Attorney and Professor Elizabeth Kirk is the Center's Director and a Research Associate and Lecturer at The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. She joined the Columbus School of Law after serving as the Director and Kowalski Chair of Catholic Thought at the Institute for Faith and Culture at the St. Lawrence Catholic Campus Center at the University of Kansas. Ethiopian World Federation, an organisation established in the United States in 1937 to promote love and good-will among Ethiopians at home and abroad, has made surprising stance on world celebrated performing artist, Madonna Louise Ciccone — who adopted four Malawians.
The Federation, which has since transformed into a global diaspora organisation, is asking the Malawi leader, President Lazarus Chakwera to prevent “homosexual and transgender” allegations over the adoption of the Malawian children for possible “human trafficking and social experiments”.

I am putting myself out there with my Adoption story cause in the near future if the paradigm shifts to new systems of government, this is a topic near and dear to my heart that I feel needs a major system over haul. I get personal with certain things and not so personal out of respect to both my families Biological and adopted. There are so many things I didn't go in depth with because of the knowledge I know that would make one cry and that would be censored if spoken. I speak my truth with knowing every adoption is individualized and each situation is unique. I just want to shed some light with my journey and hope that a new system is created so that adoptees have less trauma to heal, not feeling like an item bought and sold at a store, and that the laws change making things easier when in search or for medical necessity. I am being brave ranting about this topic, but it must be done to open it up to the universe.

Today in Canada, there are over 30,000 foster children awaiting a permanent adoptive home.
Here are some more stats on the issue:
In any given month there are almost 9,300 children and youth in foster care in Ontario alone, with 800 to 1,000 aging out of the system every year.
Manitoba has the highest provincial average of 33.2 for every 1,000 children in foster care, followed by the Northwest Territories, the Yukon, Saskatchewan and Nunavut.
Over 50% of foster children are indigenous, despite them being under 8% of the national child population.
All foster children, however, who age out of the system are much more likely to experience homelessness, and are more vulnerable to organized crime such as human trafficking.
How has Covid-19 impacted children in foster care?
Experts say that the impacts have been devastating, with many children being isolated from essential support services and counsellors. Some children have actually been placed in care because of the impacts of the pandemic on their parents or primary caregivers.
In spite of the massive need in this area, a 2017 survey found that fewer than 8% of Canadians ranked children at risk as their most important charitable cause, likely because most Canadian simply don’t know how authentic the need of this demographic is.

Amanda has both fostered and adopted, and after seeing the gaps in the system and so many foster and adoptive parents that need help, she started Home For Every Child, a non-profit to support those who want to foster and adopt. She’s here with us today to give an update on what’s happening in Canada and how we can be a part of the change that these children at risk need.

The risk is future emotional abuse. There is no way that a kidnap order could have been legally obtained. Local police decided to look into this and found the order was a forgery. They also told me that they'd been ordered to "back off or lose your jobs and pensions" when they wanted to go after the criminals. As far as I'm concerned the crime is still ongoing and if someone is brave enough to take on the HM regime over it's child trafficking nonce ring, then they're welcome to use this unresolved case.
Our usless Torie MP didn't want to know, as there was nothing in it for him. Fortunately a Birmingham MP decided to stand up in parliament and talk briefly about the human right abuses and the reason behind the kidnap of our only son. Just a shame that there are no human right solicitors willing or able to go up against the HM child trafficking paedophile ring. He also mentions the attempt to imprison me, that was because I speak out against the crimes of the establishment despite the injunctions to hide them. To this day we've still not been able to assert our human right to a family life.
I took an audio recording device into a meeting with social services. All I wanted was some evidence from their own mouths that we have never harmed any of our children. I got the evidence, but to this day we've had no form of justice for the injustices of the child trafficking HM family court lackeys. "it's about parenting your children"
We finally got all the paperwork to get the baby a social security card. So after much work and trying we are finally finishing all of our post adoption paperwork.

This about the day we adopted our youngest daughter. We all talk about how she came to our lives and show things that happened on the day she officially became part of our family after being in foster care for a year and a half.
