This is a small bit of my testimony. This time covers before I decided to quit my job and go to preach the gospel full-time.
During this time God showed me a powerful lesson on why we shouldn't procrastinate.
When God says go, don't look back.

Videos are popping up all over YouTube, talking about COVID19 and the end of the world. Certainly there is a connection between the novel coronavirus and the last days, which we can learn by studying Bible prophecy. But it's not as obvious as most people assume. We know Jesus listed diseases as one of many "signs of the times", but YouTube prophets have taken that fact and falsely stated that the link between the coronavirus and the end times has to do with the rapture coming soon, or the destruction of all life on Earth as a result of the virus. This video exposes other false prophecies, and later explains what you REALLY need to know about the relationship between COVID19 and the end times.

This is an urgent update on the COVID19 (novel coronavirus) pandemic that is threatening the whole world, and how it relates to Bible prophecy. Jesus listed pestilences as one of the signs of the times, or, more precisely, the "beginning of sorrows". He specifically said that these beginning of sorrow (including epidemics and wars and rumors of wars) are actually a sign that the end is NOT quite yet. Something worse will come AFTER them. The COVID pandemic could and likely will be solved, bringing peace back to the world. But this is not necessarily good news... because something far more sinister than the coronavirus is looming on the horizon.

This video starts with some things that we announced as early as October of 2019, and includes excerpts from several other videos that we released in November, December, and January. Rather than being out of date, what we said in them is becoming more true with each day that passes.

A Voice in the Desert consistently teaches that we can only find ultimate truth through Jesus and through Jesus' teachings. However, many topics covered on this channel are not necessarily directly based on the teachings of Jesus. If any topics are keeping you from following Jesus, the Cornerstone, then consider them distractions! Curse them, if necessary, to get back to the words of Jesus.

Beliefs which cannot be supported by evidence are called dogmas, but Protestants, in particular, often overlook how much dogma there is in Protestant church tradition. In this video, Voice tries to set a good example, by urging people to ignore some of what he has said, if it can help them to get past their dogmas (and maybe some of his) to overcome differences in beliefs. Let’s concentrate on Jesus' message, especially what he said in the Sermon on the Mount. Do you hunger and thirst after righteousness? Are you willing to let go of whatever dogma may be holding you back? Let's be like new wineskins, and listen to what Jesus taught with open minds.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates recently responded to a question on Reddit about the coronavirus (COVID19) pandemic, and how businesses are going to function while continuing to practice social distancing. Bill's response sparked discussion amongst anti-vaccine proponents, as well as those of us who are keenly watching world developments in relation to Bible prophecy and the end times, specifically with regard to the Mark of the Beast. What is "A Voice in the Desert"?

A Voice in the Desert is anonymous. Its purpose is to point people to the message, rather than the messenger. Most modern day prophets promote themselves more than the teachings of Jesus and the true message of Revelation. A Voice in the Desert challenges that error and more. Some of the things you hear on this channel may be difficult to understand, and may offend you. The goal, however, is to sweep away dogmas and traditions to reveal what Jesus actually taught.

It is vitally important to be getting it right with God before Jesus Christ returns. People of understanding have been predicted to fall. Do you have understanding? If so, have you asked yourself "Am I sincere?" lately? This is essential viewing for those who are determined to keep themselves from falling away in the last days.

The Book of Daniel and the Revelation of Jesus Christ are not easy books to understand, and this prophecy study isn't going to offer you any air-tight interpretations. It will, however, paint an overall picture of how the animals in Bible prophecy (including the beast in Revelation 13) could fit in with where the world is heading, particularly as they relate to the United Nations Security Council. After you have seen the information presented here, you may be able to better form your own ideas about just how relevant these prophecies are at this point in history.

What would Jesus do? That's a common question, but to find the answer, we really need to ask "what did Jesus say?". You may be surprised to learn just how different the teachings of Jesus are, compared to the teachings of the average church. The apostasy in the churches today is not being caused by people drinking and smoking; it's being caused by the rejection of the Cornerstone (i.e. Christ's teachings). As you watch this video, look up the Bible references given with the words of Jesus, and ask yourself if there is anything stopping you from practicing these teachings yourself.

Was Mary a Disciple of Jesus? Wait... which Mary? Mary Magdallene? The similar and repeated use of names in the Bible has caused a lot of confusion as to who is who. This video takes a closer look at the disciples of Jesus and answers some questions about possible exceptions. It not only asks if Mary Magdaline was a disciple, but Was Lazarus a disciple, and Was Martha a disciple? Many ask, “Do I have to obey Jesus?" and then they go looking for examples of people who seemed to get away with not obeying him. Lazarus and Mary and Martha seemed to have a unique relationship with Jesus. Some have used them as examples of people who did not need to obey all that Jesus taught. Is it possible that we could just be friends of Jesus without needing to obey him? Watch this video for some surprising revelations.

Jesus' teachings are so unique and so challenging, that even the other Bible authors (like Paul and Peter) have neglected to reiterate them clearly...with one exception: James, the brother of Jesus. The sinner's prayer has been used to replace real repentance. Getting saved is a lifelong process, not the "once saved always saved" (OSAS) teaching that is so popular these days. These 8 year-olds may have a better understanding of what going to heaven means, than do many theologians.

A Voice in the Desert recognizes that Jesus was known for associating with outcasts, publicans and sinners. Could it be that what brought about such strong persecution to Christ's ministry was this willingness to associate with those rejected by the world? Modern persecution of Christians in the West is quite rare nowadays, probably because there are so few who dare to be different from the rest of society. A Voice in the Desert examines how man made traditions in the church have made the Word of God of no effect. They have many names: alter call, sacraments, rituals, sinner's prayer, emotional experiences, life changing experiences etc. What they all have in common is that they are religious traditions which are not directly based on anything Jesus taught. If we put our faith more in these experiences than in Jesus' message, then we will be misguided. There are many legalistic Christians today. These are modern Pharisees, who strain at gnats and swallow camels. In order not to be one of these, we must start obeying the teachings of Jesus today!

A Voice in the Desert asks: what is the purpose of a miracle? Does telling others about a miraculous experience in our lives, or does just experiencing miracles prove God's favor in our lives? This video explores the true purpose of a miracle and suggests that a genuine miracle is an intimate part of our relationship with God, not to be bragged about. There's a reason that Jesus often told the people he healed to keep it secret. Jesus was surprisingly quiet about his own super powers, and even his own supernatural nature, something we could all learn from.

The sinner's prayer was made popular by evangelist Billy Graham. Despite the good intention behind this prayer and the push for Christians to be "born again", this lukewarm tactic has resulted in more religious hypocrisy and lukewarm Chrisitanity than genuine faith in the Jesus of the Bible. Resist the Devil and he will flee (James 4:7). In Luke 4 we read about three temptations of Jesus. From this story, we learn important lessons on how to deal with temptation as Jesus did. The kind of spiritual warfare that Jesus had with the devil teaches us how to deal with sin in our own lives; in particular greed, pride, and the lust for power and popularity. It's amazing how the devil's tricks have not changed much over the centuries.
