Released in 1998 on 10" 33⅓rpm vinyl.

Maeror Tri disbanded in 1996 so this material was recorded at least two years before release. It was released only on vinyl in an unusual 10" format and in a limited edition of 434 numbered copies.

It's considered to be a single, in spite of its length, with Pleroma on the A side and Altrove on the B side. It's also a full picture disc with a different image on each side, adding even more to its likely future appeal as a collector's item.

Written, produced and performed by Martin Gitschel, Stefan Knappe and Helge Siehl.

Track 6: "Illusio Temporis"
Album: "Ferflokte Banewood Beam"

Step into the shadows of New Orleans, where the echoes of a haunted past dance to the haunting melody of "Illusio Temporis."

In the darkest recesses of your mind, time unravels, and sanity teeters on the edge. Rick, a tormented artist, brings you a symphony woven from the fabric of despair, mental turmoil, and the ethereal whispers of angels.

Genre: Ambient, Rock, Electronic, Trip Hop, Alternative Rock, Gothic, Downtempo

For an otherworldly experience, click here: [https://linktr.ee/maltas22]

In the decadent heart of New Orleans, where shadows danced to the rhythm of a haunted past, Rick labored relentlessly to birth his magnum opus, "Illusio Temporis." The final track, a descent into the abyss, is his pièce de résistance—a tale drenched in darkness, mental torment, angelic whispers, and the eternal struggle between faith and despair.

The studio comes alive with malevolent energy as Rick's fingers caress the ebony and ivory keys. Shadows slither like ink, entwining him in a sinister embrace. Time itself warps, ensnaring him in its merciless grip.

With each note, the room distorts, and minutes stretch into agonizing eons. Walls bleed darkness, yearning to consume him whole. But from the abyss emerges a celestial presence—an Angel of Time with eyes that hold galaxies.

"I am the Keeper of Time's Illusion," the angel's voice resonates within Rick's soul. "Choose faith or surrender to despair, for your music has summoned me."

Rick's heart pounds as he confronts the celestial intruder, seeking answers to his existence. "Who are you, and what do you desire?"

"I am your salvation or your doom," the angel intones. The room spirals into a mental purgatory, demons clawing at Rick's sanity. Desperation gnaws at his soul.

But hope emerges. The angel extends a hand—a beacon of incandescent hope. "Choose faith, Rick. Let your music transcend the abyss."

Despair and hope collide in a symphony of torment. Rick plays on, carving away his torment with every note. Time shatters and reassembles, and he returns to the studio, transformed.

"Illusio Temporis" is complete—a mesmerizing masterpiece that blurs reality and the supernatural. Rick has ascended from the abyss, his music an anthem to the audacious power of hope.

Yet, as the final opus echoes, it draws you into Rick's eldritch creation—a realm where time, reality, and the unfathomable merge. The choice between faith and despair reverberates for eternity, a dissonant symphony for dauntless souls.

Thank you for stepping into the shadows with me.

Track 5 - "Ostia Mentis"

From the Album "Ferflokte Banewood Beam"

Genre: Electronic Dance, Ambient, Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Downtempo, Abstract IDM Leftfield, Minimal, Techno

In the dimly lit corridor, Lucas Vin stands before a series of ornate doors, their ancient wood bearing intricate symbols that whisper of arcane secrets. His heart pulses with a mesmerizing blend of excitement and trepidation as he reaches for the aged, ornate handle of the first door.

With an eerie, melodic creak, the door swings open, revealing a dreamscape that transcends the boundaries of reality. Lucas ventures into a realm where the known laws of the universe surrender to the forces of creation. Gigantic paintbrushes, towering like cathedral spires, pirouette gracefully through the air, leaving iridescent trails that coalesce into galaxies of color and form. Before him stretches an infinite canvas, a living tapestry where time and space wove their elusive dance. Lucas recognizes this surreal realm; it is the sanctuary of his artistic gift.

Closing the door with a reverent touch, Lucas moves on to the second, its carved patterns whispering enigmatic truths. As it yields to his touch, he steps into a world where gears of colossal intricacy turn and interlock in a mesmerizing ballet. Machines, like sentient beings, materialize from ethereal mists, assembling themselves in perfect synchronization. They churn and whir, an orchestra of invention crafting the fantastical and impossible. This is the realm of his inventive mind, where the boundaries of reality yield to the sovereignty of imagination.

