On 14 June 2013, Naughty Dog's epic story of a man escorting a teenage girl in a post-apocalyptic United States of America was published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game received extremely high praise from critics and gamers alike, winning over 240 "Game of the Year" awards.

The game is played exclusively on the Playstation, originally the PS3 and later (as for this playthrough) as a remastered version for the PS4. Controls are: ◯ to crouch; ✕ to climb; △ to interact / search; ⬜ melee, also as a QTE response (such as break loose when grabbed); L1 to aim; R1 to shoot / throw (or to reload when not aiming); L2 to sprint; R2 to listen; DPad left/right to select weapon; DPad up/down to select consumable; and R3 (press down on the right stick) to use the flashlight.

After a parasitic virus devastates the United States, things fall into disarray. Communities similar to towns are established, with military-style guards, while some revolutionary groups harass the settlements. Joel, his brother Tommy, and his daughter Sarah all attempt to flee Austin, Texas, to safety. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned. 20 years later, Joel is worn out, just going through the motions, when he receives a new lease on life. Let's play The Last of Us and join the characters on their dramatic journey.

While seeking a way out of the facility, Hadley finds an ominous note in code.

The story is set in the same dystopian universe of STASIS, where a young woman named Hadley sees a doctor to deliver her baby. She wakes up, however, in a facility she doesn't recognize. Where is she, why is she there, and what does the sinister CAYNE Corporation want with her baby? Hadley will need all of her will and stamina to overcome her situation.

As a P&C and prequel to STASIS, controls are the same, exclusively mouse-oriented. Hovering over an item or area often provides descriptive text, clicking on something will cause Hadley (your character) to interact with it if possible. Double-clicking on the floor will cause Hadley to run to that location.

Will we be able to solve the puzzles that can lead to Hadley's freedom and her baby's survival? Let's play CAYNE, where each step will uncover details about Hadley's circumstance and what the future may hold.

Having defeated the Queen of Spades, Sasha Anders keeps looking for her family.

This series contains a standard playthrough; I already played a fair amount of this in a pre-release demo. This includes the entire Epilogue of the game.

On August 31, 2017, developer Primary Games released Never Again in early access mode. Its full release happened on May 9, 2019. The game has met with a very positive reception by players and offers a few unique mechanics. Among these, the character you play has asthma. Too much stress will trigger an attack, but sometimes you will create stress anyway.

Standard W, A, S, and D are for movement, and Shift makes Sasha run. When standing still E will show otherwise "hidden" objects. Hovering over items, a mouse cursor might change. An eyeball means you can analyze something more closely; a keyhole icon indicates you can look through a hole; and so forth. Finally, you have a journey (Tab opens this), in which are certain pictures. Clicking on a picture once gives details on it, and clicking the larger picture on the details page will bring it out of the book and let you use it as a "real-life" object for Sasha.

Sasha Anders, a thirteen year old girl with asthma, wakes from a nightmare. The world seems to be upside down: everything has become strange. Over her house hangs a sense of loneliness and longing, in stark contrast to what once was always a place of love and harmony. Outside of her room, everywhere darkens and grows deathly quiet. And now, she can't find her parents or younger brother. Though a clever child, Sasha's fears threaten to overwhelm her sensibility. Will she cope with the fear of the unknown? When struggling for breath, will she continue pushing on? Let's play Never Again to see. #NeverAgain #gameplay #blind #PrimaryGames

Hadley continues searching for a way out of the facility, no matter who — or what — stands in her way.

Wither Studios completed their game, IMMURE: Inescapable Horror, a 2.5D psychological horror game. The heavily story-driven game released its first chapter on May 8, 2019. The development team released a demo in the summer of 2018 and ran a Kickstarter campaign in October 2018 to allow full-time development. Unfortunately, they did not reach their goal; they have, however, continued to develop the game in their spare time. This demo of the game was played during my 2018 Hallo-stream event.

