Quran 3:103 And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.

Warning against oppression, the supplication of the oppressed, and forsaking them, and encouragement to support them.

(57:16) Is the time not come that the hearts of the believers should be humbled to Allah’s remembrance and to the Truth that He has revealed,28 and that they should not be like those who were vouchsafed the Book and then a long time elapsed so that their hearts were hardened? A great many of them are now evil-doers.

“O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya (friends, protectors, helpers, etc.), they are but Auliya to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as Auliya, then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers and unjust)”

In the Battle of Uhud seventy Muslims were martyred. In the Battle of Badr. seventy unbelievers were killed and seventy taken as captives. The calamity that had befallen them was the outcome of their own weaknesses and mistakes. They had not remained sufficiently patient, they had acted, in certain respects, in a manner inconsistent with the dictates of piety, they had disobeyed the command that had been given them, they were lured by material wealth and they disputed and quarrelled among them-selves. After all this, was it still necessary to ask what caused the debacle?
If God has the power to make them victorious He also has the power to bring about their defeat.

It is a so horrible day which we are unaware of, which the Quran talked about, it is the judgment day. It is the most important day in every human’s life, the day where he/she will see many horrible and pressures, no mountain could bear them, for it is a great day when Almighty Allah becomes angry and He will punish all guilty and arrogant.

The Quran describes the fall of several nations. These accounts provide powerful reminders and lessons about how nations can reach unprecedented heights but then fall into the abyss of nothingness due to their immoral ways and disobedience of Allah Almighty. One such account describes a nation that resided in the Valley of Ahqaaf. Named ʿĀd after their eponymous forefather, Allah Almighty sent the prophet Sayyiduna Ḥūd عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام to them when they had succumbed to their sinful ways. When they failed to take heed and reform their behaviour, Allah Almighty sent a violent storm to punish them

Allah alone is the Creator of this world and He is The Most Merciful for all His mankind, it is repeatedly mentioned in Quran. The obeying of the great Lord is not confined to only fulfilling religious actions, but being moral in every aspect of life, as observed in the following verse of the Holy Quran: “O, you who believe! When you hold secret counsel, do it not for sin and wrong-doing, and disobedience towards the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) but do it for Al-Birr (righteousness) and Taqwa (virtues and piety), and fear Allah unto Whom you shall be gathered.” (Quran, 58:9)

A Touching Story of Umar Ibn Al-Khattab [RA] and the Poor Woman. It was the year of the famine. Umar took pains to ensure that adequate relief reached all people, and that there were no persons in the city who went to sleep hungry.

The saying referred to is the words of ‘Abdullah ibn Mas‘ood (may Allah be pleased with him): “Whoever wants to follow a path, let him follow the path of one who has died, for the living are not safe from fitnah. I mean the Companions of Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). They were the best of this ummah: the purest in heart, the deepest in knowledge and the most straightforward. Allah chose them to accompany His Prophet and establish His religion, so recognise their status and follow in their footsteps and adhere as much as you can to their example of conduct and attitude, for they followed true guidance.”

Quran (14:21) They will all appear before Allah, and the lowly ˹followers˺ will appeal to the arrogant ˹leaders˺, “We were your ˹dedicated˺ followers, so will you ˹then˺ protect us from Allah’s torment in any way?” They will reply, “Had Allah guided us, we would have guided you. ˹Now˺ it is all the same for us whether we suffer patiently or impatiently, there is no escape for us.”

The Prophet (SAWS) said: “Anyone has an atom’s weight of arrogance in his heart will not enter Paradise.” A man said:” What if one likes his clothes and shoes to look good?” He said: “Verily, Allah is beautiful and He loves beauty. Arrogance is to reject the truth and look down on people.”

The Fragrance of Purity - Story of Sheikh Misk

Muslims will endure many trials throughout their lives. Allah tests us with hardship and also prosperity in order to validate the sincerity of our faith.

As time passed, the light of Islam reached more people and the number of those who accepted Islam increased day by day. The Muslims won the Battle of Khandaq and conquered Khaybar; the Treaty of Hudaybiyya turned out to be beneficial for the Muslims.

the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Every intoxicant is khamr, and every intoxicant is haraam. Whoever drinks khamr in this world and dies persisting in that and without having repented, will not drink it in the Hereafter.”

Everything, when lost, can be regained, except time. If it is lost, there is no hope to regain it. That is why time is the most precious thing that can ever be possessed in this life.

Everything in our lives that the Almighty decides for us is perfect and balanced. The wisdom behind why we are tested with hardship is known by Allah SWT and sometimes it’s disclosed to us if we have the knowledge.

Allah (AWJ) says: 'Muhammad is no more than a Messenger, and indeed (many) Messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you then turn back on your heels (as disbelievers)? And he who turns back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah, and Allah will give reward to those who are grateful.' [Al-Qur'an 3:144]"

Everyone has to die one day. Allah says in the Quran: “Everyone is going to taste death, and We shall make a trial of you with evil and with good, and to Us you will be returned.” Quran (Surah Al-Anbiya:21)
However, the return of every soul to the afterlife shall depend on its state of righteousness in this world. To the pious believers, it will be said (as stated in the Quran): 27. (It will be said to the pious): “O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction!.
28. “Come back to your Lord well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing (unto Him)!.
29. “Enter you then among My (honored) slaves,.
30. “And enter you My Paradise!”

Ibn al-Qayyim reported: Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, said to me, “What can my enemies do to me? My paradise and my garden are in my heart wherever I go and they are never separated from me. If I am imprisoned, then it is seclusion for worship. If I am killed, then it is martyrdom. If they expel me from my land, then it is tourism.”

Bilal Ibn Rabah [RA] was the first announcer of the time of Muslim prayer and the troublemaker to the idols. He was one of the miracles of faith and truthfulness.

Scholars say that we abandon the Quran when we cease to: 1. Believe in it, 2. Read it, 3. Understand it, 4. Ponder its verses,
5. Act upon it, or 6. Share it with others.
