Now you can see the Fight against Mother Nature. France to unveil new economic, military strategy in Africa
French President Emmanuel Macron will unveil on Monday his country's changing economic and military strategy in Africa for the coming years, as France's influence substantially declines on the continent.
Macron is expected to call for a more balanced partnership with African nations, in a speech at the Elysee presidential palace before he begins an ambitious Africa trip on Wednesday to Gabon, Angola, the Republic of Congo and Congo.
Monday's speech comes at a time when France’s influence on the continent is facing more challenges than it has in decades.
In less than a year, French troops had to withdraw from Mali, which turned instead to Russian military contractors, and most recently from Burkina Faso, which also appears to increasingly look towards Moscow.
A growing anti-France sentiment has led to street protests in several West and North African countries against the former colonial power.

The IMF has control of Africa's banking systems, yet the vast majority of Africans remain unbanked. Inflation is so high, in some areas fiat currencies have lost half their value overnight. The highest rate of ₿itcoin adoption and usage is in Africa. Africans trust decentralized ₿itcoin more than anything offered by the Centralized Banking System. It has saved and transformed lives, much to the disdain of the IMF.

The adoption of Cryptocurrency in Africa has been hiccupped with resistance from local governments as many countries are yet to figure out how to regulate it. However, it is becoming clear every day that the wave of digital currencies seems unstoppable.
The Cryptocurrency market has grown rapidly over the past few years as Crypto adoption rises. It has gained acceptance among a large proportion of the low-income population and Africa where the predominantly young population is considered to have the fastest adoption rate.

As more and more people are jumping on the crypto wagon, its legal status globally has seen significant shifts, from countries legalizing Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, to others banning them.