The third door beckons him, emitting an otherworldly glow that bathes the chamber within. Shelves laden with glass vials hold elixirs that defy the very essence of existence. Beakers and retorts dance with alchemical grace, concocting brews that emanate a symphony of colors and celestial melodies. Phantasmal creatures crafted of pure light flit like benevolent phantasms, guardians of arcane knowledge. This is the realm of his scientific gift, where the fringes of knowledge extend into the cosmos itself.

Stepping through yet another portal, Lucas enters a grand concert hall where time ceases its relentless march. The ethereal notes, born of an unseen orchestra, transcend the senses, binding together past, present, and future in a haunting crescendo. With closed eyes, Lucas surrenders to the music, allowing it to permeate his very soul. This is the sanctuary of his musical gift, where sound becomes the medium for shaping destinies.

The fifth door reveals a tranquil moonlit garden, fragrant with the heady scent of night-blooming blooms. The stars above blaze with an intensity that eclipses the mightiest constellations. In the heart of this celestial Eden, a colossal telescope stands sentinel, its lens a polished window to the heavens. Lucas peers through it, and the cosmos unfurls before him, its enigmas and splendors unveiled in cascading nebulae and cosmic reveries. This is the realm of cosmic insight, where he brushes the very fabric of the universe itself.

With every door he ventures through, Lucas Vin discovers surreal landscapes that expand his understanding of himself and the boundless potential within him. These ethereal realms are not merely manifestations of his gifts; they are gateways to the infinite possibilities of existence.

Standing before the final door, his heart surges with anticipation, for he knows his journey is far from over. Beyond the tenth door, hidden in the shadows of the unknown, lie mysteries that beckon to be unveiled.

With a sense of wonder and resolve, Lucas pushes open the tenth door and steps into the veiled mysteries of his own.

Embrace the mystique and explore "Ostia Mentis" on this captivating odyssey: Listen to "https://linktr.ee/maltas22"

In the darkest recesses of dreams, even a glimmer of hope can cast its radiant light. I thank you for joining us on this musical expedition, where the boundless echoes of haunting melodies resonate in your soul.

During the late 1970s and early 1980s, a new wave of independent record labels emerged in the UK, including Rough Trade Records. These labels were instrumental in supporting and promoting many of the UK's most innovative and influential new wave and indie bands, such as Joy Division, The Smiths, The Cure, and The Fall.

Rough Trade Records was founded in 1978 by Geoff Travis and was known for its unorthodox approach to music distribution and promotion. The label released albums by a diverse range of artists, including punk rock bands like The Raincoats and Gang of Four, as well as more experimental acts like Wire and Scritti Politti.

In addition to releasing albums, Rough Trade Records also operated a record shop in London's Ladbroke Grove neighborhood, which served as a hub for the city's music scene. The shop was known for its eclectic selection of music and its welcoming atmosphere, and it became a gathering place for musicians, fans, and industry insiders alike.

The bands that were signed to Rough Trade Records in the 1970s and 1980s were known for their innovative and unconventional sound, as well as their socially conscious lyrics. Many of these bands helped to define the sound of the UK's new wave and indie scenes, and their influence can still be felt today.

Overall, Rough Trade Records and the bands it supported played a significant role in shaping the sound and culture of the UK's independent music scene during the 1970s and 1980s.

Introducing Track 2, "Fragments of Perception" from the album "Ferlokte Banewood Beam" by Maltas. Immerse yourself in a unique fusion of ambient, electronic dance, abstract IDM leftfield music.

Step into the decaying heart of an urban nightmare, where Emily's tormented soul teeters on the jagged edges of her fractured psyche. Lost between neurosis and psychosis, her sanity crumbles with each haunting step. But within this darkness lies a realm that embraces dark humor and flickers with hope.

Witness the peculiar dance of angels and demons within Emily's mind. Twisted demons revel in her agony, while ethereal angels offer fleeting respite. It's a surreal and darkly humorous spectacle that intrigues and unsettles.

Emily fixates on cyborgs, yearning to merge her tormented soul with cold, unfeeling metal. It's a surreal twist within her confusion.

