In this video I consider what we are? By we, I mean the "I" or self-aware and conscious individual that exists within each and every one of us. As it turns out, answering this is no simple matter. Are we just our bodies and brains, or something more?

Technically NOT a click-bait title, as it really is possible to prove that the Abrahamic God not only does not (but logically cannot) exist.

This is not difficult to demonstrate, using a priori deduction and commonly-used definitions of the traits of God. In this video, I focus on the contradiction between God's transcendence and omnipresence.

Argument for the Transcendent God's Non-Existence:

P1): Existence implies something within the universe.

P2) God is transcendent.

C) Therefore God (by definition) does not exist.

Premise 1: Anything that exists does so necessarily by the fact of its existence or as a derivative from some necessary existence.

Premise 2: The universe exists.

Premise 3: The universe has always existed.

Conclusion: Therefore the universe necessarily exists.

In response to traditional cosmological arguments for God's existence, I developed this argument on how it makes more sense to consider the universe itself as necessary, rather than arguing God created it as an un-caused cause or that it came from nothing.

The Universe itself cannot not have existed, though the states of matter and energy within the system are indeed in constant flux and "contingent." While it is therefore true that all "things" within it are contingent (that is, could not have existed), the universe itself is necessary.

It seems that a second referendum amendment is likely to be tacked onto any Brexit Bill, which will essentially be a choice between Boris's deal (effectively Remain) and Remain. Given this, is it imperative that all Leave voters boycott both any second referendum and any General Election given all parties are effectively Remain ones too...?

At the recent Labour conference, we had a whole new set of policy announcements, including fudging on fully supporting Remaining in the EU until AFTER a General Election and opening the UK's borders completely and extending free movement to outside of the EU.

In 1653, the Rump Parliament that had executed King Charles I, had sat continuously since Colonel Pride's Purge in December of 1648, but refused to prorogue despite rampant corruption.

They say that history does not repeat itself, but that it does rhyme. Oliver Cromwell had to angrily dismiss the Rump Parliament of 1653, could a similar dismissal be possible for today's Remainer Rump...?
