In this video, Amandha Vollmer (ADV) talks at length about the process of detoxification. Amandha states that your body is constantly working to detox wastes and toxins. When your body is congested and full of toxins, it may begin to struggle with the #detoxification process. Ultimately, this will lead to symptoms appearing, which is the only way that the body can cleanse itself.
It is important to understand that when the body is unable to eliminate wastes and #toxins through the detox process, it will store them inside the body. This is a defence mechanism where your body is trying to deal with wastes and toxins that it must eliminate to remain healthy. We have to make sure that we are on top of our detox regime! If your body starts to hold onto wastes and toxins for too long, it may lead to long-term disease states such as cancer, heart disease and other types of #acidosis states.
Amandha explains that your liver is the primary organ of removing unwanted materials - wastes and toxins - from your body. The detox process starts with the kidneys, which are the organs that filter out excess wastes. Once the kidneys have filtered the excess wastes, the liver begins its process. The liver will then remove the unwanted materials and expel them from the body.
Amandha also explains the connection between the liver and the skin. The #liver will use your skin as a method of removing wastes, which can lead to skin problems such as rashes, #acne and more.