Trapped in a perpetual nightmare, a glimmer of hope emerges. Fragmented memories resurface, echoing a compassionate therapist's words. A moment of dark humor amidst chaos, reminding us of a path to peace.

With newfound determination, Emily embarks on a treacherous journey, battling her demons. Each victory brings her closer to sanity's flickering light, illuminating optimism.

Witness the transformation of Emily's art as she exorcises her inner demons. Her haunting masterpieces speak of pain and redemption, embracing both darkness and light.

Supported by therapists and kindred spirits, Emily's shattered mind heals. She navigates her psyche, embracing scars as a testament to resilience. It's a journey of dark humor, offering hope to others.

Emerging, Emily finds solace in her past shadows. She becomes an advocate for those tormented by their own demons, guiding them towards the light. Her experience bestows profound empathy.

Immerse yourself in the darkness with "Fragments of Perception". Embrace the twisted humor, sparks of light, and hopeful undertones in Maltas' composition. Find more of Maltas' work and support them via: "https://linktr.ee/maltas22".

i was in closed psychiatric care
she had a round face
like a mix between japanese and western
so beautiful
and the round ball of red hair
that enveloped her
and she always used to use
this knitted sweater with lots of details
that seemed to fit her perfectly
it just exuded
emma
i talked to her some
we fell in love
maybe
it was football during the olympics on tv
and we were bored of the play
and played with eachother instead

II
she came into fountain house
like a calm wind
she also had a green shirt
which she seemed to love
more than anything else
it just exuded EMMA
she had the
most beautiful
smile on her face
when she asked
do you remember my name
the second day
and i said of course
your name is emma
she smiled even more
she used to play me songs
all day long
until one day
she sat on a chair
and whimpered
HOLD ME
but it was so quiet
and so frail
i didnt want to ruin her
she picked the stud
of the place instead
and said
awww poor tomas
i dont mind
ive slept with julia

about it for me
i dont need more
i do hope
sometime in the future
i meet someone more
which i can make love with
like lovers do

like normal people
im just a lonely

The band started using the dieretic 'ë' in their name shortly after breaking up in 1996 and sometimes putting an ellipsis in brackets after it on album titles '(...)' or '[...]'. Maybe this was a pointer to the fact they already had recorded a lot of unreleased material and intended to release it (which they did over the following years).

This album contains material recorded between 1992 and 1996.

🎵 "Dreaming of Oneirophrenia" from the album "Fractured" by Maltas 🎵

Enter a realm cloaked in darkness and despair as Maltas unveils the haunting composition, "Dreaming of Oneirophrenia," from the chilling depths of the album "Fractured." This atmospheric track delves into the realms of Electroni Dance, Ambient, Abstract IDM Leftfield, and Electro, immersing you in a sonic experience that will send shivers down your spine.

"Dreaming of Oneirophrenia" paints a harrowing narrative of Oneirophrenia, a twisted state where malevolence takes shape as Mares, a demonic entity haunting every corner. Amidst the torment, a faint glimmer of hope emerges as Saint Raphael intervenes, freeing the victim from the clutches of this diabolical presence.

Prepare yourself for an unsettling journey as this track plunges you into a labyrinth of despair and confusion. Feel the weight of an infernal realm pressing upon you as you navigate through its twisted corridors. The music envelopes you, echoing the cries of the tormented, yet amidst the darkness, a strange tranquility surfaces, deceiving the weary traveler with a false sense of solace amidst the storm.

The absence of vocals allows the haunting melodies and atmospheric layers to speak volumes, unraveling a tapestry of chilling emotions. Each note weaves a web of dread, while simultaneously igniting a fragile ember of hope amidst the encroaching despair. It is a delicate balance between the abyss and a flickering flame, a haunting dance between torment and redemption.

Hey guys, it's Maltas here! I'm excited to announce the release of my first classical song, "Regret in Memories" which is track number 1 from my album "Fractured" This song is about a guy who's ship has sailed away, leaving him with memories of regret and loss. It's a sad and emotional piece that tells the story of a man who has experienced many adventures, made mistakes, and suffered losses through his own fault.

The man in the song is a lonely figure, haunted by the memories of his past. He remembers the times when he was happy and carefree, but also the times when he made mistakes and suffered the consequences. He carries with him a white rose, symbolizing his hope for a better future, and a red rose, symbolizing his regret for the past.

