a whimsical children's musical as well. Come join me for a lighthearted expose of the Gospel as we take another look into the Gene Wilder version of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory... and be prepared as well for a subtle, or not so subtle, twist regarding the possible fate and function of the Evil One.

Traditional teaching often attributes all glory to God for anything that goes right in our lives and yet all responsibility is ours alone when things "go south". The Gospel message promotes a more sensible distribution of both the load and the acclamation. God naturally assumes ultimate overall responsibility for his creative act and rightly receives our praise for it's "glorious" consummation. But each of us also has an essential role to play far beyond that of a passive lump of clay, as illustrated here in a retelling of the Parable of Talents, taking full artistic license to drive the point home.

The Incarnation of God in Christ is the most significant event in the history of the world. Why did Jesus come? To die for our sins? What does that mean? Did he have to do so to satisfy justice as though justice itself were the sovereign over creation? Here we will uncover a much more expansive view of Christ's visit to earth, an "unveiling" as it were, of the true nature of God, the impact of which is certain to reconcile the entire fallen creation back to the Father.

It's easy for us to see why Jesus damned the Pharisees of his day for their hypocrisy in pretending to keep the law, all the while requiring their people to actually do so. He accused them of holding the keys to God's kingdom while neither using them to enter themselves nor allowing those who would to do so. What the modern church does not perceive is how they have seamlessly carried on these traditions, blocking the door to a simple trust in the Father's unconditional love, thus denying Christ's heartfelt appeal to "...come unto me and I will give you rest".

Refusing to temporarily limit a three-year old child's freedom when crossing a busy intersection by clutching their hand tightly would be unthinkable to anyone with even a hint of natural parental instincts. Why then do we accept so easily that our Father in heaven would grant us total autonomy right out of the chute allowing for our fall into utter destruction not only of our bodies but our eternal souls as well? Why would we even imagine, let alone embrace, such a reckless notion that when our will butts up against his, it is our will that wins (and we... and he, lose)?

Jesus' claim of being the only way to the Father stands in sharp contrast to the politically-correct assumptions of our day where all paths are deemed to be equally valid and of equal worth. Many are needlessly put off by such a claim because they are not shown his counter claim in this regard, namely that everyone will come through him... everyone! And being the incarnation of perfect love is what makes it so.

One of the most damaging human inclinations is our propensity for idol worship, that is, the attachment to anything that stands in the place where only God himself must reside. In that regard we long for, and even insist on having, a tangible guide by which to navigate life's uncertainties. By raising the Bible to the position of absolute perfection is to do great damage to its unique God-inspired message and has led to the widely held practice of Bibliolatry. Here the viewer is implored to ponder what havoc a belief in such a perfect book may raise when applied to an imaginary isolated tribe on a remote island where just such unquestioning reverence is offered towards the "Book of the Volcano God".

Just because our Father will not leave any of his children in an endless state of worthless torment does not mean he will withhold any discipline necessary to ensure the development of the soul to its full potential. As you sow, so shall you reap. God will not be mocked. His boundless love, both tough and nurturing, always works to grace-fully arouse our inner beauty and will not be ab-used as a cover for chaotic destructive behavior.

An overview of the topic as seen loosely through the eyes of Job as he broke through his intense suffering to no doubt witness the true nature of God as being not that of a reckless potter with no accountability to his clay, but rather that of a loving father which suffers at his side until all be fully restored... at which time Job was inspired to cry out "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him!"

Come explore with me the nature of true love and how a proper understanding of the Scriptures reveals the heavenly Source of the most sublime form of it in the universe, that which is truly offered without condition... and regrettably how the wide spread understanding of those same Scriptures has delivered to the masses that which may barely be recognizable as love at all, tied as it is to a most "devilish" ultimatum.

A brief introduction to the 15 videos in the series, each of which will explore one essential aspect of God's unconditional love for the human race.

Everyone's got a story to tell, and this is mine. Here you will find the background that led to my passionate desire to tell the world of a God truly worthy of our worship, culminating in the creation of the video series "Universal Reconciliation in Christ".