Some of the controls are a bit unusual. The basic controls for sidescrollers (A and D for left and right) are standard. Additionally, Tab accesses your inventory, Space is used to interact, E will examine something, and LMB uses an item (F is for Quick Use). RMB is for aiming, V toggles what is equipped, and T is for using a trapezohedron.

The Lovecraft-inspired revolves around a man named Will who has awoken to find himself in a strange mansion with no obvious way to exit. During his efforts to find a way out, he is forced to travel to strange rooms and eerie dimensions, where he encounters various tormented souls. He may choose to save them, or he may decide to destroy them. Whatever he chooses will affect what he may — or may not — learn about where he is and why he is there. #immure #gameplay #blind

After cleaning her room, Sasha Anders follows a door in her closet to another dimension.

To reach the old station, Arthur goes underground . . . the hard way.

Released on August 10, 2018 — nearly 5 years after their premier title, Contrast — Compulsion Games released We Happy Few, a game of paranoia and survival, in a drugged-out, dystopian English city in 1964. Unlike the older child of their earlier teen-level game, We Happy Few presents players in the role of three different characters (one per Act in the game) trying to escape the dystopian town of Wellington Wales.

Standard W, A, S, and D controls are used, with Ctrl being a held crouch and C toggling between crouching and standing. Typically, E and V present the player with two different options in various situations.

Within an alternative timeline of history, the United States never came to the aid of the Allies in World War II, leaving the United Kingdom to fend off Germany alone. The Battle of Britain was lost to Germany, which subsequently continued bombardment for a time and eventually occupied it.

Some time during the occupation, the population of Wellington Wells did what they considered to be a "Very Bad Thing". While it forced the German occupiers to completely leave their island, the guilt over their actions left the citizens guilt-ridden. The "solution" came in the form of a new hallucinogenic drug called: "Joy". Benefits include the suppression of all unhappy memories, leading users to experience incredible joy and happiness. However, the drug also decreased users' recognition of moral and long-term consequences. What's worse, it leaves users easily manipulable.

Can we help the three characters all escape from the island to a new life, or will the characters remain forever in their drug-addled society? Let's play We Happy Few and find out.

When Will wakes up in a strange mansion, he soon learns there is no easy way back out again.

As Arthur approaches the train station, he finds it fortified . . . and guarded by Bad Boys.

In 2015, InvisiblePanda released its first-person horror title about a lone youth with dreams of wandering through a forest, trying to avoid dangers that lurk in the shadows. The game is found on Game Jolt and IndieDB and demonstrates how little it truly takes to provide a creepy atmosphere.

Movement is standard W, A, S, and D, but these are the only controls. There is no jump, climb, or interact available. Your mission is to avoid danger and survive through the end.

A youth has been plagued by repeating dreams that may or may not have been a real experience from their childhood. Innocence is lost when evil itself stalks you. Will the protagonist escape? Let's play I Remember This Dream and find out.

Some time has passed since the brothers' deaths, and Joel and Ellie have traveled far.

On 31 August 2015, the Brotherhood released its new point-and-click horror-adventure game, STASIS, the story of a man alone on an abandoned space ship, with no idea how he got there, where anyone is, or what he should do.

Being a P&C, controls are exclusively mouse-oriented. Hovering over an item or area often provides descriptive text, clicking on something will cause John (your character) to interact with it if possible. Double-clicking on the floor will cause John to run to that location.

The story is set in the distant future, aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft called the Groomlake. The main character, John Maracheck, awakens from stasis, alone with no guide of how he got there or what to do. He must work first to restore his own health and then to patch both the ship and his memories in order to figure out what's happened. Often this results in pushing himself to new physical and emotional limits.

Among other things, John is in tremendous pain, with his wife and daughter missing. Time is running out as the Groomlake plunges further into the swirling blue methane clouds of Neptune. Will he survive or even discover what's happened before it's too late? Let's play STASIS and find out.

Upon reaching the final corner of Eel Pie Holm, Arthur encounters a couple of road blocks.