I wrote this song after spending countless hours installing and sorting through huge music libraries. It was a daunting task, but it inspired me to create something beautiful and meaningful. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
If you liked this piece of work, please don't forget to subscribe and like the video if you're watching on YouTube. You can also find me on various other platforms, including SoundCloud, Bandcamp, and Odysee. And if you really enjoyed the song, you can tip me a coffee through the link in the description.

The story of the man in "Regret in Memories" is a reminder that even in the midst of regret and loss, there's always hope for a brighter tomorrow. We all make mistakes and suffer losses, but it's how we deal with them that defines us. Let's learn from our mistakes, cherish our memories, and keep pushing forward towards a better future.

So, what are you waiting for? Check out "Regret in Memories" on SoundCloud and let me know what you think. And don't forget to follow me on all my social media platforms for more music and updates.

Thanks for your support, guys. You're the reason I keep creating music.

A compilation released on 25 October 2010.

It may seem strange that an artist whose career was founded on post punk, new wave and synthwave should cross into ambient music in the middle part of their career, although John Foxx isn't the only example of someone who has done this. The uniqueness of his contribution manifests in those releases made under the 'Cathedral Oceans' brand, a staggering set of works, first released over the decade from 1995 - 2005, which have an architectural/ecclesiastical ambience making them difficult to compare with anything else.

An insight into the motivation behind these works is given by John Foxx at cathedraloceans.com. The inspiration for them goes back to his childhood and teenage years.

Cover of the opening track "Gate of Inanna" on Beherit H418ov21.c. It came natural to do this cover back in 2017. Thought I'd lost it. One of my favorite albums and opened me to a great deal of possibility. It shocked me how close my own voice is to the original. How similar are we with no contact on another part of this Earth. Shared life experience or shared genetic expression; perhaps both. One thing is certain; I cannot stop what is true.

Michael Hoenig (born 4 January 1952) is a German composer who has composed music for several films and games, in addition to two solo albums, including this 1978 release, the highly-acclaimed album Departure from the Northern Wasteland. He first came to attention as the innovative keyboardist for Agitation Free, briefly joined Tangerine Dream, and has collaborated with many of the pioneers of German electronic music.

Departure from the Northern Wasteland is a classic of the progressive electronic genre, containing four pieces that are almost perfect in their realization of the sequencer as a compositional tool. Hoenig took the concept of repetitive music further than most anyone in his homeland and claimed his inspiration was drawn from American minimalist composers Philip Glass, Steve Reich, and Terry Riley. The title track is a sublime 20-minute journey through ever-changing melodic and rhythmic phase relationships, creating the vivid sensation of a train ride through misty Northern European landscapes.

Tracks:

1) Departure From the Northern Wasteland
2) Hanging Garden Transfer
3) Voices of Where
4) Sun and Moon

1994's Semantic Spaces saw Delerium take a third change of direction within just a few years. After their initial period of majestic dark ambient/electronica they released two Berlin space/acid house influenced albums in 1994 before again changing direction towards the ethno-ambient/dream pop sound that was being championed by the likes of Deep Forest, Enigma & Future Sound Of London.

I must admit that I was not initially terribly excited by this change as I have always been more interested in their deeper & darker atmospheres. However this is not a huge criticism. Semantic Spaces certainly supplies everything that a fan of ethno-ambient could want from a release. The Eastern influenced Metamorphosis & the deep acid of Sensorium are the definite highlights, and Consensual Worlds provides a more dub feel similar to The Orb.

The two female vocal led pieces by Kristy Thirsk, Flowers Become Screens & Incantation, are both far more commercially viable than most Delerium material, and, despite initially cringing at the prospect, they quickly dove under my skin after a couple listens. The straight up ethno-Ambient material is solid. There are tons of melody & plenty of trance-y elements throughout. Overall, Semantic Spaces is very pleasurable experience, with plenty of variety.

12) The Ancient Day
13) Red Twilight With The Old Ones
14) The Return

The history of Steve Roach’s definitive album, 1988’s Dreamtime Return, is the history of a musician isolating himself on an authentic desert trying to recount the visual experience of a place as wild and dazzling as the Primitive Australian continent. The experience inevitably brought him to contact Aboriginal people and ask for a collaboration with him for the occasion of his newest studio album. The line-up in the album includes two Aboriginal players and New Age composer Kevin Braheny.

