This is my long awaited video in the "Wizard Talk" series and I must strongly emphasize, that this is perhaps one of my most important and hard (but a joy) to make video in recent years that I created. I feel very drained by the experience, but nevertheless I am very, very proud of the result and the message that I wanted to convey across a wider audience. It took me two days to film, to assemble together and to edit to the point where I felt that it is ready and looked finished so that I can present it to everyone. Hearthstone Epic Adventure Part I: In The Name of Azeroth!

PULL UP A CHAIR BY THE HEARTH!
I've been playing and recording some of my Hearthstone games during September and early October of this year. Never done this before and most of the matches are my misserable failings, but I have recorded them nevertheless and wanted to share them with all of you. The only victory is the very last match which was pretty close shave and packed with wild RNG to begin with. So, please excuse my sloppy skills (and outdated decks) but I am not a professional Hearthstone player by any means. I just log in from time to time to have a blast when I have some free time. I absolutely love this game since the very first time I saw it (I have even played during early beta back in 2013 or 2014) and as a fan of World of Warcraft I enjoy playing against other people and just the general vibe of it. The solo adventures are very well done as well, so it's not only a ladder-based game. The soundtrack is also one of the most beautfiul pieces of music ever created in my humble opinion. The editing and the effects in this adventure are the my kind of sorcery! Cheers and enjoy folks!

Wizard Talk: Part 1 | Preserving Yggdrasill - On Cars, Tolkien and Ecological Musings

Hello there good people of Middle-earth! Here I recorded today on (30.08.2022) a kind of a channel update and I share some deep philosophical ponderings and frustrations that I had for quite a while now about modern vehicles seen as a real fetish and the extension of people's egos in the 21st century,. I also talked about professor Dr. Patrick Curry, ecological books and Tolkien's views on cars, industrial "progress" and how he foresaw all of this and wrote about it in "The Lord of The Rings", and I also touch slightly on ecology and things of that nature. All are welcomed to share their thoughts in the comment section below for open and matured discussions on the topics I discussed in this video. I hope I made my points clear enough for everyone to grasp and concentrate on. Some food for thought and refreshing scenery of the local woods in my hometown.

Wardruna - Helvegen (partial song) (Live in Plovdiv, 09.07.2022) Nordic Night Open Air Tour

The experience was simply otherworldly, memorable and musically and visually awe-inspiring. I went to see Wardruna live for the second time (first time they played here was in 2016 in Sofia), but this concert was nothing I've ever experienced in my entire life. I've been to quite a few concerts, but no band or musician can be compared to the type of live ritual Einar and his fellow musicians performed there (and perhaps comparisons are not needed here). Everyone who was present at the Ancient Theater (Philippopolis) in Plovdiv felt it and it was more akin to a Heathen ritual of olden days than just simply a live show performed by a folk band from Norway. Wardruna are obviously more than just a folk band from Norway, and what I truly, truly realized while being there surrounded by hundreds of people, was that their main reason and purpose in this existence to play live and perhaps to create music as well is to actually HEAL the damaged soul of humanity and to feed it and charge it with magic, meaning, wellness, purpose and respect for the old ways, but not trying to copy the past (like Einar often says) and roleplay our lives so very fucking hard to be Vikings, warriors or LARPERS and what not. It's not about dressing up and showing off your ego. Historical reenactment is fine and cool, but in it's core it's all about remembering and giving the needed respect to nature, to the gods and goddesses and to the spirits and the ancestors. That is why we need to implement sooooo very bad the Animistic way of thinking and to act upon it., not just speak and write about it. Wardruna's artistic philosophy and music is obviously a very welcomed medicine, very important and profoundly honest and authentic. It's the type of pill we need for these troubling times and not some bullshit conspiratorial hipster wokeness. Yes Ragnarök is upon us, but it's not the end of life or the world. This is a very commnon misconception seen through the (mostly) Christian point of view about life and death. It's the end of a cycle so that a new can begin and continue. So, not much else to say here folks, but I truly speak in the most honest and heartfelt way I can. I recorded these videos to remember what I have experienced and to also remember that these themes are universal and they speak to us through the music of Wardruna and they will continue to speak to generations to come as long as the traditions, the old ways and beliefs and the authenticity are kept alive.
I enjoyed the concert so very much and I will remember it for the rest of my life, and so you may enjoy these songs as well. These are spells given to us to heal the land and our spirits. They are gifts most precious.

Under the Floorboards

It was a pretty good story. Don't you think? It made me laugh to beat the band. Parts, anyway. I didn't like seein' you go. But, then I happen to know that there's a little comfort on the way. I guess that's the way the whole durned human comedy keeps perpetuatin' itself down through the generations. Westward the wagons, across the sands of time until we - ah, look at me. I'm ramblin' again.
Darkness warshed over the Dude - darker'n a black steer's tookus on a moonless prairie night. There was no bottom....

THE ART OF THE LAST OF US by Naughty Dog and Dark Horse (Book Flip Through by Borislav Vakinov)

Last year (in June) I bought the art book for the first THE LAST OF US game and I wanted to make a nicely filmed and edited flip through with the soundtrack of the game since then. I think this has to be simply the BEST art book ever released by Dark Horse and it's definitely a purchase that I am most happy about. What more is there to say? ...well apart from the quite obvious fact that THE LAST OF US is an example of an immersive and emotional video game experience done the proper way in every possible respect, and that it has a very, very, very special place in my heart.
For goodness' sake, I even bought a used PlayStation 3 last year just to be able to play this great game!!
I hope you'll enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed glancing and reading through the pages of this masterpiece of an art book for hours and hours on end. I absolutely love and held in a very high place THE LAST OF US and everything is has to offer me as a gamer and as someone who appeciates quality art, video games and experiences. It's certainly one of my favorite video games of all times and I say this in all seriousness.

