A fascinating interview with Dr Paola Amaldi, a senior lecturer in industrial psychology in a university in the south east of England. Her areas of speciality are psychology & automation. We spoke for two hours about the impact of automation in the western world & how it has affected people's behaviour. We highlighted the contrast between its increasingly negative impact versus its originally intended use: another tragic example of the road to Hell being paved with good intentions.