The title’s name indicates the principal Aboriginal religious concept, the Dreamtime. The Dreamtime is a sort of genesis that explains the creation of the world and man through the deeds of ancient, primordial titans who shaped the soil and water with their actions. The concept explores also themes of birth, death and time through intensely nostalgic themes and imagery. Dreamtime is essentially an Aborigine alternative to the ancient Pagan myths that spread through Europe much later. It dates back some 65,000 years.

During the Dreamtime it is said that the creators made men women and animals, declared the laws of the land and how people were to behave to one another, the customs of food supply and distribution, the rituals of initiation, the ceremonies of death which are required to be performed so that the spirit of the dead travels peacefully to his or her spirit-place, and the laws of marriage.

Some Dreamings told of the mythical creators disappearing. They believed that the creators disappeared from the sight of mere mortals, but continued to live in secret places. Some lived in the tribe’s territory in rock crevices, trees and water holes. Others went up into the sky above as heavenly bodies. Others changed into (or perhaps became) natural forces such as wind, rain, thunder and lightning.

It is believed that many of the creators continued to live on the land or in the sky above watching over them. These supernatural enigmatic creators were often referred to as men and women who had the ability to change shape into animals and other creatures such as the Rainbow Serpent, an immortal being and creating God. The connection between snake and rainbow suggests the cycle of the seasons and the significance of them and water in human life. When a rainbow is seen in the sky, it is supposed to be the Rainbow Serpent traveling from one waterhole to another.

(The Christians aren't the only ones who've had the rainbow highjacked from them by people who take pride in disgusting sexual perversions.)

The Dreamtime may be difficult for many of us to understand fully but it is part of who the Aboriginal people are, the very essence and reason for being here. It is all encompassing and will forever be at the center of their existence as a people.

Hey there, it's Maltas! I'm excited to share with you my latest track, "The Happy Sad," which is the first song I ever wrote. It's a bit of an experiment, a tryout, if you will, but I think it turned out pretty cool!
"The Happy Sad" is an electronic, synthpop, and ambient track with acoustic elements. It's dark with a sprinkle of hope, yet it's happy at the same time. I know it sounds like a bit of a contradiction, but that's what makes it unique!

I wrote this song as my first foray into music, and I'm really proud of how it turned out. I hope you enjoy it too!

If you like what you hear, please consider subscribing and liking the video on YouTube. You can find the track on my SoundCloud page, and if you want to support me, you can tip me a coffee through this URL: https://ko-fi.com/maltas22.

English electronic part-time music duo Global Communication (Tom Middleton and Mark Pritchard) released their second album 76:14 in 1994, one of the most famous and widely-loved albums in ambient techno. The title of the album corresponds to the record's total running time in minutes and seconds, just like the songs are named after their individual lengths. This is an immense journey into early '90s ambient with "just a dose" of techno. The music that Global Communication creates takes you to another world, full of calm, relaxing, atmospheric rhythms and melodies. If you're a fan of Ambient/Electronic, this album is a must-have.

Enjoy the excellent music and trippy clouds!

Hey there, music lovers! I'm thrilled to introduce you to track number 2 called "Hope in Fading" from my album "Cirrhosis" as part of my electronic, synthpop, and ambient music project, "Maltas." This song is a unique blend of slow, sad, and dark elements with a delicate touch of hope that shines through.

When I first heard about cirrhosis and its incurable nature, my mind was consumed by chaotic thoughts. It was during those intense moments that I created this composition, capturing the essence of my emotions. Life can throw us unexpected challenges, but like a determined soldier marching on, we find the strength to face them.

Through the haunting melodies and atmospheric sounds, I invite you to join me on this musical march, where darkness intertwines with a spark of resilience. It's a reminder that even in the face of adversity, we can find a glimmer of hope to guide us forward.

If this piece resonates with you, I kindly ask for your support. Subscribe and like the track on YouTube. And if you'd like to show some extra support, you can buy me a coffee through Ko-fi. Every gesture of support helps me keep marching on, creating more music for you to enjoy.
