We discuss the HB 1076 which Kristi Noem, the Republican governor of South Dakota, signed into law. It has the legal framework to ban bible verses. It uses the definition of antisemitism from the Holocaust Remembrance Alliance. An example of antisemitism on their website includes: “Jews killed Jesus”. This would effectively ban certain bible verses.