A (K)night to Remember!

You realize that all your life you have been coasting along as if you were in a dream. Suddenly, facing the trials of the last few days, you have come alive. Everything you do is just a bit easier, more instinctive, more satisfying. It is as though you had suddenly developed keen senses and instincts. You sense yourself more aware, more open to new ideas. You've learned a lot about Morrowind. It's hard to believe how ignorant you were -- but now you have so much more to learn. You resolve to continue pushing yourself. Perhaps there's more to you than you thought. The secret does seem to be hard work, yes, but it's also a kind of blind passion, an inspiration. Enclave (2003) - Intro, Iellon Dungeon & Outpost (PC Gameplay, October, 2021)

WELCOME TO CELENHEIM!

This is a recent playthrough of one of my favorite games of all time! It's just the opening two missions just to showcase what the game is all about. Enclave is a super challenging, atmospheric video game, with original story, enjoyable gameplay mechanics, lost of tongue in cheek type of homour and super, super fun if you are into dark medieval fantasy settings infested with orcs, goblins, wizards, magic, knights, hunters, sorceresses, dungeons and lots and lots of great weapons to choose from. Although Enclace is not a full-blown RPG, it has a lot of RPG elements incorporated in it. It is a top notch experince for the any fantasy RPG nerd out there. Don't hesitate, just get it and start playing!

The Enclave soudtrack is absolutely EPIC in all possible ways. I've played the game more than 15 years ago (around 2004) when It came out and immediately fell in love with it. This was a time when PC gaming was in its prime and when kids on my age were rushing to the local internet clubs to quench their thirst for gaming and also to escape their mundane school realities. There is no other game like Enclave! It's hard, challenging, atmospheric, dark and gloomy (depends on which side your're playing) and most importantly, very engaging and original. The story and the whole lore in my honest opinion is very Tolkienesque inspired, but the devs from Starbreeze were perhaps taking inspiration from Norse Mythology and other fantasy genres and stories in order to achieve the look and the feel of their game. I can even say, that the later video games like Demon/Dark Souls were very much influenced by Enclave. Consider this game a Souls-like prototype. Gustaf Grefberg is a grand wizard!

ABOUT THE GAME

Enclave is a third-person action hack'n'slash role-playing game by Starbreeze Studios, released for the Xbox on July 2002. The game mixes puzzles, shooting, sword fights and more in a level-based structure. The player uses medieval and magical weapons to fight enemies. It also includes an optional first-person mode if the player chooses. At the beginning of each mission, the player chooses a character to control. With the character selected, the player selects weapons and gear to equip for the mission. Gold is required to equip all gear. During each mission, the player collects gold and gems to increase the starting gold available at the start of each mission. In this game, set in a medieval fantasy realm, players can choose to take on the role of either a "Warrior of Light" or a "Minion of Darkness", complete with separate and unique missions reflecting the nature of that decision. Released for the Xbox on July 2002. A Microsoft Windows port was released in March 2003. A GameCube version was also in development but was eventually cancelled in early 2003. A Wii port, titled Enclave: Shadows of Twilight, was originally slated for the middle of June 2010, and was released in Europe on May 22, 2012. On 4 October 2013, the game was re-released on Steam and GOG.com and made available on Mac and Linux platforms.

PLOT

One thousand years ago, the Dreg'Atar armies of the demon lord known as Vatar had all but destroyed the people of Celenheim. In an act of desperation, the high wizard Zale sundered the land and created a rift around Celenheim, keeping the armies of Vatar at bay. In time, Celenheim forgot the war and forgot Vatar as they went about their daily affairs. Now, the rift is closing, and evil threatens the land once again. An unlikely hero, freed from prison by happenstance, must rise and fight for Light or Darkness, to either destroy the demon king Vatar or kill the queen of Celenheim.
During a great war, the land of Celenheim was separated into two sides; the light side and the dark side. On the side of the Light, the Enclave was protected from all sides by a wide rift, a bottomless abyss. On the Dark side, twisted forms struggled for survival, while slowly growing more powerful, preparing to invade the Light side once again.

So "Heresy & Metaphysics" is pretty much a homage to "outsider" topics and things that don't fit into today's mainstream view of the world. I also dedicated it to the wider and more "weirder" side of my life, to the unseen, to various occult topics, some ponderings about Magick and practical things, and of course to vintage and old-timey TV programs like The Twilight Zone (I also like the original "The Outer Limits"). I even have a section in one of the chapters where I wrote about Film Noir and Crime drama movies of the early 40s and late 50s and directors of that period in great extent, but also about Jazz, Blues and Country music (because I love listening to these genres), about Art Deco architecture and art style, about objectivism, BioShock, Ayn Rand and Rod Serling and about the Beat Generation, you name it. I like to explore a variety of topics A LOT and I am good at what I do. And so, I go forward with the hopes, that I did my best to deliver a book of the highest possible quality for readers, nerds and honest souls all over the world, and I hope to hear your feedback after you read it.
